this is the only repair video I found that shows the cracks around the shower drain and how to repair them. It exactly addresses my problem, so thank you very much.
Hi Fmantastic video and helpfull however I would suggest to uninstall the drain completally and let the excess of solution get out of through plug hole. Can you share any websites where I can buy this stuff.
Are fiberglass shower pans more susceptible to cracking in pier and beam houses that inevitebly move a bit here and there? My shower pan just cracked and I heard a contractor say fiberglass pans sometimes will crack on pier and beam houses that move a bit.
Hi , we have a all in one caravan shower cubicle that’s built in with no joints and is very deep sides about 10 inches of depth, can we still use your kit by say masking off towards the bottom of the unit, thanks
Is that a 2 part polyurethane resin you use ? I would buy your kit but it looks like you no longer sell it , is this the case? I have exactly the same problem. Thanks Craig
Hi, does the filler and hardener come in the kit? That wasn’t stated in the video and the website doesn’t mention the individual products that make up the kit.
Hi, sorry for the slow reply. Yes the kit comes with the hardener and filler. We are in the process of updating the product shots now. Thanks for your interest and happy resurfacing! 🙂
Sorry we no longer supply the product ourselves due to Brexit. Find out how you can still get it by visiting this webpage: www.thesurfacesaver.com/diy-resurfacing-kit-order-page 👍
Hello Grant, I’m from the US and was looking at the kits sold here .. I’m not sure if Ekopel kits sold here comes with the crack repair kit. . So my question is does it come with the repair kit.. If not what should I get to repair the crack before I resurface? Thank you

@@GrantTheSurfaceSaver Hello Grant, do you recommend lightly sanding the shower pan? And do you recommend using a primer? And how long does it take for your product to get to the US?
Hi Grant, will the kit deal with a hole in a tray? I have just bought a caravan which has a 50mm crack but also larger area around 60mm long and around 8mm wide which has had a silicone botch. Also there is some flex at the crack location, would you advise to drill and pump in expending foam to provide additional support?
Hi, sorry we are not stocking the kits for the foreseeable future. Our product comes from the EU and new trade barriers have made importing it unfeasible

Hi, sorry for the slow response, we’ve been away on vacation. So we can offer a colour matching service when we do the shower tray resurfacing for customers, but unfortunately it’s not really an option for DIYers to try and colour match their own tray. Hope this helps 🙂
Hi Matthew, thanks for your comment. A repair kit and a resurfacing kit might sound the same, but they are very very different. Spot ‘repairs’ are for trained pros as they are far more challenging than repair kit suppliers would have you believe. Resurfacing with a product like the one in this video is very doable for the average DIYer. Also, The Surface Saver is no longer trading after Brexit made it unviable to source the product from the EU, so this video is free info. Use the information or not, it’s up to you
Wouldn't it be better to chamfer/countersink the drilled jokes do there would be a land area below the finished surface and more surface area to give structural bond to the filler.

Hi, it’s not the cost of the tray, they are pretty cheap. But if the tray is already fitted and to replace it you have to remove the screen, tiles, redo the plumbing and all that, the cost runs into 000’s. If the tray is fitted, it’s definitely more cost and time efficient to resurface it 👍

Why does the title say "no repair kits" if this is using your own repair kit that you sell?

The music is much too loud!
No kit needed then shows u a hit
No repair kits for the kit that kits the kit with the kit therefore no kit being used. No kits were harmed in the filming of this not kit kit.

no repair kit it says:))
'Repair' kits are bad, resurfacing kits are much much better! Thanks for watching and commenting : )
How I can get it in the USA ?
