WEIRD WHO IS BACK!
And this time, we're taking a look at a bizarre but charming advert from way back in 1965, the peak of Dalekmania! The creatures had conquered TV, the cinema, toyshops, bookshops and department stores alike! But one market they hadn't yet dipped their plungers into, was advertising for adults.
Enter Remington, a personal care company who had been providing quality shavers to consumers since the late 1930's and indeed still does today! Wanting to get in on the Dalekmania action, they asked the BBC if voice actor Peter Hawkins could lend the 'Dalek' voice to a new commercial they had coming up! The results are... very weird to say the least!
