As a Jamaican born in Montego bay and raised in Washington DC. Let me first o f all big up to all women in the motherland because are hard working people. They are rich and strong physical and spiritual...My wife is Ghanain and I want to say keep on doing this kind of beautiful African videos in the motherland! This is real not fake. I really appreciate what you are showing to the world. Long live MAMA AFRICA and her children🌍🇬🇭🇯🇲🤜🏿🤛🏿
African women are hard working. Jamaican women expect there man to do everything for them and at the end of the day there not loyal.
Wow my son in low, hope you will one day come with your family to visit your root, you are welcome in advance my sweet in low. ✌️and 💝🇬🇭🇯🇲
@@Kay-Dean tell his dumb ass again! I know some jamaican women work harder, holding 2 full time jobs and still taking care home, cooking good
Jasmine one thing that I have noticed about all the regions that you filmed at is that all the women work extremely hard for their families. The women work as One. They are a strong 💪team, they don't cut corners and come out with the best products and the work ethics is PHENOMENAL. Again Excellent Video.
Agreed ❤️❤️
So true. It is global. I've seen it in South and East Africa as well.
I totally 💯 agree with that comment! Great content! Keep them coming Jasmine 👍🏾RUclips is my New TV

That's why it makes me sad and angry when the government can't even provide simple things like decent schools and hospitals for the community 😔 because the government don't help them with anything.
Jasmine I love your videos as somone thats from ghana and living in london it gives me joy and a sense of nostalgia watching your videos
Nice vid! Thanks for sharing this, was getting sick of every youtuber doing the same thing; your vids r more enlightening.
Thanks Sam
YES 🙌🏾 EXACTLY
this people were very honest , lovely and hard working people , i love them most
They were 💕
Very genius and clever way of preserving things without any scientific "know how" but rather the use of wisdom and insight which the so called educated would call "far-fetched" .
I'm in love with Africa 😍 ; I've never seen Africa like this ; I'm going to fit right in ✊🏿 Jasmine You inspire me . Great video .
❤️❤️
14:38 Baby boy was going in, enjoying the fresh catch 🐟 They are putting in the work in that fishing town to supply the markets 💪🏽💥
Haha he was enjoying
Wow so they go through all this God bless their hustle I really need to visit one day and purchase a
Some
Hi jasmin.... wow fresh fish. Im so happy to watch ur video again. Take care, stay safe...🙏🙏🙏💖💖💖
❤️❤️
This is definitely a long process. These women work extremely hard. Thank you for another fantastic video.😊
Nice informative post. For a fish point, they keep the place clean. Appreciations.
I think so too ❤️
غانا بلد من احسن البلدان في افريقيا واتمنا لهم دايمن الخير واسعاده لنو هذا البلد بلد جميل وهلو طيبون ومثقافين وشعب مسالم
This is so refreshing to see.
Glad 💕
👍🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿Jasmine. About the month break for fishing, it is about the depletion of fish which fishermen have been complaining about. So this strategic period is to. allow the fishes to reproduce more and more and for the little fishes to mature and also be able to reproduce to increase the fish population. You know in advanced countries catching fishes of a certain small size is not allowed for the same reason that the fishes do not get to grow to reproduce hence depletion of the resource.
