Absolutely amazing city. It's unique, different to any other city, it mixes the beauty and the gritty in those newer Soviet apartments, but beautiful in those historical buildings. The surroundings and the sightseeing makes it unique. It's already a beautiful city but it has so much potential!! And yes it has a San Francisco - Oakland vibe. The Bay Area in California has a particular mix between the posh and the tough rough neighborhoods. Just below and beside Pacific Heights you have the Tenderloin, North Beach was tough as well. Gentrification changed S.F. and now homelessness and decay changed it even more. Vladivostok is on the ascendence, and it has much more different things to explore and expand. Great video !!!!!!🤗👍
It is not necessary to compare the cities of Russia and the cities of the USA. This is a completely different level. Frankly speaking, there is much more dirt in the USA than in Russia.

Hello Lisa and greetings from the USA. Thank you for the tour. I feel as if I had my own personal tour with an attractive Russian girl. Vladivostok isn't dirty enough to be compared to San Francisco.
Absolutely incredible! I watched the entire video from beginning to end. You're a natural tour guide, Lisa. Your knowledge of Vladivostok is truly remarkable. Totally amazing video. I could feel your great happiness as you gave us an intimate tour of your beautiful and historic home of Vladivostok. You let us see so much of you in this video which made it such a personal experience. So cool. I was in awe of the power and beauty of the trans Siberian train station. I am so looking forward to your train video. Poka Poka Beautiful Lisa. 🤍💙❤😍
That was VERY beautiful!! One of your best, if not the best video to date! From start to finish! I can understand it took a lot of editing but you did an excellent job, you can be proud of yourself! I saved as many locations as i could find, and interest me, on Maps 😊 Vladivostok has been a dream for me for many years, but it was because of the ambitious Trans-Siberian journey that i wanted to make! It wasn't for the city, because i had not looked into the city much, if at all. Your video changed that! Now i fell in love with the city as well 😊 Also, as a greek that lives in a coastal city built on a hillside, i can relate) i too grew up like this, from climbing to the top of my city hills, to "all the streets leading to the sea" 😉 Thank you for this and for all your work! 💜
I am glad you can watch the whole thing 😅 I could not make this video shorter because I wanted to include all locations, trans Siberian trip is coming next

Hi Lisa! I truly enjoyed the tour of Vladivostok 😊. Very well done! 😎 Thank you for sharing your beautiful home town with its breathtaking views and its blend of Russian and Asian cultures. It was an amazing virtual experience! 🤩❤️
Love watching your videos and learning about Russia, the far East, life in Moscow, and your apartment renovations, lol! Thank you for the knowledge! большое спасибо!
I thoroughly enjoyed this video of Vladivostok! I've been here before with other vloggers. This was nice to see from you who is from here & loves it. Gorgeous heavy strong buildings seem to be everywhere in Russian cities. Thank you for epic sights & cool music.
Very cool video! You've managed to violently (but pleasantly) excavate a lot of old memories. Two stories for everyone in return: 12:36 This place looks so different. I don't think I ever learned the proper name for this plaza. I remember wandering around here in the rain looking at the statues and the harbor. I think Russian Pacific Fleet Headquarters building was originally here, or very close by? I am out of the loop but I believe it was moved across the bay (Ussuriyskiy?) to Fokino. A Russian man walking through here passed by my group, and started talking to us in pretty good English. He took us to his nearby apartment, which must have been VERY close to where Lisa took this video. Maybe a little closer to where the train tracks are? I remember it being a big, run-down old building with the front door to the apartment right on the street at ground level. He was quite an entrepreneur, and ended up selling us a bunch of old Soviet badges and medals, some of which I still have. At one point, he gave us this huge grin and said something like "Don't worry, I'm not KGB, just a collector." We all laughed. Nervously. 2:55 LOL, since Lisa has given us this beautiful close-up of the Marshal Krylov, let me tell a bit about him. (Russian naval vessels are generally considered to be "male", whereas British/American ships are referred to as "she") M.Krylov is technically a "missile telemetry ship", meaning he is supposed to track ballistic missile launches with that gigantic spherical radome amidships, and the second one aft from the 2018 refit. In practice, he's a spy ship. I'm pretty sure I first met Krylov on the high seas at one of the annual COBRA GOLD exercises down in Thailand. He used to show up at just about all the Pacific Rim exercises. Again, out of the loop, don't know if he still does. What he would do is show up, lurk a few nautical miles away, and *watch everything*. At the end of the exercise, they would generally do something swashbuckling like coming in close and radioing our flagship on Bridge2Bridge something like "Please give our regards to your Captain, Colonel and Commodore, Bravo Zulu." Referring to the captain of the ship, colonel of the USMC MEU, and commodore of the squadron/task force. By name. In perfect English. Proving that Russians were internet trolls before there was much of an internet. 🤣 Thanks Lisa.

