Kevin Black is Paul Gross. Check him out in the series, Due South. Red stars in Season 2, episode 1. And ' Harold ' , Patrick McKenna, stars in season 1. Lots of actors from the Red Green show appear in both shows.
Love Hap SHAUGHNESSY ! ! Wish I had him as an uncle ! ! Best episode hands down ! ! Most dangerous food in the world ? WEDDING CAKE ! ! Don't get married , Harold ! ! 👍👍👍
Hap has been my fave from the beginning. The way he would lie during the early on fishing skits was so legit in approach, obvious lies, but well executed. I have had a thing for house boats since I was a boy thanks to a season or two of Macgyver. Would rather rock that than a simple boring aluminum boat. Took me three seasons to remember his name.
I am lucky. My wife’s birthday is 11/12 and mine is 11/13. Never forget hers as much as I would love to forget mine. And for enquiring minds, she is 8 hours older than me.
Actually, people in relationships DO improve themselves before they get married, if they wonder what their partner sees in them, when I was in a long-distance relationship, I tried to improve myself, I was more patient towards people when they did things that normally make me upset and want to retaliate.
Makes sense, people often buy premade pillows that they embroider or needlepoint. It's the same with those needlepoint wall hangers, they buy the frame and cloth and then needlepoint it themselves. Some people make their own pillows but not everyone.
This show wouldn't be the same with out Harold, he is one of the most important characters that makes this show so funny, he is the star in my opinion of the show.
Yes and the one season without Harold who left the show as an actor due to a contract issue, I felt most of those episodes were lacking in the give in take the show had on the main part, only a few episodes of that season were good, the rest were okay.
I guess if we ever saw Bernice, Moose Thompson, Stinky Petersen , etc it would spoil things . It would be sort of like seeing the Peanuts character's parents
It's Bernice's birthday and Red must find a last minute gift and Bill Smith tries campfire cooking and Possum van needs a paint job and Hap tries to guess the word alien but fails
Get yourself a high efficiency wood furnace. I know a guy who owns an old Victorian house like the Bates Motel (3 stories). It takes only one log to heat it per day in the winter.
Well, some wives might say "don't make a big fuss about my birthday." But the thing is, men will take that too literally. They WON'T make a fuss, and this episode goes to prove that there is no such thing as a perfect husband. Even though Red has much experience being a husband.

I suspect that the "sent to us by a viewer" flash segments are not legit. Some of the objects look to quickly and lazily made. Most people would put greater care and effort into an item they are planning to send to a show they obsess over, even if the main component is duct tape. Most similar shout outs in other venues use a full or abbreviated name such as """P. Thompson, from Flint, Michigan""". These were mostly props that did not make it into an episode. Several episodes back, there was panties sent to Harold, and like so many other public broadcasting inappropriate aspects of the show, this did not sit right. When a lady throws or sends out panties, they are used in most instances, that is the whole point. To photograph genuine used undies for a family show, just did not seem real. I would personally not touch some random undergarments sent in, could have been a slob or dude that wore them. And why on Earth did Harold not brag about being sent panties during the show? This indicates that the "sent to us by a viewer" segments were made in bulk and evenly distributed across one or more seasons like the campfire songs. I give them props. They did everything they could to ensure the success of the show. True dedication. When I first saw the fake city toon intro, I was like damn they don't give up.
A lot were made by fans. I think he mentioned it in an interview near the series end. And the whole point was to look like it was just something cobbled together with duct tape and some imagination.
This show is definitely one example of something that did improve with age in my opinion
I always like closing my eyes and thinking the Adventures with Bill as a radio show.
I love you, Red Green .You make me happy !
And I love you
Thank you
You're welcome 😊
@@marywilde7378 I love everyone!... Well almost everyone
But sure. I love you.
Thanks to Steve for posting all these on RUclips! Makes my day every day.
Happy Asphalt Day, Red!
has to be one of my favorite of his talks about marriage and what women expect from it. Very smart, Red Green. Thanks for finding the laughter in it.
I love laughing.. Thank you for this program.

Yea Otis I love Hap also! After Red and Harold he is one of my favorite characters. I also like Winston Rothschild!
@@810PRODUCTIONS I watched all, summer long video from Kid Rock and I want a stripper pole on mine
I only JUST now realized after a year of watching this show that the Possum Van's paint job is in fact that of a possum.
Took me until the end of season 1.
Haha, yeah it is pretty funny.
Red Green finally forgets Bernice's birthday, but can remember to get free blacktop.
lol..love that "men anonymous" club thing!!

How many of you guys noticed Harald's cushion still had the tag on it?
He's a dork, he isn't stupid.

I think deserved what he got in the end of the episode just for that "Bernice couldn't care less about Harold" line.
Monomythhero85 she’s probably the only one who does care about Harold
@@bostonrailfan2427 I care about Harold.

Did y'all catch when Bill ate the hot dog that he bit out of the end that wasn't wiped on his arm/shirt? ( @17:05 )
I think it's a bit presumptuous for Harold to call Red our hero.
It is "jero", means an enka singer. The "J" is silentish.
@@810PRODUCTIONS I thought Harold was saying Gyro, like the sandwich
Red Green used the h word

When did he use the h word?
Only time the contestant didn't win the word game, I think
Which word was that??
@RedGreenTV Alien
I liked the old show better
🤣🤣🤣
I'm sorry spell due South

Larry has no idea what he's talking about.
Okay, Hap
Sure. If said log was the size of a telephone pole
Why are some men so selfish, putting their own desires above everything else, including their wife's birthday?
