@@TeamTipidisyeah i love SDS and think MLB TS is year in and year out the best liscenced sports game on the market, but they really need to figure out how their own game works. potential is very simple and determines not just the rate of development but also the max overall rating a player can have, and if the potential is lower than the overall then the overall will decline in order to match the potential rating. why they would hardcode it like that from the jump for a player? i have no idea, definitely isnt the smartest nor the funnest
Agree. I picked him up later in the year for fantasy and he played really really well!
That is WAY too high based on the sample size. I think 80 is completely fine, but potential should be in that A/B range.

I mean 8-12 seasons is excessive when he’s playing games, he’s also in peak madden mode with the draft coming, trades happening, he’s covering that plus rebuilds. The longest franchise/rebuild I’ve seen from a RUclips with a decent falling was 10 years and he simmed all the games only did the in between management and off season. Also have to consider viewership, drop off would come long before it made it that far
Being from KC, seeing the Royals as the next franchise team has me so hyped

Agreed honestly Bobby Witt could be the best player we've had since Brett and Ragans looks like a legit ace. I honestly feel like we could even challenge Detroit or Minnesota for the division this year, especially if some of the guys we signed play well like Wacha, Lugo, Renfroe, and Frazier. Also hoping for big years from Pasquantino, Garcia, Melendez, Singer, and Fermin (and of course that Salvy stays hitting bombs). Definitely hyped for this season.
As a Royals fan I definitely look forward to this series
2015 being literally 10 seasons ago (including this season) makes me feel weird. It was the last time all three of my favorite franchises were in a championship game within a year of eachother. (Warriors, Panthers, Royals)

Personally I think you should use the PCI but only during player lock just so when your player locked they have a bit more of an impact. That being said love these series so hyped, keep it up Bengal.

Cole Ragan potential and rating could get a boost, but only if you lower the rating on someone else that is over rated to keep it balanced imo.

I think zone hitting/pinpoint pitching being used during player lock moments could be fun and hopefully not too overpowered

I think we’d all love it if every team got a slight ratings adjustment. As a fan I know my teams ratings confused the hell outta me. Even if it’s just making the prospects have a chance to be impactful it might add to the experience

If you want to balance potentials without being cheesy, bump Ragans up 10 and drop Singer down to a low/medium B potential to even it out

I would only boost his potential a little bit in 17 games with texas he had like a 6 era and in 12 games with Kc like a 2.5 very good just nothing insane

absolutely not considering Ragans has C potential as an 80 overall, i.e. he will start regressing from the moment time starts passing due to how the overall/potential system works

Cole ragens couldn’t figure it out w Texas in the tougher division when he was traded for Chapman last year both teams won he stepped up and took a huge step forward but I say potential boost to b no velocity boost
After last year Raggans definitely has the potential to be a stud he needs a boost (i don’t watch any baseball)
I think B potential at a 86 is pretty good for cole ragans because he was so good

Happy to see you back on MLB! I really enjoyed Reds franchise and seeing you follow through for the full year. Hopefully you found a good formula to get through multiple seasons but also not sim too much. For missing prospects you can manually edit random minor leaguers or have them on the roster before starting the franchise. After you start, you cannot add a created player to your franchise
