The editing of the tatertots 4:30 didnt go unnoticed! Very cool props to the editor.
Pretty sure Andy was actually just doing that with his mind. One of those special chef skills
Those aren't tater tots
Basic Mitch!
No, Andy is just that fast.
I'd be soooo here for a cooking challenge between Josh and Andy! That would be EPIC
Andy would win hands down.
That would be awesome!
blow this up so he potentially sees this
and Uncle Roger! Now that would be EPIC
@@LolatheACS he's not a real cook
As an Aussie, the jar of vegemite on the shelf was definitely noticed in Joshua’s kitchen.
Thought he needed something Aussie in his kitchen
@@andy_cooks Knew it had to be a plant.... 🤣🤣🤣🤣btw Western Springs, legendary!!!!
I was hoping there was a taste test coming!
Marmite is better 🇬🇧
I like that Andy said Whiskey Business
“Give that some whisky business…” that homage didn’t go unnoticed. 👌
But it didn't need to be brought up by you, though.. quick one you are
@@SuaSponte75 It did.
USA loves you Andy! Thank you for showing the love back. Can't wait for my cook book. *screams bald eagle* & *tips cap to the Andy*
I'm all for USA food... thanks for having me! Hope you love the cookbook.
@@andy_cooksmy apologies, I know you’re from New Zealand, just got caught up in the moment 😅
It's wild how Andy always nails traditional recipes and also makes them better. The dude is an encyclopedia for food.
Just enjoying my usual nice and calm cooking video from Andy when Joshua enters and is just screaming at me 😂
That's a very interesting contrast of personality's there
Haha I love his energy, sometimes you need it in the kitchen
@@andy_cooksamericans are crazy 😂😂😂
I’ve been waiting for this collaboration.
Josh seems so much more chill without the ridiculous editing from his channel.
I had to unsubscribe from him because of it. So annoying.
Man I know right, I wish he did all of his own vids without all the cuts every half a second and all the dumb sounds
I actually think he's somehow more annoying when just being himself
thank you that I'm not the only one!!
I respect the hell out of Josh, his knowledge and all, but I believe tiktok got to his head a bit and the editing just got cringey bad. weird.
hope Andy doesn't go/develop that way
Holy moly. He was nearly insufferable in this appearance, I have never seen him before.
If my enemies read this, they know how to torture me in the future.
Hands down the 2 best food content creators on the planet. I’d love to see more crossovers between you both.
More to come!
Thanks for the speedway shout out in Western Springs. Yes it still happens in summer, yes its still noisy but its a Auckland classic. Love your food
I've been following Andy for a few years now and was blown out that he mentioned Western Springs Speedway. As a kid would attend the races in the 50s and 60s with my dad as we drove up from Hamilton for these Saturday night events. Little did we know our family connection to Western Springs as a whole. It wasn't until the late 80s that we attended our family reunion and the Western Springs school hall that we found out about our family's connection to the whole area. It turns out it was our family's farm and that the stream flowing from the Springs to the bay is even named after our family as well as Mill Road is named after the flour mill we owned and our steam ships moored in our stream took provisions to Thames for the gold miners. The family donated the land for the Zoo where there is a family tree planted to commemorate our family's contribution to the people of Auckland. The donation of land also includes the school and the Motec Museum. The original family home is an historical home in Greylynn but I can't remember where exactly as I only visited it once during the family reunion. So thanks Andy for mentioning Western Springs Stadium.
Loved Chef Andy's dedication to pronouncing these dishes as American as possible.
slick editing at 4:30 with the tater tots - got really hungry watching you fry them out
Andy always hit me with happiness when he open the fridge and bow after he finish, so humble
Buffalo wings, tater tots and corn dogs. Now that's freedom right there 🇺🇸
I lol’d at Joshua just randomly walking behind as his intro into the video!🤣😂
JW is lucky to host someone as talented as you are.
I mean, tbf to Josh, I'd say he is pretty close to talent levels with him. Josh can get a little pretentious with his ingredients though .
@@bingusworshipper My problem with Josh is that he isn’t humble. His most popular content is his showing how much better he is than a teenager working for minimum wage. I also hate that he refers to himself as “Papa”
Josh is super pretentious, I can't stand him
@@jayderiso9758but Andy is the man.
@@charliebrown1828 absolutely, Andy and babbish are my personal authority for RUclips cooks
Andy is very kind and humble. I like that. His mannerism is appropriate. I love and respect both of these two for them to keep it REAL. No fluff no flop! ❤
Huge fan of Andy, it's amazing to see how far his channel has gone. Just a cracked chef and a lovely person!
Love the shout out to old Joshua Weismann videos with the “whiskey business” comment. Subtle but appreciated. Papa will surely kiss
Chef! Your American food looks delicious! You always cook from commitment and the heart. The perfect golden brown for all three dishes, the tater tots are a vision, the wings are picture perfect. Last, but not least, those gorgeous corndogs. Must add the plain yellow mustard is the perfect and only dip (I said what I said) warranted for those dogs! Thank you @JoshuaWeissman for sharing your new food lab and keeping our Andy safe. Much love to Chef and Babe. Thanks to the Crew, great job 👏🏼.