So like everybody else they may have to save a little for the lean season, get some much needed rest for their hard, tired bodies, the men use the time to do some major repairs for their canoes, nets etc. it was tough in the beginning but I believe they are adjusting to it.
@ Jasmine hello Chica, This was a amazing video the women are so strong & taking care of each other making sure the village eat.. "I was raised growing up you don't work you don't eat .. ( It's beautiful thing that everyone work to survive and take care of each other much blessings from 🇺🇸
Great work dear . I pray to God for your protection
Appreciate it
woman all hard working person
💕
Great vid.
The epitome of hustle: Ghanaian fisherman catching and selling fish and Ghanaian aunties buying stuff and traversing the marketplace. LOL
Freshly smoked fish, grounded pepper, onions and tomatoes with kenkey or banku- heaven on earth. 🥰🥰🥰❤❤Thanks Ama for the informative video. I hope the authorities that are trying to enforce the close season can work with the people to come up with real solutions that will be beneficial to all❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏
Samee ❤️❤️
Thank you so much sister we want to see more more like salty Fish Kobe
Soon ❤️
Hi Jasmine 👋 love this. My favourite food, love snapper. Would live to taste the smoked fish
That ' s amazing so many fishes. Definitively I love Africa I love my roots. Ghana Ivory coast we are same! God bless all Africans. 😘😘😘
I liked that the catch is shared almost equally among the women to provide everyone some income....instead of one person coming along and buying it all, just because they can.
Agreed
You sure are enjoying Ada. This is such a great video that brings us close to how much work goes into they bringing us the fish we love so much. Great job, Jasmine ❤️
🙏❤️
Yummy! I love fish cooked in different ways including smoked.😊. Thanks for the vlog Jasmine.
hi Jasmine love ur videos and the people from all the different places u go to thanks Ashley Australia .
💕
The poor man in Africa doesn't know how rich he is , let the rich man from the West explain to you what you have that you call poverty .Gold , seafood the most expensive things under the sun.
Facts
as far as i understand they have a closed finishing season to allow fish stocks to replenish also prevents over fishing and another reason i heard is a halt during breeding season once again to allow fish stocks to be sustainable
How does one close up the ocean? It’s vast. There’s numerous fish swimming in it. Enough for all people throughout seasons. It’s the people livelihood. In the beginning God said for us to take dominion over the earth and oceans as well. Comment made is my thought.
@@katherinemcconico982 katherine i thought it would have been quite obvious but since u ask me to explain i will. Different fish live in different parts of the ocean. The fish that are being fished live relatively close to shore in shallower waters they live and breed there so just like anywhere in the world if u over fish the pool it will deplete so when the fishermen go out to fish in the Ghana waters there would obviously be a depletion of stocks hence they would come back with a lack of stocks. deeper sea vessels could simply fish other areas but these are local fishermen who fish quite close to shore. Hope this helps u understand aquatic life.
@@dannydct1didn’t ask you to explain. Mistakenly attached my comment to your comment. Should’ve posted it separately. No offense. please accept my apology.

