In the picture of Frank with all the puppet parts I noticed something!! 36:49 All of the puppet pieces (upon closer inspection) are all Frank! You can make out his torso and his bow tie in there several times, therefore, Wally was probably planning on getting Frank off the show (one way or another) to replace and or rebuild him with the left over Frank pieces.
This is a very interesting project. I am very curious about where the story of this project could go. I have something I would like to talk about that I haven’t seen anyone else mention. First off, I’m in the category that believes Wally is the victim of whatever is happening. The villain of the show is either Home or a third party. Since we don’t know who it is yet I’ll simply refer to them as ‘the evil.’ It is quite possible that something happened to the other neighbors since Wally as of now seems to be the only one in existence. Now for my observation, let’s just say that the other neighbors are gone. The evil possibly got rid of them. There is that one GIF that cycles through the faces of each neighbor. Now what I haven’t seen people talk about is the order of when the neighbors appear: Barnaby, Frank, Eddie, Sally, Poppy, Howdy, Julie and then it lingers for a bit on Wally. Now going with the theory, that the evil is eliminating the others, I think it’s possible the order they appear on the GIF could be the order they went. Barnaby: From information we get on the site, Wally seems to learn things from Barnaby, and I’d imagine that they spend the most time together. For this, the evil chose to eliminate Barnaby first along with the evil possibly being real sadistic and taking out the best friend first. Frank: As the smartest neighbor, Frank would most likely be the one to notice something going on. The evil eliminates him before this can happen. Eddie: Eddie I would imagine is the closest to Frank, along with Julie, so I think he would notice Frank’s absence. Julie would probably just think that he was just busy studying/catching butterflies, but not Eddie. While Eddie is known to be forgetful, he’s not dumb. Without Frank, Eddie would definitely feel that something is up. Being a mailman he could possibly use letters to warn the remaining neighbors. The evil can’t have that happen so they eliminate Eddie next. Sally: Now Sally is a bit different. There’s a theory out there that Sally escaped home into the outside world. Going off this theory, I would think Sally noticed the absence of three neighbors. While not knowing exactly what Sally realizes that something bad has been going on. Not wanting to risk whatever it was happening to her, she leaves Home. Now Sally is out of the way. Poppy: With half of the neighborhood gone, being the frazzled bird she is she would too would be onto the fact of something happening and would want to warn everyone else. Goodbye Poppy. Howdy: Howdy of course notices almost no one coming to his bodega anymore. While he rarely seen outside of his bodega, the evil couldn’t risk him warning the last two neighbors. Howdy is out. Julie: Of course being the cheerful and optimistic girl she is, Julie probably wouldn’t suspect anything, at least until there are less and less neighbors around. With it just being her and Wally, left a scared and upset Julie would want to tell her good friend. But the evil eliminates her before she gets the chance. Now poor Wally is the only one left in the neighborhood other than Home. Whatever the evil decides to do with him, only time will tell. That’s just my speculation.
I have a super out-there theory that the puppets are actually "haunted" by the puppeteers that controlled them or the show actually comprised of humans, like in Mr. Roger's Neighborhood, but they were cursed to become puppets and had their memories erased Beauty-and-the-Beast style as a metaphor for being controlled. (That is why they're not quite sure where they came from. Especially Eddie who seems to be having trouble remembering something.) Also, something tells me that Wally was maybe the director of the show, but became possessed by Home and started having the actors pretend to be people that they were not. Also, even more out-there: Home is Clown. UPDATE: I was only half-way through the video when I said that and I didn't realized that you proposed that theory as well. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one! :D
Adding on to the theory about Wally, doing something to Barnaby: notice on the page where you meet, the neighbors, Barnaby’s description is written in past tense
A few fun facts •Wally eats with his eyes •On all the charter discription its all pastencs(like was) but on wally's it present(like 'is') Eddi and frank are canon and married aparently • on the books where franks head was spining the other two books said "i'm you'r neighbor" "i felt you"

Such a relief to finally find a Welcone Home Theory so comprehensive!🥹😂 I've been absolutely scouring everything in its official narrative, and I'd like to share some of those details with you two, hopefully you can get an updated theory out soon.😊 For Starters, Zee is correct, there are two Wallys - one with Red Eyelids, and one with Blue. Who does what and when is still unknown. Considering that Clown intends for the Theme of Mental Health being relevant to the plot, I would guess Wally may have a Split Personality. Home may be an Projection of that Alternate Personality, but Audio of Beautiful Dreamer confirms Home is very real. Barnaby may also have a Red/Blue mode as well, since there are both red and Blue Pawprints around his house. These Alter Modes might be a Conversion Process, since Wally paints Barnaby's red paws blue. Adding to Zee's theory about Axis Mundi, I would also proposs that Home is a Panopticon, A Prison Watchtower observing the Neighborhood in all directions, at all times. Home's placement makes it obvious, but I personally noticed Home actually has two blind spots. The order in which Home's eyes dary about is as follows: He looks straight up at Julie Joyful's House first, then straight out at us, and leads on to Eddie's Post Office, Howdy's Bodega, Poppy's Barn, then finally Barnaby's Dog House. When Home returns to looking at Julies' house, he struggles to look up at either corner of his eyes - Sally Starlet and Frank Frankly's houses are unobserved by Home, they are in Home's Blind Spots. As to why Frank and Sally are exempt, I have only a Guess: Sally is a literal Star and has no other Home but Home, and Frank is an Entymologist (a Bug Scientist, Frank has framed specimens in his house) and has a real reason as to stay in Home, therefore is not prioritised for Home to spy on. Those two houses flank Julie Joyful's House, and I do have a theory with evidence as to why that is. I definitely have more observations and theories to share, but in another comment after this. What do you guys think of this extra info so far?
