Hi Ben, wow, what an awesome video and commentary of Hallstatt Austria. No worries about the video quality as with all of the natural beauty it is difficult to disappoint. The first Viewpoint was really something to see. It is amazing that they were able to build all of the structures so near the mountains and water. That one Church was really fabulous with the beautiful Steeple and the mountain in the backdrop. The Sun was in the perfect place to see the reflection of the buildings and mountains in the water. The Drone footage added a lot, allowing us to see the scenery from above which adds a whole new perspective. Thanks for all of your efforts to travel, film, narrate and set to music all of the footage from your visit. The music set the perfect mood to enjoy everything about Hallstatt. Hope this video gets 1 million views and likes to repay your time and energy.
Thank you so much again Ben! It certainly is a fairy-tale like place. Glad that all the effort to try capture it in the best way possible has paid off. Unfortunately some of the videos & places just don't seem to get the traction and recognition, but hopefully this one starts climbing soon!
Will be in Hallstatt later this month and have watched so many travel vlogs. Wanted to say that this is by far the nicest video I've seen from anyone visiting Hallstatt!
Magnificantly stunning! Those mountains are amazing! The still waters. The history. Perfect timing. Thank you so much for this romp through a fairytale! :)
Absolutely breathtaking.Love your videos.Everything about them.Shots, music choice ,narration. There is something melancholic, nostalgic about them. The algo recommended your channel when I was looking for something from Tatra mountains & am glad it did.Watched few times. Increased homesickness lol.
Thank you so much, your comment means a lot. I love the music too, helps bring everything to life! I'm guessing you're from Zakopane or nearby? Beautiful place, I can't get enough!
Great video Ben, really enjoyed seeing Hallstatt and great music from Scott Buckley as well. Have liked and subscribed look forward to seeing more adventures Ryan 😀
Stunning Vlog Ben. Has to be one of my favourites. Some of the viewpoints and your drone shots are particularly beautiful shot. I guess how picturesque Hallstatt is helps. 😂 It's definitely on my bucket list now. This video deserves a lot of attention, fingers crossed, it gets the number of views it deserves. Looking forward to next week.
Thanks a lot mate! Really is a stunning place, especially with nobody else around, clear skies and sun! Unfortunately it seems this is going to be one of the videos that flops! See you for Vienna anyway 👋😁
Thanks Ben! I'm thinking of visiting Vienna and Salzburg next summer with my daughters (we're in Chicago). The alpine tour packages were very expensive, but I think I can recreate it for half the price with AirBnB. Your videos are so helpful.
Ther is also the worlds largest ice cavern in the mountain you were looking at. In the village you saw from the sky walk (across the lake, just take the fairy) there is a cable car going there. If you have the time, check it out.
Hi ! Can I ask you what time is the 1st ferry please ? Thank you for your video ! My english is not so bad (well, for a frenchie 😅), but I understand you very clearly, thanks for your sharings !
Thank you! I think it was around 7:30… but in summertime you may be able to get an even earlier train, especially if travelling from Vienna! Just it may be busier that time of year, and likely a longer journey from Vienna (though I’m not too sure). Just get there as early as possible if you can! It’s truly special to have the place (almost) to yourself
I am going here next month. Can’t wait. Also then going to take a trip up to the eagles nest at Berchesgarten. The views are meant to be insane. Looks a scary coach ride to the top tho
Class mate! I really wanted to visit Eagle's nest but I think it only opens up in spring. Are you just visiting Hallstatt on a day trip from Salzburg? Mentioned it in the video a good few times, but it's SO WORTH getting up mega early to have the place to yourself for a couple of hours!
The most stunningly beautiful town in the world with its pleasing combination of God's incomparable handiwork and man's brilliance. Well worth spending the money on staying in one of those fairy-tale houses though ☺️ You might never want to leave! The only thing missing in this presentation is shots of the houses which are literally built into the side of the mountain. I recommend purchasing a Eurail Pass to get around, it's not that expensive and can be used extensively throughout.

13:34 great that you got there super early and saw it without the crowds 👍🏻 and a good walk up the risky path where the sign wasn’t very clear 😉

Fantastic, glad you enjoyed and thanks for leaving a comment. It's all filmed on my iPhone believe it or not! (except for the drone shots of course) 😁

Thank you Luis! I bought the tickets on Omio, you should be able to find them there 😇
