Transformers ONE literally took me back to 1986. Felt like a kid again man. So there it is. Hopefully they'll make more of these and stay away from earth and humans.

Bro it was fire right!!! I almost cried like they really did a great job! Some surprises too. You may have to take back leave things alone from the 80s. Dope bassatron review.
Just such an overall good story and even better action. Havent been in a theatre where people clapped in a looooong time. Kudos to everyone who made this beautiful movie possible.
@rashadgreviews1868 I can respect that. Personally, I liked Hot Rod growing and proving himself worthy of being a Prime after Optimus' death. He even put up a decent fight against Galvatron before he wrestled the Matrix away from him. With Transformers One, without spoiling, the beginning was meh...once they got into that second and third act, things started to get real.
I still don’t like the design of Bumblebee’s helmet. It looks too much like the Bayverse helmet design. And Bumblebee is too over the top, nothing like his original personality. I’ll give any Transformers movie a chance but it’s still not looking like my kind of thing.

This movie was awesome but you can’t compare the 86 movie because this is a origins story and 86 that was the death of octimus both are brilliant but 86 was so so ahead of it’s time
They killed Optimus Prime. The best thing about that movie. I loved it! Saw it in the theater 4 times when I was a kid. It's a war. It's realistic. Soldiers die. I was pissed & disgusted when they brought him back. Just to appease all the crying little babies who were upset.
It's basically like War For Cybertron in which it's the start of its own continuity from the very beginning. Regardless it takes a lot of notes from almost every single continuity and gives tribute and love to everything that's come before it. It's peak.
I'll go and see it based on the early reactions, as I too was skeptical however I am TIRED of Bumblebee. I wish they'd kept the original lore of Ironhide and Elita being Optimus' two oldest friends. I think Bumblebee works best as the young up and comer who's trying to prove himself to the others. The bayverse ruined him by trying to turn him into a badass warrior. He was a scout, a tiny, sneaky bot who didn't need to be the biggest or toughest. He was the Rudy of the Autobots.
I am not having a go or anything obviously you are entitled to lieke it and to express your opinion but man i just don't know what the obsession is with explaining in great detail about where iconic characters came from and how they came about we have it with this and a whole load of other huge franchises this is the issue i am having with this and Aliens and TV series Doctor Who. Has nobody ever thought that the little explanations we get with characters and the mystery that comes with that makes these characters interesting and once you know everything about them it just takes that mystery away and ( for me anyway ) takes away any emotional investment i had with them characters which in turn really puts me off going back purely because i know everything now so what else is there so again i don't know what the obsession with is with doing this as i feel it just spoils it. I mean i hazard a guess that there is no original tallent out there like George Lucas said in an interview also coupled with the fact most people want to make the big bucks without putting the actual work in to make something original and how do you do that how do you guarantee to do that go back and do something with a franchise that already has a hugely established fanbase. I mean i think how i feel hugely fits as i notice a pattern of this being done for just over 20 years ago were it all started with JJ Abrams Star Trek which has now spawned the awful new Trek that even Shatner has said that Roddenberry would be turning in his grave over. But yeah i think my concerns on this are valid and i dont know why people continue to support this it really does baffle me as we should be calling for more originality in the industry to be honest.
never cared for the bay designs, bumblebee, modern movies. from what i seen of transformers one i like the animation but the characters, designs are too bay-ish for my taste. also not a fan of the toy story/lego over the top style voice acting
Yo chill with the dad stuff man! I know you joking but your son wanting to hang with his cousin got nothing to do with you being a boring dad! And thanks for the review.
I don't mind when movies have build up in the story. We can't have a movie with 95% action only. The origin story in the G1 was in 1 episode, love it. But I'm happy that we get a full movie of the origin story. A bit Different and longer. Great movie.
Hello, Rashad. While I'm cool with Transformers, i was never a big fan like that. I did enjoy some of the live-action movies, but the trailer for this installment turned me off. I'm the movie guy, so I'll peep it out at some point. Hope i enjoy it as much as you did. TERRANCE OUT
Don't miss seeing this movie in a full theater! The only thing stopping me from saying the third act of this film is the greatest thing in Transformers history is the fact that the third Act of TFTM exists: everything from the point where Unicron starts transforming onward will be forever untouchable.
What about 86 was better? They off'd all the transformers we knew from the show, and the ones that remained became sideline characters to these new characters we cared nothing about 🤷🏾♂️ The 1st 20 min were dope, after Prime passed the movie lost me...actually after Galvatron took out Star Scream
So I never grew up with transformers so all I have ever seen is the live action movies which for me I have no intention to revisit them ever again. With this one it isn’t out in the UK at the moment but until your review and Perez, I wouldn’t have seen this as I thought the trailer looks terrible. Ps poor hot rod 😂