This is quite honestly spectacular, there are a lot of things you mentioned that we missed here! We didn't catch the red eyes/blue eyes with our observations but funnily enough Zee did illustrate the "evil" Wally concept with red eyes! Also, Barnaby's pawprints stood out to us more with the red/blue but we never really noticed the possible significance with how Wally paints Barnaby's paws blue! The whole concept with Home acting as a panopticon is incredible, can't believe it completely flew over our heads! Especially with how Home's eyes move around the screen to look at the other houses aaaaa We'd love to hear more theories, we are thinking of making a follow up video with more theories and observations as well! Is it alright if we use this comment in that video? ^^ (We'll also try our best to make an update video once the project updates as well!)
@@KoffeineYT @Koffeine Feel free to use any and all these pieces as you wish, I just love to enthuse about these things!😁👍 The most obvious clue to the Eyelids is in the Gallery Photos: Wally sleeps on the Pillow-Cake and holds the Cup with Red Eyelids; Wally then talks to Frank about having difficulty frowning with Blue Eyelids - the Artwork shows Wally with Blue Eyes from that point on. The Artwork in the Gallery is organized in a "Chronological Order of Thematic Relevance" as in the arrangements suggest a Conversion from Red to Blue, whatever that's supposed to mean, but also that Early Concepts are commingled with published Ads and cards, etc. However there is a Story about Frank and Julie. So much so. I wrote notes.🤓 The Gallery Images are 53 in total. In Order of Frequency of Appearance: Frank Frankly shows up 18/53; Julie Joyful 15/53; Wally Darling 13/53; and Eddie Dear 11/53 - Barnaby B Beagle and the others show up in 9/53 and less in the Gallery. The top 4 are the main characters, with them all carpooling together in one scene, but Personally I want to talk about Frank & Julie. Those two are the most frequently depicted together, with the most scenes and costume changes, but we also see their relationship develop in real time, with possible confirmation from Wally in the Guest Book. Because of the more reserved nature of 70s Media and Culture in depicting affection between characters, certain interactions are more implicit than others. (I'm a 90s Kid, and my parents grew up in the 60s-70s, so I was able to run most of the Customs by them to max the probability.) Though the gallery first depicts Julie with Eddie playing Businesswoman, the first Image of Frank and Julie together shows them making Gelatin Salad together, wearing matching Yule Outfits with mistletoe in their Necktie and Hair Bow. (Making Dinner for Two, or organizing a Party together is an obvious sign of serious Closeness, but the Mistletoe adds the heavy suggestion that they are on Kissing terms with each other.) Julie and Frank's Valentines show up next to each other, and I don't believe that is a coincidence. Same in the Halloween Costumes, Julie is under Frank's arm, which is not just physical closeness but that Frank gives Julie a sense of Security. The absolute smokin' gun of all this is Frank and Julie wearing Pyjamas together - that is just NEVER done between a man and woman, unless they are in fact intimate with each other. There is confirmation that at the start of their Relationship, it was Julie who made the first advance, since Frank responds "Unless you're identical to myself, then we would be a terribly matched pair of socks!" I feel it's easy to guess that Julie claimed they are a Match together, comparing themselves to a pair of socks. We get two last pieces, with Frank brushing Julie's Hair, a sign that she is comfortable being vulnerable around him; and the two of them holding hands, which makes them obvious together when paired with the other artwork. I want to point out both the Pyjama scene, and the 5th to last Gallery Image with Julie playing with her hair and in Rain Gear, as I suspect those scenes actually depict the same night. In the Guestbook, Page 4, 11th row of the center Column, we find a comment labelled Morning with only two emoticons typed - 🐞🦋. Wally draws a house with rain clouds over them, to which he responds, "I have seen them before, do they like each other?" That Ladybug is NOT Howdy (He a Caterpillar🐛) - what we are seeing is Wally's Memory of Julie inviting Frank over with a Flashlight during a Stormy Night prior. Julie is shown breathing heavily and playing with her hair, she never invited a man overnight before, and then admiring the rain in the morning after, to which Wally notices the two in the same house together. How I see it from the Restoration Project Website: Frank and Julie become Intimate, and have motivation to leave the Neighborhood together, to which 50 years later, Wally is all alone with Home.
