IIRC a sub-plot was how Alfred was kind of an outcast and was torn between being what he wanted and what his father wanted him to be. It came to a head when he found out what the BGs were going to do to Tristen and he had to make his choice.

Tristan was a difficult and eccentric main character in his own story, and there was nothing Alfred could do or say to escape his brother's shadow. In the end he chose family, even though everyone around him continued to be infatuated by Tristan. A difficult path to walk for a man with the type of pride Alfred's character possessed. wow, when I saw this movie I was very interested in the general arc of the story and until the moment of this scene I could say that the movie was pretty good, but this scene was totally unexpected because of the dramatic ending and the special connection that the men in this family they had when it came to defending their lives killing their enemies and staying together as a family, this is one of my favorite movies because of the message it has: family union in the face of all adversity, and man, this family went through problems and sadness but at the same time end all were united, EXCELLENT MOVIE 😃😃
