I very much regret not having started Ace Combat before 6, but seeing the gameplay and watching how this game became iconic is truly a masterpiece on itself
My favorite part is that the enemies aren't just the warmongers of Yuktobania, but also the ones from Osea. This is like a battle between Peace and War
Back then, I thought Ace Combat was a "CoD but planes" sorta game, that is until I was trying to create some fighter jet combat scenarios for this story that i was making and got confused because I couldn't get it to be exciting enough (it was basically just a glorified War Thunder's Air RB match), then I stumbled upon a video in my recommendations about trying to recreate Yellow 13 in AC6 (iirc), I saw the first cutscene of the game and was curious so I looked into AC6, I went from that to Ace Combat 7 and was instantly hooked on the gameplay, and so I based some portions of my fighter jet combat scenarios on Ace Combat, and it turned out well. That was in 2020, now in 2021, I've watched the gameplays of Ace Combat 7, Zero, and have just completed 5, And god dang...
I really did not expect this game to be as good as it was back when I got it years ago. The entire AC franchise is gold…. But 5 will forever be one of my favorite games ever made by far. Namco and Project Aces seriously caught lightning in a bottle with this game.
Here i am at 5am cheering for Zap while he takes down the solg and clapping when the title-card hit. Man this game to me is the magnum-opus of the series, bar none. And it was clear how much they tried to reach into the soul of 5 to make Ace Combat 7.
During 27+ mission there's an enemy aircraft approaching from south east. I can't remember the model, but you should unlock a plane if you shoot it down
Yeah... 32:09 wow even after the events of Ace Combat 7, they still don't know who the demons of razgriz are. I wonder if they'll be featured in a game anytime soon.
What I never understood is how it was never confirmed that the Demons of Razgriz actually were Wardog Squadron. Like... wasn't Genette with them literally the whole time? often filming? I guess you could say his recordings went down the the Kestrel but he himself survived, why didn't he write about it? My little fan theory is that the whole game(cutscene wise) is being told from a 3rd person, by Genette(Generation Kill style), some time after 2020 when the origins of the Razgriz squadron were declassified. Confirming to the world that yes, it was the Sand Island squadron that saved them.
Genette had saved the records before the Kestral sank, but due to the Circumstances of the war, as well as how publishing the Records would result in the Identities of Razgriz, as well as their allies being exposed (which would put them all in danger), he had to keep the Records classified. Ace Combat 7 actually had Genette publish the records of the Circum-Pacific War about a month after Harling's Death at the time Harling had wanted to reveal the truth, exposing the truth of the Circum-Pacific War. You see that in AC7's Epilogue, on a Magazine. Matter of fact, Harling was killed in AC7 because Erusea and Osea did not want the Maniscripts of the Circum-Pacific war to be made public (due to how easily the Grey Men had infiltrated both sides), and had hoped Harling's death would prevent it, not realizing Harling had planned ahead and told Genette to declassify the Records of the War at the planned date anyway.
Nagasei: "All that's left of their hatred is this thing in front of us." Drones in AC7: "B R U H" One of the few things I dislike about AC 7 is how it did AC 5 so dirty.

The Timeline about Council Meeting in 2020 will be close to Aurelia-Leasath War, and every possible side story DLC for AC7, like Gryphus 1, Mobius 1 after Operation Katina, Larry 'Pixy' Foulke Razgriz's fate, Scarface's Squadron's fate, Garuda 1 Talisman in Anea, etc., especially young Rena in Unreal Engine 4 version.
The DLC:
salvation
They will disclose Torres' *CRISP WHITE SHEETS*
Its interesting how each game of the holy trilogy has a theme to it
This one is about idealism and its beautiful.
Captain Anderson always gave me a Tom Hanks feel.
The F-14 is such a majestic aircraft
I swear that this game will never compare to any game with that ending it teared me up
Imagine doing a post stall maneuver in the tunnel to shoot down hamilton 😂
You can do that with a-10
This has got to be the best game in existence. I played this game a lot in my childhood. When i beat for the first time, i almost shed a tear.

