Vikings used to be nice but it got really bad over the years. I almost want to make you guys some ribs with Sweet Baby Ray’s. That’s our family’s favorite 😊
actually a better food review than most other vloggers out there. one of the more honest and none generic food reviews out there. they seem to know what they want and what to look for in the food
Vikings Buffet is one of the most affordable buffets in the country and definitely not luxurious. If you wanna try our luxury buffets here, I personally recommend Spiral in Sofitel or Conrad buffet. The buffet in Okada and Fresh buffet at Solaire are pretty decent too. Welcome to the Philippines ❤
I’ve been binge watching all your vlogs 😂 you two are funny as well, nice to see you two enjoying yourselves, I thought you will be going to Korea for spring since it will be getting hotter here in Ph in the coming months/ I’m also a blink and been watching your blackpink reaction videos (no skipping ads☺️) Jisoo got her own RUclips channel now hopefully you can do some reaction video on them too
It's sad that you weren't able to get their tempura, that and their pasta are what I always eat when we go at Vikings hehe they are so good! Also love their mini desserts and also their seafood. I also personally think that the one in SM Megamall is better than the one you went to in SM North. Glad you boys are enjoying the Philippines, stay safe as always!
I notice Tyler likes more pastry and cakes and some bready stuff with berries flavor ,there are so much to choose from that buffet ,I envy the food eat all u can🎉❤❤❤
Will be in the Philippines in less than a year. The last time I was there, stayed in Manila hotel and loved their breakfast buffet. I heard Shangrila has a better breakfast buffet. Just like you guys, I like Manila and will stay for a few days before going to the province. I would like to try some buffet places for dinner. Thanks for sharing your experience and honesty. I don’t think Vikings Buffet will be on my list.
Always great to see Ducky and Croc, even if a swift cameo. Viking Buffet looks interesting and at least worth a try. Cheers for sharing. Good luck in Baguio!
Vikings is always full-pack with people. We had NIU by Vikings last February at SM Aura. Then I was invited in Vikings Megamall. They did the walk-in reservation. We were there around 5pm, we were able to get in around 8pm. Lol 😂 For me, NIU foods taste better than original Vikings.
Hahaha! If you eat a very sweet food the rest of the food you eat after that will be tasteless. 😂 you need to really plan which food to taste first. Start with food that generally taste light like Japanese food.😂 looking forward to your next food review. 😊
Hi guys! It seems like a “poor mans buffet” or the affordable price , for people who don’t care about authentic cuisine, for as long as they are happy eating and enjoying every bite. No wonder it’s always packed and long list of reservations. Is it like the “Golden Corral” version here in the US? Your food review barely pass your tastebuds. Oh well, thanks for sharing and something that we discovered again of places that you guys always like to visit and try for yourselves. Have fun exploring more of the Philippines during your travels. Watching here in Jacksonville Florida USA 🇵🇭🇺🇸
Good content! I enjoyed it very much. I suggest trying the food with the sauce that comes with it. Especially the makis and the tempuras, havubg it plain is really different without the accompanying sauce. Tempura without the sauce is just uuuggghhhhh =)
You guys should try to go on a food trip in Escolta, which is also a nice place to walk around and appreciate the architectural heritage (the historic First United Building has cafes, stores, and bars in it)! For transport, you can go to or from there via the Pasig river ferry, which sails the river passing Makati and Escolta ferry stations. Just an idea for a nice day trip out! :)
