Hey just post " like my comment I'm a grown man that seeks attention in RUclips comment sections" , instead next time.... Such insight you gave us there !
The strongest beat of the documentary I felt was the lack of Stephanie after regarding Vince's departure. I think it's because when I first started ever watching wwf it was when Ken shamrock rescued Stephanie McMahon from kidnapping and I thought it was real and now I'm an old person who has children who are girls and the question just lingers in my head how she feels about her father now that all the truth has escaped the whoopee cushion.
I really enjoyed it. Never been a big pro wrestling guy but it’s all I knew as a young kid in the early 2000s, I wish there was more coverage of the 2000-2009 era.
For big stretches of the documentary, mostly the attitude and ruthless aggression era stuff, I felt like I was seeing the same things I’ve heard repeated 1000 times before. But a lot of the stuff from the territory and golden eras of the business was really interesting and new info to me. The ring boy scandal with Pat Patterson in particular was all new info to me and was completely sickening. Overall I’d say it was a solid 6.5/10
I thought it was a fine documentary for a casual fan. A lapsed WWE fan might think nothing new is being shown here. Shane-O Mac and Tony Atlas were great in the doc. Plus that writer lady explaining Heat was great.
As someone who hasn’t been in the wrestling world, it had me captivated. I can imagine if you grew up with it you would feel like some of this is basic knowledge, but as a young adult some of the WWE stuff blew my mind. I thought some of the critics went at Vince a little too hard, but I guess that’s what they are there for. For Vince, well if you didn’t want to get portrayed a certain way, you shouldn’t have acted this way. But in totality I can’t think that this docu-series would change very many opinions of people who love WWE and sway them against it. The same with Vince, I’m sure people who are fans of him shrugged their shoulders and said “well I guess that’s just who he is.”
Thought it was good but more oriented for people outside the wrestling world. Most of this stuff has been previously documented and is well known within the wrestling community. It hits the kind of points that will hook people who don't know anything about wrestling.
@@TheReal_DeanD yeah he just seems like a regular guy with some dad issues. Also this docu gave the impression that Shane was never really playing a character.
@@Sled27don one of my favorite things with Shane was the look he gave talking about Hogan going against WWF. Looks like he would have fought him if he could.
As a dude who dont watch wrestling and dont know history of it. I found it very interesting. I never understood the vince and dana comparisons but now i geddit. Dana really does want to be vince
@@FuntClaps101 Monopolize everything is the business model of every business that wants to operate at a large scale. The UFC and the WWE are just examples of businesses that succeeded at doing this.
48:48 Based on the whole situation with vince and his son shame I can see that Shane McMahon is on his way to AEW, But what will be his role soon the to be determined.
The documentary I think was supposed to be just an origin piece for Vince and how made the WWE huge. But with the new allegations and the Netflix deal, I think it turned out as this weird hybrid of a celebration and hit piece. All of this stuff I already knew but it’s a good piece for none wrestling fans and basically a good sparknotes of WWE and Vince’s history. Overall 6/10 still liked it
I just don't get why we have to retread the first 5.5 episodes every 2 years, the Montreal 'screwjob' wasn't a big deal brett hart just likes to cry and whine, it felt like a fluff piece that tact on at the end that he raped people, didn't mention that WWE and John Laurinitis were also defendants in the same case, didn't mention Brock getting to rape her essentially being in his contract Very convenient for WWE's new partner to pump out a fluff piece about how cool the company is and now the bad man gone
i think my disappointment was because of all the hype going in and ultimately i already knew about almost all of this stuff and i don’t watch wrestling
33:18 Let's make man and want former President. They have a lot in common. They're do whatever it takes to get on top and stay on top 33:18 . They both have stepped on people, most of theirlives. The difference is that one was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and the other one was not.
Bro, you’ve earned “the experience” title..keep it rolling
Was hoping you'd talk about this doc. Wasnt expecting an hour so thank you again brother
Brian ‘Content’ Campbell
Netflix didn't screw Vince... Vince screwed Vince
Too soon bro. Too f'n soon

It was definitely made for people who aren’t familiar with wrestling, but I thought the doc was pretty fair and very well produced
This is the best video on the channel so far! I want more story type vids from B-Sizzle.
Great work! Enjoyed the analysis on the beginning of each episode.
People drastically underestimate how difficult it is to one take an hour long talk without being awful
You're the man BC
BC we can’t miss an upload! LETS GET IT 💯💯

Wow bc giving us sum exclusives here… Shane Vince picture in archive great stories 👏🏾

Not a wrestling fan at all, but very interesting to hear your passionate thoughts! More media reviews and rambles!
Really really enjoyed the Shane bits.
good review, keep it up champ. Rooting for you
Same. Shane came off the best in this documentary. I got a kick out of him rolling with Renzo Gracie.

We got the clean version of Vince Caligula MacMahon. He is wrestling's very own Diddler

Dana 100% followed the Vince blueprint. Destroy your competition, monopolise the whole industry. He absolutely studied the Vince way of doing things.

Also can’t wait for two episodes a week with my favorite washed up donks. 🔥
We can hope there will be a similar documentary about Dana White with fighters who were screwed over by UFC
28:00 is where it begins

The real question... Montreal Screw job... Brett KNEW!!! CMON!! DIDNT HE???? LOL
I thought Behind the Bastards podcast’s six episode arc on McMahon a couple of years ago was better and that was before the new allegations.
This documentary didnt make him look bad at all
Great amount of content
Too nice to be a hit piece, too real to be a fluff piece.
Wouldn't that make it a well balanced documentary?
@@Sim0n98 Balanced, but dishonest
I dont know anything about the guy so i enjoyed it
We need a luke Thomas Netflix documentary 😂
Boring, it’d just be about him and his endless pursuit of BBLs prior to meeting his wife.
@@calvinmiguel4405 him saying put the camera on me over and over
Vince is one of my all time favorites. Had to watch the Jim Cornette review on this, and now the BC one.
BC back talking rasslin, is that what gets you off brother! I don’t wanna come back down from this cloud! Katie Vick! #LoadWatch
🔥
It was fair.
love some non mma content. I am as out on the ufc as I am in on the BCE
Have you heard of BC amplified?
I didn't see it. Not interested. But I'm always interested in the Ar-teest himself
Who was Sable?
BC should absolutely capture the wave of Pro Wrestling on this channel in a way MK refuses to. review the main shows!
i think my disappointment was because of all the hype going in and ultimately i already knew about almost all of this stuff and i don’t watch wrestling
Johnny ace flipped on vince, but then flipped back again later, lol
The BCE got the BDE bapa great guy nevermedum
Vince ‘Skat’ McMahon 🙈
finally some wrestling content without grumpy ass luke hating on it 🤣
Better than Luke Thomas
MORE WRASTLIN' CONTENT PLS WWE > UFC IN 2024

I watch this review because use of you. But I ain't watching the doc bro.
Adam Cole sucks
Never understood how anybody older than 12 could watch WWE - but Mr. McMahon was a fun watch, and this review was A-OK
