- As promised I came back to show you the BEST Leopard in War Thunder. A prototype 4 second autoloaded L/44 cannon strapped to a 1500 horse power engine making it not only a tank... but a full blown race car!
This is the PT-16/T-14 mod. and it's absolutely incredible how good it is!
Now we just need the teams to back it up! :)

Moments like this make me repeatedly wonder why is PT16/T14 9.7. I've had this moments a regularly, playing this tank. On some maps it is able to wipe out more then half of enemy team in 10-15 seconds. T-80BV on 10.0, Challenger mark 2 and 3, ZTZ96A are examples of tanks on these BRs, and it is significantly more difficult to make them perform so good.

@@AltoTheWarlockit’s literally cuz of the mobility and reload with the games map design format completely catering to tanks like this. irl this ovbiously is a huge advantage, but way less significant when you put what type of thermal and aps, chemical protection technology modern tanks have. This tank should be shit on paper, but it succeeds from the same effect it has as the DF105. The ability to flank before everyone else can position themselves with a good reload is every tanks weakness in this game. All they gotta do is learn the map and form a plan for the tanks route and you can easily score 7+ kill games with a tank that has nothing but good mobility and reload.

Fun fact, the rangefinder on the Pt-16/T14 is an electro optical rangefinder, that is near the speed and precision of a LRF, but without emitting anything that can be detected by LWR.

Nothing beats squeezing onto the capture point in a Wiesel and staying there the entire match without anyone finding you
i had a teammate in a l3/33 with bushes go into the town cap on frozen pass. They kept looking confused and I told them it was the glitched crashed plane on the roof. "Known bug." they went "ahh man, typical gaijin crap" as the little l3/33 sat there the entire mission holding the cap.

if you get single cap breslua where the cap is in the middle island, you can hide in the church, most tanks cant fit in the gap, and if they try you can shoot them and just attach your tow to their corps. Ive won 3 games, where my team melted but the enemy couldnt find me. One game a t44 tried to come in, didnt know which way to face hit turret, he turned it to the left, i was in a jumbo, shot him, attached the rope and anchored myself to a corner as the others tried to pull his tank. Luckily i didnt get bombed.
The grind for this event Leo was mind numbing and soul melting, but dear God I love this thing, so worth the pain.
I got the Swedish meme machine that was the low tier reward, even that thing was a nightmare to get
I just bought my way through it dont have the time to grind lol spent more time working making money than playing that event lol i love being a wallet warrior
@blakeeissens6245 it's like half of a workday for a good amount of people, so it's not exactly too crazy if you have disposable income
definitely beats fucking agonizing through the grind but fuck gaijin for making it so awful to grind

Odd’s tutorials are the only reason my CAS game has improved as much as it has. Can’t practice if you don’t know what you’re doing wrong.
@@LugborG CAS takes alot of skill to do well, but damn is it rewarding when you learn it. You can ALMOST save games sometimes. But it doesnt matter because as Odd also teaches, winning doesnt matter; fun does. You dont need to win to have fun.

These things are a menace whenever I see them. Not only is the tank spectacularly good (30 hp/ton, reverse gearbox, SPAA-level turret mobility, AND amazing firepower), but everyone who has one is an expert at the game.

@@princessapplestrach6327 I'm using the T-72 a, T-64 a, Sprut, Shilka and the Strela; all of which are 9.3 and lower.

I was playing this tank as a backup to my flakradpz. I killed two T80 BVMS from the front with no turret rotation, and the right track gone.. needless to say, this thing is amazing.
How cool would it be if you could press a button that would make your entire crew focus on replenishing the first stage ammo rack? Kindof like repair, but it quickly refills the first stage.
would make pt76-57, bagelpanzer, 2s38 more op

I guess the closest in the tech tree is the Leopard 2K and I love the 2K so much... It has almost everything the PT has, except the auto loader. Therefore it has laser rangefinder (I guess) and quite trolly armor. And a 20mm on top of it!
This reminds me of the m22 video. How powerful good mobility is with a player that knows how to use it.
Odd! Spaghetti high command has a challenge for you should you choose to accept it. You need to stealthily cap a point at a higher BR (your choice) and hide from the enemy. You will be provided with Italy's most capable stealth tank, the L3/33 CC. Bushes are optional. Godspeed.

