Because the case collapsed when the key witness, his girlfriend, stopped cooperating with the prosecution. He wasn't found not guilty either. The worst case scenario for the club.
@@sisulart she didnt stop cooperating. The police said they had other evidence to suggest he didnt do anything wrong but that additional evidence wasnt accessible to the public. The video that everyone saw was a partial video of the full thing. The CPS are still able to pursue even the girl didnt wana pursue esp in such a serious case. People need to learn the facts.

Two mason's in the squad worth bugger all in reality
MG being guilty or not is not what the gauge should be. Everyone deserves a second chance, everyone. He was and still is a young man. There is no excusing his actions and words. Poisonous relationships exist, love comes in many ways - both volatile and the romantic happily ever after stuff... What is really hard about bringing MG back is 1. The way the club dealt with it.
2. The typical self righteous emotional reactions of people.
Additionally, the fact he's out there making his way back into football shows he must have a great support network around him. That says a lot about a person - the people stick by you. It says a lot about the conscience of a person also - to have a guilty conscience could lead to giving up and being a danger to himself. But to put himself out there shows that he believes in himself both as a talent and as a person. That strength comes from within and I will echo again - the people who are standing by and supporting him. Something to consider..

I’d have mason back but fans from all teams will crucify him and it just wouldn’t work. I don’t think he has that fight in him every week hence him wanting to stay in Spain. Take what we can and move on.
