WOWSER! Amazing! What a great tip! I was about to try to mess around with spraying glue in little holes through the headliner as an experiment. But those twist pins looks like a much better option. Thanks for posting!!!
When Stan the Caravan began to droop. I did the YT deep dive and settled on the adhesive enjection method. As the product was making it's way towards my humble abode, I decided to read some of the comments. I shoulda done that first, the project was doomed to fail since the foam was in advanced state of delapitation, much like myself. So I abandoned that project in favour of the thumb tack method. I have a tip: never loose track of any of the tacks. I accidently left one, business side up, on the wifes seat. We used needle nose pliers and a bottle of Schnapps to resolve that issue. I had to sleep in the van for a week.
I have a 2007 dodge caravan with only 44,000 miles. Everything is great except for this problem. On top of that where the headliner meets the windshield, that part is hanging down. I could literally rip it off. Maybe I can try the tacks there. It looks horrible
Even regular thumbtacks have worked fairly well for me. I imagine the twist pins will hold better. Great idea.
Yes, you can screw them in. They stay up there or even kind of hard to get out.
My daughter did this with her Jimmy about 15 years ago. Glad to see that it's still "a way" to do it.
Indeed 😆 the professional way would cost several hundred dollars. I’m sure. But this is definitely a way. ✌️
I've had this problem with my 2006 Grand Caravan. My pins are on order. Thanks for the tip.
So glad I could help! These pins really work good, especially for the Dodgy Mini and Grand maxi vans! 😁
Thank you kind sir👌

Yes, I have the same problem in this van, I put some tacks up there, where it was separating from under the windshield frame. It looks, better. 😆
Yeah! Now it looks like a crappy matress...
😂 better than having the sheets falling down on my head while I’m driving! 🔧👍