Love your vids man. I’m pretty new to war Thunder and you’re one of the only channels I watch for the game.
If you want to get into planes I recommend Defyn, he and bawz did a vid where defyn flew aircover for him being on the ground.

@@Forever02 Planes can get frustrating as soon as you climb in ranks, different nations tend to have a different design philosophy nd different plane types do different things as well, similar to with tanks but it being a 3 dimensional arena it affects gameplay way more. I main tanks myself, I can recommend giving ships a go as well. If you want to play someday let me know and good luck!

@@Forever02Brits and Japs are great at dogfighting, Japs being a bit squishy and slow, Germans and Americans lean more towards boom n zoom, the Soviets are a bit all over the place. As of now the soviet and us trees are the most viable late game, Germany is a pain from 6.0 to 10.3 I think, Japan and sweden have some good planes. No clue about France and Israel though.
Defyn has a beginners playlist, strongly recommend it before going serious. :)

I vividly remember the grind for this thing singlehandedly sucked the fun out of WT for me and it took almost six months after putting the game down upon earning this leo for me to feel like coming back to the game. Glad the tank is strong i guess, but MAN the grind for that event was so incredibly miserable
The PT-16 is one of those vehicles I’m quite devastated with myself for not getting. Also that MI-28 looks like a decent heli for Sweden.
This vehicle is available though, if you're not a poor guy.
~200 are on sale on the Gaijin marketplace. I'm waiting to sell mine so I can have premium time for years. Not selling it under 150 GJN.
I sold mine to trade for an M8 AGS back when they were about the same price. Don't regret it.

A little challenge I thought up: try killing a 5.0 tank or above with the Swordfish, but using a torpedo.

and yet when the AI use the Gepard in air battles it is literally the most OP vehicle in existence, same thing for Helicopter PVE with how broken the Gepard AI is right now in those battles

yup its been almost 2 years since we got the chance to get this Leo and then we got another Leo not to much after this one. Thermals are just a crutch for us blind people I remember people saying this tank wasnt that good back when it came out and it was sold for like cheap gaijin money on the market.

Wait how the hell do you have a laser rangefinder when in the modifications you only have a rangefinder so it shouldn't adjust automatically
I actually despise these Rat-28A Helis. Sits at just the perfect BR where it'll often face AA that come nowhere near its own weapons systems and has a BS damage model when it does get hit.
This is just a better Type 90 or Type 10 solely because of its BR. Paper armor, excellent mobility, fast reload, decent shells. The Type 90 and 10 do have thermals though and have enough composite to stop most HEAT-FS shells but against darts which you face most of the time, death. Especially with 3 crew members.
That SHT run was pretty good man don't be too hard on yourself.

First vehicle I bought in wt. It is excellent. I would argue the Japanese type 90s/tkx are just as good.
I have this tank and the AGS, and have 2000+ kills in both of them and let me tell you..! AGS is way better IMO
This tank used to be my FAV until I gave the AGS a chance and now my M1a2 SEP is actually a back up for the AGS
its my main gripe with both of them is that the autoloader has only 8-9 shells and reloads the ready rack VERY slowly
AGS is also cheaper on the market. GET IT!!
No smoke, no thermals and no armour are legitimate downsides, but that autoloader and mobility make up for it pretty well
Ah, yes. I remember the soul crushing grind needed to get this tank. And I still haven't even played it once 😅
Challenge time: the Japanese A7M2 has unguided air to air rockets. See if you can shoot down a plane with them. Technically still day 5.
my fav leo in the game is the C2A1 that i unfortunately do not have but i do have the 2AV.

It is exactly the same as Leo 1A5 or A1A1 L44, but a bit slower.
The MEXAS add-on armour does provide no protection, beside luring hostiles to shoot your turret cheeks where nothing is behind.

Odd, have you played the M4A3 (76) W since the drone age update? It got its 500 hp engine back and new, better gear ratios for its transmission. Very good acceleration. Perhaps my favorite 5.7 medium right now.

thermals dont matter that match... cause playing 8.3 vs China that could spot you from yr spawn behind 4 bushes, or playing ussr 8.3-9.7 where there are no thermals its very nice while everything is faster and got thermals...