So nice to see the whole community shares. Beautiful scenery. Love your videos
❤️❤️
Hi jasmine ☺💓!
Nice job, and thanks for all you've been doing for us outside the country. The videos keep us intouch.
But you know when our leaders try to Intimidate these people, it's to take their jobs away from them and hand them to the Chinese people 🙄 just for their own selfishness (bribes) if they are worried about us so much, why did they allow these Chinese to pollut our rivers by mining??? No Chinese will allow no African in China doing something like that.
The person will be put in jail. May God protect us cuz our leaders are selfish and weak.
💘 you 🥰🤩
Thanks Jasmine for showing us Akplabnya!!! My beach house is at Ada Foah so I will be visiting Akplabnya in the near future and also buy their fish.
Great video Jasmine! I learned a lot about fishing and the lovely people of this lovely seaside village.
❤️
I’ve been meaning to tell you I appreciate the overhead view during filming. Also, I love Snapper too. They’re trying to prevent over fishing so the fish have time to breed and repopulate.
Makes sense but I guess they need alternative sources of income for the locals
Kudos Ama

The world is so beautifl if only we could appreciate it and each other.
I know right ❤️
This fish is expensive even here in 🇬🇧 well done to all these women and take you for sharing dear👏👏👏✌️
The waves and water is my everything. I 💘waves!
so calming ❤️
Big ups dear you're doing a great job
Appreciate it 🙏
Once again top content,,love it Ama,it's Ghana and women making it work.Thank you
Another fantastic one. The fishes are very big when compared to the fishes that you get when Jamaican fisherman return from the sea after fishing overnight. Fried fish and bammy( a cassava flat bread) is a Jamaican favorite. I don't know that the fishes slept at night on the surface of the ocean. 🇯🇲.
Akplabanya, my Holy Village. I did my National Services there in the late 80’s. I wonder if some of my students are in this business. They are a lovely people. We had an endless supply of smoked fish.
Jasmine , Jasmine ,Jasmine , In Africa women wor a lot. when it comes to small businesses... God bless African Women... #RoadTo100kSubs
❤️
Seeing all the fish, my first thought was: Imagine all these different fishes went for a swim and just never returned to their fish families😣
Anyways, snapper fish is really delicious for realz. I love to fry it and eat it hot. YUMMYYY!!!!
Sidenote: Jass's skin didn't come to play, as usual, IT WAS POPPING😍

I really don’t know. It’s usually fine during the editing process. Will looking into iy 🙏
HI,JAZZY,HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN LIVING IN THE ADA AREA?.NICE JOB,KEEP IT UP.
I was there for a few days 💕
Jasmine, you have really toured the Danbge side of Greater Accra, as such you have to be given an Ada name. Your Danbge name is 'MARKU' 🤣. Keep up the good work sis.
🤣🤣 what does it mean?
Maku is name given to the forth girl in the Danbge tribe, which i know you are not. 🤣🤣🤣
If you are the first girl in your family, you'll be named Dede. Hope you'll like that?. Keep up the good work. Shalom.
Woww 💛🐟🐟🐟🐟
Beautiful fish 🐟🐟🐟💙💜💚💓
Much respect for these people for all of the hard work!!!!!
This is the real 'Africa to the World.' Jas you are a star.
🙏
Jasmine do u know the name of this fish in English is it called barracuda not the anchovies but the bigger white ones that they covered in sand to keep ur fresh thanks
My favorite is red snapper too Jasmine. Had it for lunch today. Bought it from my local international supermarket. It was $8.99 a pound a week ago. Now it’s $9.99 a pound! Red snapper is so expensive in the US. I’ll have to find a new favorite soon at this rate.
Haha i feel uu.
Great job,Jas🥰
Love ur hair😍😍ama

Love the little boy getting his omega 3!
HAha so cute right
From jamaica with love
I LOVE fish. I could eat it daily, and Ghana would be perfect for me. As I don't like chicken and other meat, give me fish and vegetables.
Great video, great content as well keep up the good work and stay blessed 🥰🥰🥰
Appreciate it 🙏
I love ur show
❤️
Great content, very educational. I will assume the reason for fishing restrictions is to curb over fishing. If you do not give time for the parent stock to breed or the baby fish to mature they'll be nothing left to fish.
Getting real close to 100k jazzy.. congrats in advance 👏 ❤🫂
🙏
Jasmin, you make a great job. Welldone.
❤️
sister i love 2 watch your show where is my girl AISHA, greeting frm newYork
Hi Jasmine, Good to watch your videos. But in this video the audio is not Good. Thank you.
The fish looks so good. I could eat fish everyday. Grew up around the ocean.
Oh but that‘s a lot of fish for personal use or for sale of the market ? Nice Video 😊👍
I didn't identify you... Profile picture .. O ooo Muzungu.(whity man) ... OK l understands you now...!
Yeah That is Africa....
Me too l was shocked l traveled to Finland people live alone... Driving a car in a car alone.. Hymmnnn ...African do not live alone in the house....
Making a debate with white colleagues want 1/2 kids me African lady l want 12 kids... Some African men strongest men can have 4 wife's wives... With permission of traditional healer....traditional authorities
Don't try to have 4 wives at same time without counselors you will die!
No we do not have personal life... If you marry African lady you marry her whole family, relatives and neighbors....
And you have to pay her parents and family... Paying Magistrate has nothing to do with her family....
They sell some at the market Ralf 💕
This fishing town is not far from OTROKPER my hometown it's also a fishing town but because of SEA EROSION the town have a lot of land so what scientists are saying about GLOBAL WARMING it's have effected my town .
