THANK YOU! I thought this information would be easy to find since pastel colors are so popular, but I only found your video on it! I thought i would have to buy different dye shades!

After hours and hours of research about this subject, I almost gave up until I stumbled upon your video. I think something's wrong with yt algorithm as it took so long for me to see your vid. By the way, thank you so much for making this one. You saved me tons of resources including a shirt that almost got sacrificial. 😂

Thanks! In my experience the algorithm takes a few weeks or months until it shows stuff on search results more prominently. Anyway, glad it helped, that's exactly why I made it 😌

Hi! I’m also mixing dharma dyes into custom colours according to a similar system. Happy to talk and share more about my process..

It’s wild how thin it needs to be to achieve a pastel color

What is that chart of the left @ 00:16 ?
I am trying to figure out the grams of powder for making most colors, or ratio of liquid dye from the primary colors.
Really don't wana buy specific colors.
There has to be a spreadsheet or something somewhere.

The chart is the recommended mixing ratio of each color that I copied from the Dharma website and converted to metric. To calculate the gram ratios, you need to take the liquid dye ratios and scale them by their mixing ratios. If you need further help, name a specific color from my triangle you are interested in, and I will write you an example calculation when I have time.