I'm not crying, it's the onion im cutti.. Ok nvm yes I am
The onion is crying too
That mission was like Top Gun + Avengers Endgame + Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi
I always loved the silent Howl at the end. Don’t know why, but it’s aesthetically pleasing.
This needs to be a movie one day
Justice Clark you could cut out the shitty missions like horsemen as an example
@@anonymousanonymity2815 Horseman was easy if you used your HUD (Aka look at the range indicator on the right side of the HUD). Even then, all you really had to do was time the destruction. Just linger around the max range you commence lock on, begin your approach at around 5 or 4 seconds, and then fire your missile once Nagase reaches '2 Seconds'. Rinse and repeat.
Or remastered with AC7's Graphics.
Heck a anime about the timeline from Zero all up to 7 would be nice, but should they make the protagonist silent?
@@joshburke4083 oh that, would be amazing.
I remember beating both these missions in the A-6 Intruder... Dont know why, but I enjoyed that plane for some reason.
I very much regret not having started Ace Combat before 6, but seeing the gameplay and watching how this game became iconic is truly a masterpiece on itself
*Lie down*
*Try not to cry*
*CRY A LOT*
Rehydrate
...
Cry even more.
Fucking soundtrack gets me everytime
My favorite part is that the enemies aren't just the warmongers of Yuktobania, but also the ones from Osea. This is like a battle between Peace and War
Yeah. In the future, I'd like to see a game where we play as the Yukes.
This is still the best tunnel stage, challenging, tension, and full of feels.
everyone knows you have to say "no" to that last question in the game. Blaze is a troll and loves to hear those exasperated sighs.
That was in 2020, now in 2021, I've watched the gameplays of Ace Combat 7, Zero, and have just completed 5,
And god dang...
Controversial take. This was the best Ace Combat game.
4 will have a special place in my heart as my first game but 5 made me cry.
Zero was the best, but this one is a VERY close second.
I can't remember the model, but you should unlock a plane if you shoot it down
Yeah... Seeing this scene again #alonetogether in time of corona pandemic, really gives me chills and deep respect to all the people like health workers/doctor/courier/transportation worker/food service industry and everyone that come together fighting the pandemic.
Whilst sometimes sacrificing their own health and safety for the people of the world.. i thank you all and #staysafe everyone
nigga what
I love the yuktobanian AWAC he is so happy.
If Unsung War didn't play during the final segment, it would be the most boring final battle ever.
But it did. And the world is better because of it.
Blue Skies as well
me after seeing the date I was half tempted to do that sky eye refrence
"Man that's a big tunnel". Wait, you're still alive Chopper?

32:09 wow even after the events of Ace Combat 7, they still don't know who the demons of razgriz are. I wonder if they'll be featured in a game anytime soon.
Kei Nagase appeared in the final mission though
Can we get an f in the chat for my man Alvin h. Davenport?

Nagasei: "All that's left of their hatred is this thing in front of us."
Drones in AC7: "B R U H"
One of the few things I dislike about AC 7 is how it did AC 5 so dirty.
1:40 I remember when I watched this scene for the first time. It was sooo shocking....
Thanks for all the uploads, it feel great to see this game again. Your flying was top notch, too.
I love this game series sm I literally have emotional attachment to this ngl. Every time I reply it, when I finish I'm upset again. Best game in the series by far🙌
Rip Harling
That phalanx always scared me
care to explain why is one of your men here?
This game suddenly popped in to my head again, thanks for the upload! Though in my head canon I think that Nagase ended up with Blaze and that’s their daughter.
26:25
This line... It kinda makes me shed a tear
My best AC serie. So many emotional feels. And the first game who showed me that War is more than just shooting, explosions, and adrenaline surge...
Ghost of Kyiv, we pray for your success

"the razgriz squadron lives *among us* "
When I first heard the journey home with all the pilots singing I started crying
I always got goosebump whenever i replayed or watching this game mission. It gives so much determination to finish the mission
33:42 "The Journey begins."🕊
You know, for a moment there, as the Kestrel is shown sinking, the theme sounds a bit Russian. Maybe to represent who are united in common defense?
The final mission should really have been "take off in a B-1 and land a nuke on the solg midair"
Nah, a B-1 would have trouble catching up to it and dropping a nuke would certainly create a chain of explosions that would destroy coastal Oured, not to mention the B-1 bring vaporized instantly. Just not logical
I once droped a FEAD on the SLOG, died instantly
One of the best games every made. Always a little teary eyed at the end.
Its worth noting the singer for that song of peace is also the English VA for Motoko Kusanagi.
i think i understand why Blue Skies plays at the last 2 minutes of the credits, its because Mobius 1 is the player character in the arcade mode.
You know...now that I think about it, the launch scene gives us a hint that Blaze is a selfless and caring person. He's the squadron's captain, yet he's the last one to launch.