Had never experience a viking buffet but just a Sofitel breakfast buffet.. 💕😁 and it is an experience.✨ Had tried the tamago in the Japanese section and it is not for my taste buds..😂😂 cause it is sweet scrambled eggs. 😆
@@denper64now i know..😌 also after that experience, i had watch a Japanese culinary chef on RUclips made that dish and yeah he put sugar, so i though that's how they made their eggs.. ) maybe i will like the taste if it has mayo☺️ but all in all, i like Japanese cuisine! )
Haha! As a Filipino, since I wouldn’t be able to try all the food, I’d go straight to expensive dishes and reserve my limited stomach space for special dishes, not the regular carbs. I’d go for steak - filet mignon, t-bone or New York cut, sashimi - not sushi, Oso buco (bulalo), prosciutto Di Parma, Spanish ham, porceta, caviar, Cochinillo, lobster thermidor, Irish cheddar cheese, crab, prawns, steamed sea bass, French onion soup, Italian pasta cooked in a Parmesan cheese wheel, shrimp tempura, bulgogi, lamb chop, Swiss chocolate truffles. Oh man! Now I’m hungry!
The reason there's a lot of birthdays at Vikings is because you eat free if it's your birthday. Provided you're with one companion who pays full price.
EPIC Vikings!!! Okay okay, whenever I go back in the Philippines for the past 5 years, my relatives and friends teased me to treat them in Vikings.... but never happened. Buffet, too much food, and expensive, ehehehe. Edit: Thanks for your reviews, frackers. I will NOT go to Vikings. Try Buffet 101 next and will wait for your reviews.
I am from mindanao, there's a lot of beautiful places there,if you know Kyle Jennerman vlogger "Becoming Filipino" he lived there for long.Don't believe of some negative comments from those who themselves never been to mindanao.
If you are ever in the Pasay area around the Mall Of Asia on your birthday you should go to one buffet for lunch and then go to another one for dinner so you can get both for free of course with one paying adult. That way you can try two of the buffets.
My mom and I ate at Viking's last year on her birthday because if you come on the exact date of your birthday you eat free provided that you have at least 1 paying adult with you. You can also come on your birth month but you will need to bring 4 paying adults.
Tip regarding buffets : don’t eat any carbs (rice, bread, pasta, etc) fills you up quick. Salad and fruit, eat at end of meal. I go for veggie dishes in lieu of rice. Go for the meat first (seafood, chicken, beef, pork, etc . ) eating the meat makes the price of buffet worth it. Happy eating ! God bless 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
you can try the pandesal bread with coffee for breakfast. we usually "dunk" the pandesal just the tip of the bread in the coffee before eating it, the Filipino way 😂
You eat PUTO BUNGBONG with either butter or margarine & sugar on top/ or grated coconut with butter or margarine & a little sugar depends on your taste.
Now that you have tried one of our glutinous rice desserts, maybe you can try others... My faves include bibingka malagkit, biko, and suman malagkit (I suggest dipping this last one in some sugar). Try to purchase them from local bakeries. Another option is going to Goldilocks bakery, as their turnover should be pretty high, because people ain't got time for hard, days old rice desserts lol
Finally, vikings! If you both are comfortable, try eating at any carinderias in the province when you get back from Korea (If I’m not mistaken that you’re in Korea now)
VIKING HAS BEEN CONQUERED!!! Was it worth it? What do you think?
😲😖
Absolutely worth it
Vikings used to be nice but it got really bad over the years.
I almost want to make you guys some ribs with Sweet Baby Ray’s. That’s our family’s favorite 😊
soursop is guyabano in Filipino.
maybe the eggy soup is the egg drop soup.

