- We swap this 1970 Chevelle SS with a LSX 454 from Chevrolet Performance backed up by a built 4L80e transmission. I go over what was all used to install the 600hp crate engine into this beautiful Chevelle.

If I ever come across about 30k magically I’m getting myself a 454, it’s insane
You could just learn how to build one from a stripped block. Really not that hard then you just have to pay to get it on a dyno and tuned which you’d probably have to do anyways
I’ve never understood why people want this motor. You can get a 950hp Wegner LS3 w/ 2.9L whipple for the same price.
gotta love hugger orange and white Rally stripes on a rag top. WIth big block power to boot in LS form.
My dream old school vehicle! I wouldn't change a thing on this build other than the paint to GM Torch Red with Black Rally stripes. This is a beautiful car!

Yes we changed the crossmember. This car used the swap kit from Holley.
Was the Holley terminator x max wiring harness for both the engine and the transmission
Yes
Where did you hide the coil packs and what coil pack mount are you using? Thanks
Coils are mounted by the engine mounts. We fabricated our own brackets

You would use a ls3 intake manifold

Thought 302-2 clears no bigger than a 3.62 crank? 302-3 up to 4". You sure it's not a 302-3? and if so did it just bolt up and clear? @Zero2SixtyPerformance

All LS are physically the same size so yep.. fits.
What cam does it have
The cam comes with the LSX 454 crate.
