I learned from Lupus that I have to go slowly - it takes about an hour for my joints to get moving every morning - I can’t clean like I used to but I have to take care of dishes and floors and shine my stove every day- then it’s good enough - I clean then sit on heating pad awhile - then clean some more - it’s just my new reality
I have learned so much from you! Now i individually wrap my meats, use the wall cleaner spray, and today I made my first chicken bone broth from a rotisserie chicken! Thanks!
Karen the soup looked delicious. When I was a student I ate a lot of lentil dishes. I particularly liked lentil soup and North African lentil stew. Plus a good black lentil Curry. It was nice to see Robin, I do hope his flu is easing and he is feeling a lot better. You seemed to be sniffling too, so equally I hope you are feeling better. I think you are so right about taking things slower with the bathroom, whilst Robin is so busy with work, especially as you have both already done so much reorganising, which I am sure has been stressful at times. I think your new approach of putting the wallpaper all the way down to the bottom is a good idea, it will make the bathroom look more finished and you can always peel it off and subway tile or half panel at a later date. Anyway, one or two hours a week will get the bathroom finished in a timely manner and it will look great once it is completed. Btw I am so sorry your mirror broke, but am relieved that neither your daughter nor yourself were hurt by the shattered glass. Take care and good health to everyone in your household. X 🤗🫂
That soup looks delicious and as you said very economical. I also have a cat who thinks she should eat every three hrs or so. She was very overweight but we cut back on her food and she lost 3 pounds. You should be very proud of your herb crop❣️
Glad you found your labels. Too bad I don’t have someone watching what I do! Just today I went to change a lightbulb using bulbs from a new pkg I just bought. Do you think I could find them?! Geez turned the whole house upside down trying to find the pkg! 🤣🤣🤣 ❤Em
Glad your more observant viewers remembered where your labels were! Yes, broken mirrors/glass are so tiresome to clean up. The soup looks delicious--will have to give that one a try. Thanks for sharing the recipe with us.
When you said that in the morning you have "plenty of care for the day," I thought of it as Kare because you have more of yourself to give after a good night's sleep.
My husband and I were remodeling a bathroom and then his work got really busy. We decided to do everything except the floor. That way when he has time again he can go back to it. Sometimes things just have to wait because life gets in the way. I love your videos. Keep up the great work! Your husband too! 😊
Made another drop to the Food Bank. Garden is still exploding 🎉. Chores done for the day and running wash. Taking a before bed break. My chamomile winters but thyme , rosemary will not in my garden zone. I need to build a cold frame, I guess!
Glad you found your labels. I was wracking my brain as to where I saw you las tuse them. The soup looks delicious, progress on the bathroom is coming along. Good job, Robin! So glad noone was hurt by the mirror. 💜 If you make fairy house pumkins, I'd love to see that. Much love 🌻🍄
HACK for Repacking your Meat to Freeze: Rather than using cellophane to repackage your meat to put into a freezer bag, consider using the very inexpensive fold-top baggies-Not those that zip or anything, but the old-fashioned, fold-top baggies like we used to use in the 1960’s or early 1970’s. They are very inexpensive and very easy to use rather than pulling off and cutting cellophane. You should be able to put any size chicken piece into one. And if you have a piece that is way too large, you can use your cellophane for that piece or cut the piece. Then put the baggied pieces into the freezer bag. I do this for any kind of meat-ground round, smaller chunks of roast-whatever.
It was a lucky guess. I use to babysit my sister kids and after they went to bed i i would Missy tizzy her hours and when she couldn't find something or her husband couldn't they would call me
When I buy hamburger meat, I usually get the biggest one I can afford. I then cook the whole thing and from there I portion it out for the week. I forgot to add it’s a 3lb roll.
Dishes I like the mercy of God. Never ending and new every morning. 😉 But seriously. You do not become a better person, wife, mom, etc. by waking up to a clean kitchen. To me, it is an unessecery burden we put upon ourselves. We compare ourselves with others like when we were teenagers. Oh, she can keep a perfectly clean house all the time and still make all the food from scratch. I have a rebellion against all the demands we put on ourselves. Be slim, pretty, popular, have a good marriage, nice kids, good economy, tidy house, smile and be happy, always be ready to whatever anyone ask of us etc. For me, the newest is tidy the kitchen and whole house every night and scrub the sink to make it shine., It is just as silly as the packed lunch trend some years ago. "The kids need a 100% homemade packed lunch every day. It MUST be at least 10 different items. Some warm, some cold, and a lot of fun shapes. And never the same!"
Been waiting to hear your kind voice today! It’s been a rough one! 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
I’m so sorry you’ve had a rough day!! Big hugs!! 🥰
@@ThisMainerMom Thank you ❤

@@jeanettekvinlaug2772 Thank you for your prayers! The Lord is so good.
I really like the idea of individually wrapping your meat. I wish I knew that sooner. Thumbs up!

Have you watched Bonnie from a beautiful mess fold laundry she does it like an artist 😊
No, I'll have to check it out!!
After watching Bonnie fold all the bedding into little packages I was thinking she needs to give master class. 🤗
@@KlingonPrincess yes lol absolutely
