Not a London bus i.e. a Routemaster. This is a Bristol Lodekka - they look similar to the Routemaster.
the only problem with your comment is that its not British, but Czech sculpture. Cerny is czech artist or whatever you call such people. Its sitting in front of the Czech house as advertisement for people.

This is design , an art and doesnt have a specific purpose. Not everything what is created must be making money , sometimes its just nice be surrounded by nice, interesting creative things, the life would be dull and boring oterwise...today many people are lazy to do some things just for fun without thinking of materialism. real life is not just about going to pub and get pissed. you got luck u got many design and art stuff in London , lots of museums galleries..go and appreciate it!
