When you have to give a Lesson on why it’s funny… but fr though, I greatly appreciate this, I’m a native speaker, but relearning it like this really helps me hone my speaking skills.
It's a nice choice to freshen the classroom atmosphere. Puns are fun and mixed with mnemonic technique would be utilized to enhanced learners vocabulary learning ability and scaffold them to think critically, brighten their vision, enlighten their thoughts ;in addition, to equipped language learners with abilities which could expedite their learning rate and farther their route. Since pun is a tool to teach language pupils build their abilities and help them pave the path to be more autonomous learner, cultural differences need to be taken into account. Due to the nature of PUN which can be culture bound and prevails deeper facets of language, language learning, and teaching. The teacher who uses pun need to be cautious about cultural differences and what might be funny in English or another language could potentially be an insult to another learner. To sum up, using pun recklessly without teaching learners to appreciate differences and develop tolerance toward understanding varidness not only does not help them but also could be detrimental to their learning.
