- With a momentous 2024 election approaching, two of American Jewry’s most prominent social policy thinkers, Rabbi David Saperstein and Dr. Tevi Troy, come together in the spirit of Eilu v’Eilu (principled disagreement) to debate the most contentious topics of our times and explore how to forge a Jewish path to bipartisan cooperation and tolerance. A program of the Temple Emanu-El Streicker Center in New York City.

Listening to Saperstein, I don’t feel like he has much contact with regular Americans outside the narrow, elite corridors of the East and West coasts.
Tevi Troy speaks sense. Saperstein speaks in platitudes.
Hamas used and sacrificed the Gazans in order to gain the condemnation of Israel. That was smart. Would Hamas like to talk about that?
Amazing: it took 25 minutes for the speakers (Tevi Troy) to bring up hate crimes against Jews in this country.
Zionism was a reform.
Always good to hear from two people who aren't affiliated with any government agency, have never held public office, and are making comments based on what they read in the NYT. Talk about worthless rhetoric.