I really enjoy the enthusiasm and expression in your voice throughout your videos though…. I think that your enthusiasm and expression are what most attracts me to your channel every few days.
The city does look like San Francisco . Very beautiful. I was hoping for a while that someone will do a vlog about Vladivostok and got so excited that I stumbled upon your vlog. If I get to choose to visit one, and only one Russian city, I'll have to choose Vladivostok. The reason being, it's the only warm water port in the Russia Far East Asia. Also when I was a kid I read in an American magazine how China ceded the territory to Imperial Russia back in the old days and that history really fancinated me. If I go to visit Asia again, I definitely will make a detour to Vladivostok for sure. One last thing , the beauty of Russian ladies, IMHO, has no comparison. I have met a few fellow students/Russian women friends from Novosibirsk during my college years . Thank you so much for showing around your city and please keep up the good work.

Cheers to you Lisa from Croatia. Btw I'm planning to move to Russia and Vladivostok is my goal!!! 🇷🇺🇭🇷
Oh really ⛅️🛳 I wish you can do it if it is your dream!
@@lisa_with_love tnx, somehow the notion of the European city in the heart of Asia is tempting for me 😎 Keep up the good work, I love your channel ♥
Wow, move to Tucumcari, more interesting...
Здесь очень холодно зимой!
If you move to Vladivostok - feel free to contact me, I'm local and I could help with some cases.
Wow that looks cleaner and nicer than Los Angeles and New York
Like the most cities of Russia;-)
It is not necessary to compare the cities of Russia and the cities of the USA. This is a completely different level. Frankly speaking, there is much more dirt in the USA than in Russia.
@@Сергей-ы8в8п чего? Владивосток не считается каким-то супер пупер городом у нас в Приморье). Это обычный город, даже маленький запердышь Уссурийск по чистоте такой же, как и Влад, как и другие). Не надо тут).

I was amazed by the scenery and the views from Tiger Hill (which does look similar to San Francisco). The history is quite fascinating. I could tell you enjoyed producing this documentary. Thank you for sharing your experience and travels with us. You have a such a talent for this type of content. Have a great day! 🌻💮🥀 🙂
Great that you watched till the end! I was scared to publish such long thing... but I could not make it shorter because I wanted to include all places 🤗
I see Vladivostok has a touch of European and Asian like, the food and architecture.. Thanks Lisa for all the videos of the city. Very educational..

Go Russia!!!❤❤❤ One day I would love to visit this beautiful country. 🎉🎉🎉
thank you for showing Russia. it is a very clean and beautiful city. much much cleaner than Vancouver Canada.
And yet nobody wants to move there, but they do want to move to Vancouver. You should ask yourself why.
@@patty109109 you sound angry. why? it is a fact that their street is cleaner and nicer people overall.

I'm from BC too, and I like to follow the Western vloggers that have moved to Russia from Canada, the US, Australia, France, Britain - there are literally dozens of them, showing diverse aspects of life in Russia. Yes, moving to Russia is a thing. Haven't seen any tent cities full of zombified addicts like in Vancouver's Lower East Side. I think you maybe the victim of US propaganda.@@patty109109
you are great tour guide Lisa! Vladivostok is such beautiful vibrant port city. the view from atop Tiger Hill is incredible. the Zolotoy Bridge is majestic. the view from Nagorny Park is breathtaking. when you sat on the edge of the old abandoned boat on Russian Island, i immediately thought that it would make a great postcard pic. you are a real chopstick pro! great vid! you are the perfect Vladivostok ambassador Lisa!
Thank you so much for your kind words! There are not so many videos about Vladivostok on the internet, this is my impact I hope more people will learn about Vladivostok and will visit it 🤗
@@lisa_with_love you are welcome. you are very talented. the quality of your cool vids is impressive. your vids have great impact. keep it up Lisa!👍

Hi Vasilisa . Yes I watched to the end. It was the best vlog ever. I love your taking us on a tour of the place you know so well. Vladivostok is an amazing city. You looked so proud and happy to show it.
You were looking beautiful yourself too.
Good job, miss Lisa!👏 Thanks for filming this long gorgeous video and show us in that impressing town from the local's eyes!😉👍

Your old video about Vladivostok was how I became aware of your channel. I am fascinated by this city on the far side of the Pacific from where I live in Seattle. I would like to visit someday, so a lot of good pointers in here.

