    You always seem to get the right amount of glue on the gel tip when scraping the brush on the cuticle area. How did you figure it out? I always end up to little or to much.

      Usually, I start with the smallest nail and work my way up.
      With each larger nail, I add more gel to compensate for the size difference.
      I think now I’m just so used to it that I can pretty much eyeball it. But it did take some practice and sometimes I still under/over apply.

    Very informative! I really want to give gel nail extensions another try, but I’ve never been successful with them. I feel like the anatomy of my nails is too curved and the ones I’ve tried are always flatter so I end up with gaps on the underside.

      Hi, I seen there are brands that have gel nails that are now more curved than flat. Check out Amazon. Hope that helps ☺

    Hey Mrs.Carole. Very informative video. I learn something new just about every time I watch(: You're such a great teacher! So thanks for that. I know your favorite shape is Almond but do you think maybe you can make a video on Painted Deserts Short Square & Short & or X-Short Squoval Gelly Tips? I really really want to purchase one of the three. If I could choose anyone to do a great thorough application with said tips, I'd choose you!!! If not it's totally understandable. I know you're super busy creating great content for us. Plus with those not being your go to shape I would feel bad if your money went to waste just sitting there:/ Keep up the good work(:

    Is flash curing necessery? Or can we cure straight with big lamp?

    • @CaroleAnnette
      @CaroleAnnette  Год назад +1

      It’s highly highly recommended.
      When using a big lamp, you have to let go of the nail tip to put your hand inside.
      The tip isn’t secured yet and will pop off/ lift up and start forming bubbles and/or the gel begins to seep everywhere.

      What length/shape are you interested in?
      I know a few brands who have sculpted style tips, but they don’t come in every available style (like short almond/coffin).

      @@CaroleAnnette Yes, there are many companies who make gel tips. However, Gel X is a trademark of Apres Nails Company. Not trying to rude by any means. Just want to be informative.
