Love the fireplace and the light fixtures too! I personally would like to see it furnished with the carpet, bookcases and books, and furniture...all the stuff. The house is waiting for its things 🙂
Furniture would be fun! However, if you don’t want to make furniture but you also don’t want to leave it empty, you could maybe do a stack of miniature boxes as if someone is just moving in (or moving out) haha
I would love to see this little house furnished! But, I get that it would take time. Let it, and build things when/if you want too. :) There's no rush. All the best to you, Nik! :)
Looking great Nik! I think you should go all the way, the whole shebang, rugs, furniture and maybe a silver tea set setting on the table. Put one of your lovely bookcases (filled with your adorable mini book) in the downstairs area. Heck yeah! I'd even make a donation toward some building materials. My mother was a miniature hobbyist/enthusiast. She had collected, as well as built many pieces over the years and was looking forward to one day rebuilding (in miniature) her childhood home, an early 1900s farmhouse. However, due to severe kidney and heart damage from diabetes, she passed before she could see her vision come to life. I would love to watch you bring this little house to life, no dolls though. Just my two cents worth. Happy crafting!
The house is lovely empty but it would be fun to have it furnished! Maybe you can add things slowly in between your other projects. We’ll be here to admire you doing it and be inspired!
OMG! You make running electricity to your doll house look easy! I have a witches cottage in the works that I've been putting off finishing because it needs lighting. Thank you for sharing how you did it, I'm going to give it a try. It will be easier than trying to convince my son to get the cottage out of the 102* attic! I think you should make some furniture I watched a video on how to make a tufted bed out of a kitchen sponge it was super cute and easy looking.
Hi you are making the house i sooo wanted when i was a little girl, all those years ago! In the living room, you should have a rug! And w high back chairs near the fireplace! And maybe a dining table? Stop me now!!! I’m back in my childhood dreams!☺🤷♀
I bow down to your creativity and talent. Absolutely amazing. That fireplace is awesome! I chuckle to myself as it sounds like you're defining my house, old and decrepit (built in 1890). Furnished or not, well how about hanging a ghost in it and call it good. LOL
Maybe you could use the miniature house as a setting for your craft time mystery stories. Recreate crime scenes. Like a tipped over chair under a hangman's noose... You should definitely keep going because you mayit look so easy. There have to be mini books, a shelf for them, snd a comfy chair to read by near the fireplace
Coming along nicely!! Your ability to whip up a fireplace and light fixtures, etc ... well actually the whole tiny house is just amazing!! You are so crafty (you know Brainy)!!
You are one talented craftsperson, Ms Nik the Booksmith. My dad was a craftsman and a very talented one, and he made me an amazing doll house (this was back in the very early 40s), but I gotta tell ya...he didn't have anything on you. This is amazing. Blessings to you!
Wow love the fireplace and the light, you are so talented 😊 would love to see it furnished if your up for it 😊 wish I was your neighbour I could learn so much from you teehee 🤭 thank you so much for sharing and have a fabulous day 😘😘😘🇨🇦
Wow. You are amazing. We’re needing some work done on our house. Can we hire you? I would love it if you filmed making some furniture. I’m actually working on remodeling a doll house I made 35 years ago, the timing of you doing this is perfect. I need furniture ideas!!
Nik, what a house!!! Love that you shared with us your process!!! Love your stories when you share. Like adult story time!!!Yay. Definitely sparce furniture if not a full on house full!!! You, Nik are one of my favorites. 💜💜💜
It's so much fun watching your videos. If you want a change of pace, please do. However, please revisit these miniature house projects in the future. Your videos are so creative and soothing to watch.
Given some of you dioramas that you have done. , i would love to see what you could do in furnishing this house. Carpets, furniture the lot would be amazing. But I think that I would love to see what you could sudoku in creating wallpaper. Marblizing in miniature anyone?
I'd love to see it furnished. Perhaps some of your viewers could contribute a few pieces? I'd be willing. I've been working on a few bookcase variants and a desk for a book nook, and am likely to have spares as I experiment.
Just a thought, but it I’m pretty sure if I spent all that time constructing the perfect little house along with working light fixtures and a glowing realistic wood burning fireplace, I would have to furnish it. I’m pretty sure you’re going to have to (at least) moderately furnish and decorate this beauty to be able to sleep at night. We’ll see soon enough.
I love this little house. 😍😍You can always 3d print furniture or bentley house minis has a few kits she laser cuts. The abandoned miniatures guy has some grimey looking 3d prints on his site too.
Awesome work! Your fireplace reminded me of the one I made for my Sherlock room. For furniture you could probably 3D print. I picked up some second hand items through marketplace.
I think it should only be furnished with a big comfy chair, bookcases, and books.... or no bookcases, just stacks and stacks of books... and I guess something to sleep on. So maybe a comfy daybed that can serve both snuggling down with a book and sleeping activities!
I hope you have tiny house insurance if you're going around with real fire! We all know what happened to the Aroma Room in Phoebe's dollhouse on Friends. That house is begging to be moved into--don't stop! 🙂
Perhaps a few tattery pieces of furniture. Like someone moved out and left the junk behind. lol. On another note, I made a human size faux fireplace out of an old bookcase. I am the envy of my senior building. lol well at least a few people.
Lol that's my kind of flex! But, it makes me feel a little guilty I haven't finished the faux mantle piece I started 4 years ago when I revamped my studio. 🤦😄
Hi Nik, I finally broke down and signed up; your channel is my first subscription. (We chatted on Instagram a few weeks ago.) In addition to saying how much I have enjoyed your videos for quite a while now, two things: First, I'd love to see you furnish the house, but the furnishings should be as unique as it and you are -- and can take as long as you need to get them just right. Second, please tell me about the tool you used for twisting the wires in your lights. I have searched and cannot find anything like it! Thanks for all you do.
Hi Nik! I love this a lot! I always loved miniatures! I kinda noticed your fireplace still looks too clean for me: if it were a real fireplace, it would get soot on the back wall and maybe also traces (like it would have been wipes for years) on the ground. And, I could not stop there, do all this work and not finish it? Maybe, if you don't want people to leave in it, you could put SOME furniture, like it was left there by former occupants? Well it's just an idea, you do you!
I make little furniture but my granddaughters grew beyond doll houses. You are encouraging me to continue. ❤ TY
You know we are all going to say keep going! We really want to see this house become the home of our dreams. One that we can live vicariously in. 😂 ❤
Hi Nik!! I personally would love to see how you make furniture for the house. You are so brilliant and you come up with the coolest ideas!!!
Love the fireplace and the light fixtures too! I personally would like to see it furnished with the carpet, bookcases and books, and furniture...all the stuff. The house is waiting for its things 🙂