Wow what an epic video! The city council of Vladivostok should really use your video as the official tourism video!
hello! I enjoyed making it because I visited my favourite spots! Good for me and good for a video 😆
That was VERY beautiful!! One of your best, if not the best video to date! From start to finish!
I can understand it took a lot of editing but you did an excellent job, you can be proud of yourself!
I saved as many locations as i could find, and interest me, on Maps 😊
Vladivostok has been a dream for me for many years, but it was because of the ambitious Trans-Siberian journey that i wanted to make! It wasn't for the city, because i had not looked into the city much, if at all. Your video changed that! Now i fell in love with the city as well 😊
Also, as a greek that lives in a coastal city built on a hillside, i can relate) i too grew up like this, from climbing to the top of my city hills, to "all the streets leading to the sea" 😉
Thank you for this and for all your work! 💜
I am glad you can watch the whole thing 😅 I could not make this video shorter because I wanted to include all locations, trans Siberian trip is coming next

Hello! I am glad to share with all of you! You can virtually be my friend and see my town! Thanks for donation 🎁🌷
The view from Tiger Hill looks almost like the view from Telegraph Hill in San Francisco.
Yes? That's pretty cool 💖
Thanks LIsa, what a lovely long video going round your home town.I couldn't have wished for anyone better to show it to us. You are so articulate and you look so perfect, smart and stylish as always ❤

VLADIVOSTOK IS A VERY BEAUTIFUL AND PEACEFUL CITY TO LIVE IN .I'M FROM RIO DE JANEIRO BRAZIL BUT I WOULD LIVE IN VLADIVOSTOK FOR REST OF MY LIFE.
Yeah... San Francisco... 😳 Actually, before you mentioned it, I mentally associated Vladivostok with it. 😃👍 That's a very interesting city Lisa, with its contrast just like every other big city in the planet, however the visit was so pleasant with you. Sparsiva ❤🙏😊

Love watching your videos and learning about Russia, the far East, life in Moscow, and your apartment renovations, lol! Thank you for the knowledge! большое спасибо!
Владивосток смотрит ❤️
I thoroughly enjoyed this video of Vladivostok! I've been here before with other vloggers. This was nice to see from you who is from here & loves it. Gorgeous heavy strong buildings seem to be everywhere in Russian cities. Thank you for epic sights & cool music.
Very cool video! You've managed to violently (but pleasantly) excavate a lot of old memories. Two stories for everyone in return:
12:36 This place looks so different.
Thanks Lisa.
Штаб на том же месте, только снимать там нежелательно. Если заметят, то попросят прекратить съемку. Шпионить наши моряки не разучились 😜👍
You did a great job showing your hometown, didn't know Vladivostosk was so beautiful. I liked it so much that now you have another new subscriber. Best of luck to you as well and looking forward to seeing more of your videos.
My grandpa lived there, but it's the first time when I see Vladivostok as well. Thanks to Lisa.

I hope so too! Wish you can do it 👌👍
You are a real gem Lisa. This is great tourist guide for Vladivostok. So many interesting places, informations. I like it a lot. Thank you very much.
This was a fantastic city tour Lisa. I can tell your putting in a lot of work on your video's, the quality is constantly improving. I seem to like a lot of your music choices, any chance that you post a little bit of your playlist/artists in the information section.
What a beautiful beautiful city! I wish I was there. I especially wish I was there when I was younger so I could jog up those hills. PS You have such awesome hypnotic eyes. - Arizona, USA
Lisa that was 10/10 video. All your videos are interesting but you present them so well..I was surprised to see the Czar Nikolai II commemorated though. Its right i think too..Lets hope very soon Vladivostok can have Zara again.I noticed at about 27.55 someone wrote "Khuye Voyne"i think that means something like"screw the war" or something ruder?I hope the FSB dont see it!
Про войну, вы все правильно поняли😂. КГБ в курсе, ничего не сделает этому художнику 😂😂😂
An epic video! I especially enjoyed day 3 when you shared your adventure with Natasha. She seemed comfortable being filmed and her English was great if that was her voice narrating part of that day.
Too see Vasilisa 🇷🇺 the Russian Princess in that black elegant top when it was sunny, she looked 🔥. The only piece missing was a floral skirt. Thank you 🇷🇺 Princess 👍
I already had some interest in checking out Vladivostok, but now I feel I could easily spend a week or more there without getting bored. Your love for your hometown really came across in the video. Great work!
