Thank you for watching and I hope you get something valuable out of this lesson. I am currently holding early signups for Creature Design Workship in June (beginning June 4th). For those of you that are new to my channel, I hold a creature design workshop every single month which begins on the first Tuesday of the month and runs four weeks. Please check the links in the description for further information. Here is a quick way to get to the website. I cap it at eight students, and it fills up quickly! www.creaturedesignworkshop.com/
Yes and I hope this format never changes. Imo short videos are ok for tips but can’t really teach much. Not enough time. I very much prefer the longer videos.
Omg! You’re a true modern master! Such great inspirations. Your knowledge of anatomy, 3d space and creature behavior are outstanding! Thank you so much for your invaluable sharing! 👏👏👏
I think it would be cool to see a fully realized Asian mythical creature like a fu dog, baku, or kirin. These creatures have characteristics of many animals and I think it be cool to see how to fit them together
I love your videos. This is really inspirational and entertaining! Out of curiousity: do you ever force yourself to draw outside your 'comfort zone'? Like, draw something funny-cartoony or romantic-Disney stuff?
Thanks for the video!! You kill it, i would like you draw a human middle insect like a mantis or a mushroom creature whith insect wings. Hope you draw it
Always great designs, techniques and advice, thanx ! You seem to draw a lot of hideous and evil creatures, and I wonder if you can draw some beautiful ones or if it's more difficult.
Ich sehe du gehst tief mit deinen Gedanken in das Papier wie das Tier die Figur aussehen sollte. Professionell wie du konntest du das Farbe Castel Kiste kaufen? Ich Teile deine Videos.
Do you have a video on where to start with creature drawing? Like did you use animals as reference, anatomy, etc, I really have no clue on where to start, any books or online resources you can recommend would be amazing
I am still at the beginning of the video. But when talking about your references you forgot to mention your own beautiful piece right there beside this sketch I’m watching you create now. 😅
I think it would be cool to watch you create a creature that’s made up of… Velociraptor Nubian Ibex Alligator Snapping Turtle Irish Elk African Tiger Fish 3 Toed Sloth Tree Frog Harpy Eagle

Sometimes! But my cute fuzzy stuff ends up looking like a Disney character put inside Silent Hill 🤣

What graphite pencils do you recommend from Amazon?

What about drawing something with translucent skin? Like deep sea creatures.

Alligator Snapping Turtle
Irish Elk
African Tiger Fish

I think drawing a nasty looking harpy would be cool.