You’ve got to keep going with it - would love to see you furnish the house when you are inspired. You amaze!!

Love the fireplace! Love your channel! You make me laugh! Thanks Nik!!
I would love to see the house fully furnished. It’s begging for it ❤

Loved hearing about your mama, thank you. I am sorry she wasn't able to make her farmhouse. She sounds like my kind of people. =)

Ara is a genius!
@@NiktheBooksmith and so are you! You both are two of my favorite content creators 💝💝
The house and light fixtures are amazing. Your so clever. So many great ideas. Thank you for sharing ❤❤❤
So funny. You turned off the lights and the video cut to a commercial for Bomb pops, on a subway. It was hilarious!
😂 oh i feel honored Nik. Glad i gave you a laugh! Seriously though who wouldn't want Nik on their team you even out do MacGyver for ingenious ideas.😂❤
I always love what you make! And I really like your personality!🦌💌❤️📚

Yep, yep… furniture!
I'd love to see it furnished. Perhaps some of your viewers could contribute a few pieces? I'd be willing. I've been working on a few bookcase variants and a desk for a book nook, and am likely to have spares as I experiment.
Make furniture 😊 but yes, a mini book or something in between 😉
It looks like you have done this before. A real nice job. Love doll houses and furniture. Carol from California

I think you shoukd go all out, it's great so far but we need see it loaded 😀 besides it's fun to create!
I just found your channel and it's very calming. 😍
Hi Nik, just put minimal furniture like a rug and things that would be left behind when someone moves out and the home has been left alone for years.
Light fixtures look awesome! May I ask where you purchase your led lights?
Thanks! I added them to my Amazon Booksmithables list. Link is under the video if you want to check them out =)

Simply amazing lady 🥰
Hey there, miss Collette! ❤😊

Well hello Nik, so your making an abandoned house humm haha now that would be cool.

How about making a House book. Open the front cover and its a house.
I'm looking to downsize to a smaller house and I will need it to be furnished. Sooo.....
So cute and fun, but this popped up right after I watched the movie Hereditary .. Great movie not great timing.
Hello
Hmmmmmm I know that's a lot of work but gee you came this far. Lol. I hope we don't push you too far but I'm a chubby pushy old lady so get going.
😄 yes, ma'am!
I think you should definitely furnish the house. Think of the content. 😀
😂 yes'm!
