We just sent our 14-year-old Husky across the Rain Bow Bridge. Our house and lives have a huge hole. We were blessed, she was my son"s dog while he was in the USAF serving as a K9 Handler so she was trained as a puppy. When he deployed we became her new family. She didn't dig or try to escape. Nor did she chew things. In fact, looking back she was a perfect fur baby. We miss her dearly.

Encourage talking singing howling yourself and expose to song and companion husky sounds on tv you will be surprised how they will come around once they realize how they can sound and that you want them to be vocal

Hahaha you nailed it . What I did for my fence was chainlink and I went 8ft height and an extra 2 ft below the dirt . I urge anyone who uses chain link fencing to buy the fake ivy so they don't spot a bird or a squirrel or a cat or basically anything they make eye contact with. Because their prey drive is 2nd to none when it comes to small critters .(also I bought the fake turf to prevent the crazy digging. It pissed her off at first but she got used to it) Best dog ever . I haven't decided if she keeps me young or is aging me faster lol I have countless videos of me and my husky arguing in my jeep . I work at an animal shelter for 16yrs and unfortunately many people adopt huskies just based on looks until they get them home and realize ( oh this isn't a sleep all day lazy dog that I thought ) they have super high energy that comes in bursts . If you walk them everyday or commit at least 30min of intense playing then they will be that lap dog you want . But it takes work and is worth every minute .
Ps- I tried not letting her sleep in my bed haha that lasted 2 days until she broke out of her crate one night and I woke up to her using the pillow next to mine because she had really realllllly bad separation anxiety ( I still think she just pretends to make me feel bad ] lol those damn huskies always out starting us

I have a 2 yr old Siberian husky she’s very good doesn’t dig under the fence or escape anymore 😂 does go after my sons shoes now and again but my husky is protective she loves cats as I have 4 they dominate her for sure she does bark as stated she will get her point across when needed tho ‘ she can get jealous when other dogs get to close but she’s not aggressive now when or if another dog growls at me or seems like he’s hurt me she’ll attack him same thing if a human seems like they’d hurt me she’ll growl with teeth if they don’t back away she could bite but usually she scares them😂 so mine is a good protector all on her own I never taught her to be but very well behaved & loyal awsome dog ever ❤

No other dog is allowed to meet up with their lover when they are together. When we walk her and she has not seen him, she drags us to her boyfriend's house hoping to run into him.

No, people do not mistake your husky for a wolf, they are geneticly the dogbreed closest to wolfancestry and it shows, a lot. That sentiment is correct.
And they are not social and hard to train. When they are disinterested, nothing can motivate them to work with you, no earscratching and no treat will help.

hide your car keys if u let them out side they wont come in till they are ready to come in and yes they are family dogs but they will fight other dogs and win!!
