This is my history of Tekken.. In 2004 i got Tekken 3 i played it for 2 years until it was banned for being too violent..
In 2010 i got Tekken 4 and Tekken 5 and i used to play them both a lot. In 2011 i got Tekken Tag Tournament. In 2014 Tekken Tag tournament 2. In 2019 Tekken 7 and since last month Tekken 8.

Tekken 6 for PSP was pretty much the same game as home console besides story mode. Tekken 5 on PSP was dark resurrections which was an update and only released physically on the PSP, not on PS3

tekken 1 was one of the first games I ever had on the original ps1 , I think it was tekken one and ridge racer , this was when the game boxes were huge plastic cases like a vhs box size almost before they converted to cd style cases

@6:58 This here is a Street Fighter game. I wouldn't consider it to be a Tekken game at all. Tekken 7 released to consoles in 2017, not 2015. That was the vanilla arcade release, which is technically a separate game despite having the same name. The console version is called "Fated Retribution" in arcades. But Tekken 7 (2015) and Tekken 7 (2017) are different games. Same is true for Tekken 6, which released to consoles in 2009. Not 2007. Bloodline Rebellion was the arcade version identical to the consoles, but the only way to play the original 2007 version is to get an arcade (or an emulator) that hasn't been updated. The same thing was done to Tekken 5, with "Dark Resurrection" being the updated version. The subtitle wasn't dropped because the vanilla version of Tekken 5 saw a home console release. You're also missing the PS3 Version of Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection Online.

Tekken 4 is my favourite, I liked that dark theme and realistic atmosphere of that game, it was so unique. Tekken 3 would be right next to it to be my second favourite, it was ahead of its time. all the 3D fighters back then looked terrible and felt so clunky while Tekken 3 was so smooth and fluid. My 3rd favourite would be the original Tekken Tag. I also like Tekken 5 and 6, but honestly I dont really like the emo story on T6 as well as the silly endings and goofy stuff in modern titles hahah :D
