Yes 👍🏽 XG is extremely versatile. They are a new genre concept X-Pop created by Simon “Jakops”. Simon is a Japanese Korean former Kpop idol who was born in Seattle, Washington. He created this Dream Team. Simon took a sample from an OG Japanese Hip Hop Group M-FLO who released the song “PRISM” in 2001’. The Rapper VERBAL was also included on the REMIX of WOKE UP. The song is ground breaking because it has KOREAN and JAPANESE rappers on the REMIX. I love their “AWE” mini album. See you on the next one Alphaz. 🏹🌱🌸🌒🎄
Quite the contrast from their heavy hitters like WOKE UP and HOWLING. They’re definitely versatile. Great that you’re going down the rabbit hole. If you ever decide to react to their song GRL GVNG (“girl gang”) along the way, just know that the MV does not showcase the full song. To hear its entirety, check out the dance practice or the ASL version.