Sort of like how you have The Justice League but underneath them is the Teen Titans. (younger kids who are aprentice level)
The older guys can watch the mainline transformers and the young kids can watch the Hot Rod series.
See? I solved the problem. I think a remake of G1 should be made with modern animation. (use the CG that TF One uses)
@@UToobUsername01 I didn't say he wasn't leadership quality. I said I didn't like the idea of him replacing Prime.
I did like the idea of Hot Rod becoming Rodimus Prime, I just would've went with a different alt form.
This movie was awesome but you can’t compare the 86 movie because this is a origins story and 86 that was the death of octimus both are brilliant but 86 was so so ahead of it’s time
I'm sorry, but once Hot Rod became the focus, it lost me
Rodimus > Hot Rod > Rodimus Prime
They killed Optimus Prime. The best thing about that movie. I loved it! Saw it in the theater 4 times when I was a kid. It's a war. It's realistic. Soldiers die. I was pissed & disgusted when they brought him back. Just to appease all the crying little babies who were upset.
Best thing about the movie?? 🤦🏿♂️ Well if I'm the writer, I'd swap Prime for Hot Rod, let him get smoked instead
You lost street cred when you said you liked Beast Wars…..that movie was so bad. Lol
I dug it 🤷🏾♂️
Very disappointing. You weren't wrong.
And you liked Revenge of the Fallen??
Had it's moments lol
@@rashadgreviews1868 all of them bad really. Only The Last Knight was worse than it
WE ARE BACK
Orion Pax
Better?!? Is it canon to G1?
I believe so
It's basically like War For Cybertron in which it's the start of its own continuity from the very beginning.

I was born in 1990. This movie I saw too. Not better than 1986! 😂
This was a bad fart turned to diarrhea! FK this movie! 😂
Transformers One: The origin story I never knew I needed.
I’m going again lol😂😂😂
Hell Yea!!
never cared for the bay designs, bumblebee, modern movies. from what i seen of transformers one i like the animation but the characters, designs are too bay-ish for my taste. also not a fan of the toy story/lego over the top style voice acting
So glad you liked it! 😎🤘🏾
I loved it!! Goin to see it again!
Yo chill with the dad stuff man! I know you joking but your son wanting to hang with his cousin got nothing to do with you being a boring dad! And thanks for the review.
I like to think I'm the cool dad lol
I watched it online 3xs this weekend. I'm debating if I want to go give the theater my money because it WAS that good.
As a movie lover, you gotta vote with your dollars bro. If you want more stuff like this and less Bayhem, you gotta vote.
Thanks for sharing this movie review once again, man!!
I don't mind when movies have build up in the story.
We can't have a movie with 95% action only.
The origin story in the G1 was in 1 episode, love it.
But I'm happy that we get a full movie of the origin story. A bit Different and longer. Great movie.
“Miners” XD
Get it 🤣
I’m 47 and I’m seeing it on Saturday and definitely looking forward to feeling like a seven-year-old again, lol. Can’t wait.
Hello, Rashad. While I'm cool with Transformers, i was never a big fan like that. I did enjoy some of the live-action movies, but the trailer for this installment turned me off. I'm the movie guy, so I'll peep it out at some point. Hope i enjoy it as much as you did.
TERRANCE OUT
Trust ya boi G, you'll dig it 💯
MOVIE OF THE YEAR 2024 ….YES I SAID IT
Bruh, this movie brought tears to my eyes frfr it was so good.
Great to hear you enjoyed it. I wasn’t very interested in this myself tbh. Maybe I’ll check it out later. Have some other stuff to get to first.
Don't miss seeing this movie in a full theater! The only thing stopping me from saying the third act of this film is the greatest thing in Transformers history is the fact that the third Act of TFTM exists: everything from the point where Unicron starts transforming onward will be forever untouchable.
It’s good but not better than the original one 86
What about 86 was better? They off'd all the transformers we knew from the show, and the ones that remained became sideline characters to these new characters we cared nothing about 🤷🏾♂️ The 1st 20 min were dope, after Prime passed the movie lost me...actually after Galvatron took out Star Scream
Can't wait to watch this on theater
Bro why you have to spoil a big part of the movie without giving anyone a chance to click off the video? Not cool dude.
Tha F did I spoil? Everything I said is in the trailer my guy
25 seconds into the video all I heard was Optimus Prime dies.
Ninja!! I'm talking bout the 86 movie!!!!!smdh
Hot Rod can kick rocks!! Lol, well hit the reset button and start your transformers journey over with this one!!
@@rashadgreviews1868 I am going to give it a shot fam, if it sucks im blaming you both 😂

Sacrilege...
Speaking my truth fam!! That traumatized me

I saw it today; you were right. In fact, I would contend that it's FAR superior to the 1986 film. I'm man enough to admit when I am wrong.

@GeminiJoel FOH lol...Redeemed himself 🤦🏿♂️
YAY!!! Someone else who thought this was BETTER than the 80s movie. That film actually bored me to tears and I hated it so much. This one was so entertaining.
The 80s movie to me will always stand out for the soundtrack and top tier animation for it's time...but yea, this one was leaps and bounds better
3:06 Now your smoking something saying its better than Transformers the movie.
I said what i said, felt like a true transformers film...and no Rodimus Prime 🤦🏿♂️