Onions don't belong in Tatter Tots :P
They do if your name is Andy Hearnden, a chef who knows how to make food taste delicious.@@TheMeditron
@@TheMeditronore ida even makes some tater tots with onions(they’re super hard to find, mostly only small grocery stores have them) and they are awesome, I bet Andy’s are way better.
Andy is freaking awesome (as is Josh) ... the fast editing on this video is top notch! Well done!
My two favourite chefs in one video! Well done men. Thanks Andy and Joshua.
The "behind, Behind!" from Josh to Andy has this line cook shook.
so happy to see Andy now in the foodieverse. cant wait to see you with Guga
Can't wait!
The official hot sauce of buffalo wings is Frank's Red Hot. Franks 50/50 with butter is pretty much it.
I was so happy when they started selling Frank's in my local Coles. Authentic buffalo wing taste, plus it goes with everything
Frank's hot sauce tastes like balls. Way too vinegary
Official? Following boring brands makes you sound pretty basic. You must also only use Barilla, Italys number one pasta!
@@GetWardsdoes that have something to do with the sauce?
I also add some worcestershire sauce
Love when folks do joint videos, and of course the kitchen is amazing!
Wow....great ideas 😍😍😍 looks phenomenal! Thank you, thank you! I can't wait to try them
Josh: "I haven't had a corn dog since I was 6". April 4th 2021: Joshua Weissman corn dogs 2 ways video
josh is actually 8, the person you see in his videos is actually one of the editors roleplaying josh the 8 yo
Brother is up to date on the lore
Nice to see Joshua being as we discovered him. Props to Andy to always nail the traditions - like seriously, wt..f?
Fantastic content! Love the collabs!
LOVE the collaboration!!! More, please…
This is my dream team. Love u both guys! My gf got me your books for my birthday, they should arrive around that day (October 11th). Keep rockin!!
Epic. I'm sure you'll be making some good meals for her from them
@@andy_cooks I surely will, Chef!
Proud of you Andy, representing Aotearoa and putting us on a map!
Dude. Love your channel. Appreciate your delivery, very much.
4:30 they edited him adding done ones to the tray while he was talking. thats such an insane amount of editing for 1 second of video lmao that would take me forever to do but it is such a nice touch
lets say he added like 20 tots while he was talking there. they had to go forward and cut/clip the new tray like 20 times AND then add that over the current scene for 1 SECOND of editing lmao kudos editor i see you
I love these colabs between RUclips chefs !!
I know right? Sometimes I’m like i wonder if so and so know eachother and then BAM theres a video of the two together.
@@serial92989 they need to keep doing it
Here in Oregon we have Pronto Pups. The batter is less cornmeal and more sweet cake batter.
Two of my favorite chefs. Awesome
This video is fabulous! You two should do something like this again. Thanks.
Great collaboration. Would love to see Joshua come down to Australia!
no ..
I'm working on it!
As a Buffalonian, you nailed the chicken wings. A lot of places outside of Buffalo coat the wings in flour making them breaded which is 100% awful. For the hot sauce you need Frank's mixed with butter. The only issue is the ranch. Blue cheese is the way in Buffalo.
In my experience for the hot sauce all you need is Frank's, butter, and a bit of vinegar that's it
@@daxc9332 ... Frank's and butter is the original buffalo wing sauce.
Andy likes blue cheese so he's catering to the broader public that prefers ranch. We can give him a pass for the ranch, it's from scratch.
@@jasonw7521 yeah that's what I'm saying
@@daxc9332 ... my bad. I thought you said extra vinegar.
realest chef out there!! LETS GET STUCK IN
So good!! Brill combo and food looked amazing too
Oooh My days Andy just paid homage to Josh's wordings of give that some whisky bizness ✨
Left us hanging with the "golden brown" though lol
When Andy said I prefer ranch the scene from the Godfather popped into my head: "You broke my heart Fredo... You broke my heart!"
😂😂😂
😂 sorry!
amazing job what a great vid !
I love this trend of cooking youtubers doing a collaboration. this is why I don't watch tv anymore. thank you for your work everyone
Everything fried. Truly captures the spirit of America.
😂
Yay!! I use peanut oil all the time when deep frying.
I'm with Mitch, was Pluto Pups out my way in Oz.
Nice to see Andy in America! Corndogs need yellow mustard!
Those corn dogs could stand a UK conversion to a proper British sausage.
You need to sit down.
completely different foods one's a hotdog the other is a sausage in the US sausages and hotdogs are different and UK bangers aren't really liked in the US due to them being a bit bland and not having much seasoning (compared to other sausages) but Italian hot sausages are a big hit in the US.
I’ve been cooking some recipes from the book. I love the book
Awesome. Favourite so far?
@@andy_cooks It would be Muffuletta, Triple-Cooked Chips, Reuben Sandwich and Buttermilk Pancakes with Crispy Bacon & Whipped Butter. That’s some of my favorites but everything on the book looks amazing. I’m still learning and looking for the ingredients so I can cook it next time.
