To most of us Kashmir is a distant place, veiled in mystery, caught up in turmoil. But it is truly heaven on Earth. It is one place I have always dreamt of visiting, specially after viewing the TV serial Gul , Gulshan Gulfaam .I know of Kashmir only through its exquisite wood craft , papier mache handicrafts, the superbly beautiful embroidered shawls and carpets, To own Kashmir's hand crafted pieces was like owning a piece of history..I treasure the wooden trays my mother was given by a friend, who had been stationed in Srinigar in peaceful times. Kashmir also came alive for me in food writer Mariam Reishi's ode to Wazwan, Rogan Josh and Yahni. Now I see a different Kashmiri... having lost its beautiful wood carved homes and replaced by soul less concrete structures. I felt deep sadness on seeing your mother's original home replaced by the present structure...that change is heart wrenching. But what remains to this day, and of utmost importance is that it's people still retain all warmth that is matchless. Long live the people of Kashmir.
I am keenly following your series. It has brought out flood of memories. Reliving my childhood. The lady with whom you were staying was my senior in school. The world is such a small place. I had traveled back in 2007 and was dismayed to see flyover and so much construction. It really broke my heart. But no day passes when I don't think about that lost childhood
Totally beautiful. My dream is to find culture and people beyond comman cultural assumption. And to see the real beauty of the world through the eye of some one who can stay at one place and still has a better vision and thinking than the one like me who want to see the places and can't stay at one place. And your content is just what I need. ❤️❤️❤️
Beautifully executed…grabbed all the emotions..indeed Kashmir is home..last year did KGL…n was I love with every single thing about Kashmir….the roadside garbage or the snow clad mountains… the algae in the dal lake or the beautiful view.. the pink chai…the large windows…everything made me home. And yes have to live all the seasons there.
Always Welcome whenever you visit ....... Here is the playlist of one of the creator that visited this year with subtitles for mid dialogues 👍🏽👍🏽 ruclips.net/p/PLy83Gf9-BFG1CoXESNT8fd99VDUD5B1QH
Stunningly beautiful..So Abhishek finally you succeeded in locating your Ancestral house..No doubt it must've been a difficult job but again where there's a will there's a way...As rightly said that Kashmir is just a home away from home. People seems to be very hospitable and decent..They welcome you with open arms and behave exactly the way they are.. Feeling of enjoyment and happiness sinks not only on first visit but it's when one visits the place again and again..Too good Abhishek....
Hi ✨✨🌿🌿 I think Nature in mountains, beside sea... Reminds one to slow down, breath fullness, n acknowledge self being. For me mountains n Nature is home ❤️✨✨🌿🌿 Thanks for taking there ✨✨😊
I like a sense of tranquility and serenity in your videos. You have given a new aspect to travelling where one doesn't need to rush through. the trip to see more places but get the essence of environment and culture. Truly healing. Great job

Great work Abhishek once again and special mention for Shiv..you both are doing some outstanding work with travel , narration & cinematography. Hope to see you some day, somewhere filming in the mountains. Thanks for this experience..
I can understand why you were interested to do this search. I searched my parents house in uk few years back. It's so much nostalgic going through those lanes n parks. Just one difference- I went there with my mother. Nigeen lake is amazing 👏. Kindly share name of the houseboat where you saw the sunset 🌇
My friend your Kashmir series is beautiful and someday I wish I can experience the same thing. Your vedios, your background score.. Humbleness makes it amazing. Watching your kashmir vedios brings calmness. Keep doing the good work
WOW you went to chaai-jaai!! I don't know how many people know this, but this cafe was also featured in the movie - "Laila-Majnu" - written and directed by Imtiaz Ali and Sajid Ali, starring Avinash Tiwary and Tripti Dimri! ❤❤
This is very different from the usual content available in RUclips! Love the soothing mood created by the visuals. Just one suggestion. Please keep the accompanying music tracks volume a bit low. The sound gets jarring if one set the volume at a level where one can able to hear you properly. Your choice of music track is great 😊
Woow . !! Really beautiful everything !!But y der is not even a glimpse of The Hanumanji Or Shiv mandir (be it in any condition) .. Nd everywhere u hv interacted nd came across only one community people.. What about the original habitants? Aren't they live or work or serve anymore there to be able to fill the frame?

I am new to your channel. Great content. Who holds the camera when you do the long walk and what camera do you use? Just curious. Also, please subtitles in English if possible.
Bro i liked your all series..you are doing great job. I liked kashmiri people and their hospitality . But this is also a fact that particular religion has controlled it now fully so people have developed bit fear. You mom's house for an example is now property of some other religion. Many ancient temple's of Shiva are ruined.. Shaivism started from kashmir but now only few places are left. Looking at all these incidents (including kashmiri pandit movement) ppl from different religions feels bad and dey dont visit or have fear in visiting Kashmir which is a Jannat . Hope all will be fine one day.

Whatever series I see on Kashmir it only shows the good side of it, happy people etc. But no one shows the oppression that these people are going thru. It's never a justice if we only show cherry picked moments of Kashmir. People go there, have fun and just pretend everything is normal. These people were locked for almost 1+ years recently, they were cut off, there is a lot of violence done to them by forces and militants, all this can't be ignored and can't be hide.