Still, the food is amazing.
You can also try another famous buffet at the Sofitel Hotel in Manila called Spiral Buffet. Some people called it the best buffet in the world.
Came too manila too late. Closes 1st July 2024 forever 😢.

You forgot the seafood. There's a section where you can select fresh seafood and they'll cook it for you.
Isaac looking like an absolute giant 😂 06:15
Tyler, did you really get sick or you just didn't want to miss your Vikings reservation? 😂
How tall is he?
@@carldavidgardner1104 6'3. The pther is 5'11"
Love the intro! Always makes my day! Thank you guys!🎉
You guys are very good at acting. You can be the next commercial endorser of one of the Philippines restaurants. Who knows 😁
Been Waiting for this!!! Thanks for this video frackers! Will be in philippines next week and first thing I try is vikings buffet haha.
Spiral Buffet in Sofitel Manila is much better, a bit more expensive, but worth it. More selections to choose from.
thanks for embracing our country. I hope you are enjoying the Philippines immensely

Hopefully you will be back at Cebu on August we will celebrate our festivals of festivals.. You’ll definitely enjoyed it. Hopefully
Great intro! Sad life for Crocker and Duckie tho, they cannot go to Vikings😅
You should try the SPIRAL BUFFET of SOFITEL HOTEL and that’s a freaking massive selection of foods. 😉 A lot of vloggers also cover it.
Hahaha! If you eat a very sweet food the rest of the food you eat after that will be tasteless. 😂 you need to really plan which food to taste first. Start with food that generally taste light like Japanese food.😂 looking forward to your next food review. 😊
P.S. you may try rinsing your mouth with fizzy water or slightly citrus flavoured drink before tasting another food.
We have so many buffet restauranf here in the Philippines. Buffet 101, Tong Yang,
Mostly we eat at Vikings Buffet are Roast beef, Lamb and Steam Shrimp and mix Vegetables
Spiral buffet at the Sofitel hotel is epic and a must try. Start saving your pesos!
Nice review, trifate!!!! Keep it up! 💖💙🔥
Loved this video. Recognized the stores as I, too, spent a lot of hours at North EDSA this past June.
Please try Spirals Buffet next. It’s the best in the country.

We usually use sugar in scrambled egg in Japan with a bit of soy sauce and sometimes with mayo.

I didn’t know you guys know NCT DREAM. Cute ❤ Anw, i suddenly miss PH because of you guys. Glad that you both enjoyed staying there!!
Don't forget to go to Palawan! The best!
Go here on your birthday with one paying person and you get to eat for free. There are other buffets that hold same birthday promos.

You should have put a lot of milk in halo halo to be tasty. The liquid beside the milk is melted sugar so it will be easier to mix
When I do a buffet, I always target the meat and seafood section first
try Sofitel hotel buffet more food choices more spacious, see your self , more authentic .
Tip regarding buffets : don’t eat any carbs (rice, bread, pasta, etc) fills you up quick. Salad and fruit, eat at end of meal. I go for veggie dishes in lieu of rice. the intro was dramatic!! i mean Very Epic!
I have gone to vikings before here in iloilo on my dad's bday and they danced and sing 4 him as well with a cutesy cake w/ candle
Can't wait for Baguio vlogs
The best Viikings is at SM Marikina....try the walnut banana bread of S&R
OMG THATS ME IN THE TABLE IN THE BACK😂
Total Cool!
Steak and Beef in Vikings is tough lol. Tried the Marikina, Megamall, and their 4Seasons Buffet in Cubao. It's Gummy 😂
Try going to Fresh buffet in Solaire ! It's much better. I don't recommend the overprice spiral buffet. :) Fresh buffet is the way to go
Who’s with me seeing these guys cooking filipino food.
Right on point! Eating in Vikings as a group is ok, but just for a meal, not worth it🎉
Try the Sofitel Spiral Buffet, best luxury dining experience. Also the Dampa or Paluto, we have the best seafood in the world.
Also at Conrad to see the view of Manila Bay.
you should try MaryGrace ensaymada! and cheese rolls
Guys have you tried La Fiesta buffet in MOA, it's really good Filipino food. 😊
you can try the pandesal bread with coffee for breakfast. we usually "dunk" the pandesal just the tip of the bread in the coffee before eating it, the Filipino way 😂

I had no idea you were Midzys! It's a shame neither of you could attend the concert! It was one of the most hyped concerts I've ever attended!
for high quality buffet it will be with Spiral Buffet at Sofitel Philippine Plaza with 21 dining atelier and a Cheese room

That's a nice view from your apartment.
Hu guys. Your best life moments is clearly in the PHILIPPINES !
Snowman intestines is a kind of coconut called MACAPUNO. The letter C is pronounce as K.
Yes go to Baguio and visit the rice terraces which one of the wonders of the world, some places in Baguio looks like Boulder Colorado 🤗🤙👍
For me still Spiral Buffet is way better than Vikings. It’s definitely the best among the rest.
Finally, vikings! If you both are comfortable, try eating at any carinderias in the province when you get back from Korea (If I’m not mistaken that you’re in Korea now)
I recommend you try Sambokojin next and compare it with Vikings.
