    Perfect video. It was straight and to the point, clearly showed the parts in question and it gave me the hint I needed to get my sliding screen door off the track. Now I can move on to the next part of my chore, replacing the torn-up screen! :)

    I found our screen was installed the wrong way with the lock on the outside and needed to flip it. Done under five minutes thanks to you!

    I am having a problem getting my sliding screen door out of track , i have all 4 tension screws backed completely out and can't get enough clearance to pull door out of frame, don't want to bend sliding door frame to remove but I don't know how else to get it to come out and I don"t really want to bend track out on frame to remove. Any advise. Thank you

    American in Japan, just moved, and am told by the management that if I want window and door screens, I'm going to have to pay hundreds of dollars. Well screw that! I'm taking the old ones with me. After all, apparently they're not owned by the building, so they're mine to take.
    I haven't messed with this type of thing in a long time, so I was expecting a slightly better way, and what you explained is fairly obvious, but your experienced explanation is appreciated.
    Now about cleaning them before moving them to the new place ...

    Not all doors are the same. On mine one cannot slide a screwdriver under the wheel because there is a track that encloses the glide track

      The video clearly identifies the tensioning screw on a screen door and demonstrates how to adjust the tension on the wheels, so that can be depressed the wheels and lift the door off the track.

    Next time you do a video on removing a screen door do a video where you actually remove a screen door.

      If the screen were still in the frame, she wouldn’t have easily been able to demonstrate locating and adjusting the mechanisms on the screen to release it. If you still don’t get it, you might be slow. There are special programs for people such as yourself. Good luck.
