  • New intro to get things started before Peter, Arne, Noosh, Banks and Russell take down a beautiful coastal redwood. Sadly, this approximately 50 year old tree wasn't planted in a spot conducive to a long life. When this 125 foot beauty started spreading its roots it was quickly discovered that the surrounding structures would suffer the consequences.
    After a dispute determining the tree had to go, Seattle Tree Care was called in to handle the job. Tag along as Arne and Peter ascend the towering hardwood, one in a bucket and one climbing to the top. As they drop more than 6 tons of biomass, Noosh, Banks and Russell handle the debris.
    Don't miss extraordinary sights, legendary stories and even a baseball game as Peter and the expert arborists of STC take on this 125 foot Coastal Redwood in Shoreline Washington.

    I love peters attitude. I own a smaller tree company. And anytime I feel like I’m going to get mad, or lose my temper I just think of Peter and how positive he always is. My way of running my business has improved and smiles on the job site have also!

      Thank you for the comment @troutbumdiaries. I believe positivity on a challenging worksite like this one is a huge part of getting it done. I wish it was all smiles and no frustrations though as yelling and anger are definitely something I have had to understand more and work on. The combination of taking responsibility for everyone’s safety, financial responsibility of a job, and who knows what else while running a small business can really raise the stress level and things get heated quick🥵. At the end of the day though it’s about caring for people and being kind, that goes way farther than anger ever will. Im still learning big time and have a long ways to go but taking that first step towards checking your emotions before flying off the handle goes along ways. Thanks for your comment!

      The best! It was surprising to me because when we rolled up in the am I thought to my self: no way are we going to be able to remove and haul that away AND grind the stump out so I called the grinder off. Tree was down and out by 2:30 so we added in the grinding that day. Wow! What a team. I am so grateful to get to work with trees like this and help clients.

    I’m from Virginia and i am a logger saw cutting timber and been in the tree work for quite some time, a tree that size what is a rough estimate price for cutting it down and removing it. Don’t really know the west coast tree market

    Man make longer video's

    • @SeattleTreeCare
      @SeattleTreeCare  2 месяца назад +3

      Would love to but it's really hard to find that happy medium between too long and too short. Now we let the job dictate how long the video is. If the content is there we make the videos longer. We started shortening them because people weren't watching a full half hour. Check out the first 5 or 6 videos in the Seattle Arborist Playlist if you want some longer ones. That playlist is here: ruclips.net/p/PLt5Wvx9rCIF35YGTkBLxVxmZ0pEXZQJzw&si=M8mZqhiwDFZ0z4oq

      View duration will always be low. Most people jump around during the videos to see the key moments. I get about 11 min of view duration on a 30 min video. If I make a 15 min video, I can expect the view duration to be around 8 min.