This is epic!!!!!
I love everything about this episode...
❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Brilliant video Andy,
I'm laughing so hard because if Andy isn't imitating an American accent. My closed captioning is messing up what he's saying cuz it doesn't speak Australian 😂
GUGA X ANDY COOKS X UNCLE ROGER COLLAB PLS
These collabs are awesome
I’ll be making that French onion soup this week Andy. thanks so much love your videos, Love You’re Recipes
There's nothing quite like a NZ speedway hotdog, Andy!
dagwood dogs don't have the corn batter like a proper corndog. It's more like a cake batter or something.
Joshua Weissman: I haven't had a corn dog since I was like 6.
His "Making The Perfect Corn Dog (Korean vs. American)" video: Am i a joke to you?
Love both of these guys!!!!
Now you need some apple pie and peach cobbler and you have an invite to almost any American household!
Great dishes! good idea for next time in the US
U need to call Uncle Roger to collaborate 😂
Uncle Roger says this person is real noodle.
great collab chef! love your videos
Thanks for watching
I need to cook some corndogs right now. Thank you chefs for sharing those recipes, everything was amazing.
As an American, when I go to Europe they always make wings wrong. I am so impressed with how you did from the Ranch to the Buffalo sauce! Well done
Buffalo wings only get blue cheese
@@destinedtogame that's an opinion (50/50 at that), even in America as you well know.
@@patrickpet7905 I'm speaking from from someone married into Buffalo. I've been to both the places said to create the Buffalo Wing. They serve blue cheese and mock those who ask for Ranch.
@@destinedtogame I'm afraid you lost me. The poor grammar caused me to not know what you are talking about.
@@patrickpet7905 basically I have been to Buffalo, New York. The place where Buffalo wings are from. I have been to both restaurants where the wings are sought to come from. They don't serve ranch. Sorry to confuse your non-existent brain
Anyone else find irony in how all 3 American fishes are deep fried? 😂
Looks very tasty though!
I'm loving all your collabs!
Love this!
I would kill to eat well made buffalo wings every day. I'd also die if I couldn't ever eat them. I think a 'perfect food' is something like that. Ranch and celery to garnish, and then later throw away without ever touching. A fantastic food for eating with drinks while watching sports. I wish restaurant food prices weren't so bad nowadays, tater tots or any kind of fried potato is amazing with buffalo wings, but it's like an extra 10 bux to add them as a side.
Funny how every American dish he picked is fried, seems about right😅.
Makes sence Southern Food it’s where all the few Brits settled in particular Scot’s 😂😂 they love to fry everything Mars Bars, Pizza
@@chazzerbox131 There could be some truth to that, there are recipes for deep-fried chicken in Britain that predate the earliest American recipes by almost a century and the Scots in particular were known to fry chicken rather than to bake it as the English typically did.
As with most classically American foods, they are really just versions of what the immigrants brought with them.
Pre ordered your book, it came about 3 weeks ago. Awesome book and the recipes are amazing!
Awesome! Thank you!
Oh my goodness! My two fav chefs in one kitchen🥰🥰🥰
Andy is a real chef not a tv/cookbook " chef" His host is overrated.
Joshua is a real chef too?
Joshua is a real chef, YOU’RE NOT!
you are awesome Andy, I always have to watch your vids while I'm eating though haha
Love this collaboration!!!
Love it! And love the timing with Texas state fair!!
I love this!!
Two amazing chefs, what a video!
I love Joshua!! He is a hilarious and down to earth guy who always makes me laugh when I watch his videos! I just watched him with you at the beginning of your Austin BBQ tour! I love going to Austin to visit my sisters and I always grab some grab BBQ while I'm there❤❤
How does someone not like blue cheese? There's so much flavor in it!
The cooking collab the world needed right here.
Good old western springs. That place brings back a lot of memories
Great video. Funny how you were worried about keeping Josh's new kitchen clean. The corn dog recipe my family uses add 1/4c honey. I add parmisanio to the tots very tasty flavor.
Gotta have the honey batter!
Definitely the best collab in cooking RUclips
That looks so good!!!!
"Ive got an american accent all of a sudden"... i feel that. I happen to adjust my accent on the people that surround me. Love the vid again. Cheers lad. Love the content
Thanks legend
Love the collabs with JW! Great work Andy no team
I LIVE RIGHT NEXT TO WESTERN SPRINGS SPEEDWAY AND ITS STILL GOING ANDY. love the vid and food looks amazing 🔥🔥
The sauce for the wings should have been Blue Cheese. They look good regardless!
Haha love hearing the western springs shout out. Used to go to MOTAT as a kid
2 of my fave cooking channels together?! what a day!
Super lovely one guys!
So amazing.
Sharing all this techniques and knowledge with those barbarians.
You have a heart of gold.
fr its so nice that america is sharing its superior food with the rest of the world
Love these vids with you 2 together
Such a riff on America.. I love it!!!!
Because they have fun with it..!!!!!!
Well done, Chef! I'll be saving this video for those recipes!
Thanks mate!
