While this was a very fair analysis, it was also very surface-level. The fact is that we don’t know what went/goes on in Skull and Bones, Utah chapter. Skull and Bones is considered one of the most secret of the secret societies. Nearly all of those college fraternities have bad things going on in them, anyway. Today there are Christians renouncing the oaths and repenting of the things they did while in fraternities and sororities. It isn’t just Skull and Bones and Owl and Key to be concerned about, but also the Beehive the Greek-named fraternities he was in. It does indeed sound like he joined these groups in order to get ahead in life, and he has indeed been extraordinarily successful. Is there any reason to believe he has renounced any of what he did in those societies? I think not. When it comes to someone who is the highest ranking leader of a very large church, and who also claims to be a prophet-if he is a legit servant of the Lord, I would expect such a man to confess and renounce something like this. But he hasn’t….even though members have been concerned about it for a while now, he hasn’t addressed it… I’m glad you covered this topic!
3 Nephi 16:10 clearly teaches exactly what you said. Twice in that verse the Savior said he was commanded by the Father to teach it. Then in chapter 17 he said he would come and teach it again which he does in 3 Nephi 20-23. If we are surprised by this, we haven’t read the scriptures or we don’t believe them.
Very often secret societies will have groups within groups. The outer group can be very nice and pleasant. However, the inner group can have a totally different agenda.

How did he fail so hard during Covid? It’s unusable really. Our church literally joined with other NGO’s in petitioning the government to enact mandates. We were just some passive victims orderly, following what the government recommended. Our church was on the offense, pushing members into feeling obligated to get these injections all while publicly eating any member who wanted an exemption. I’m sure you’ve seen all the quotes and videos where they publicly supported mandatory vaccination, and where elder Oaks and Rasband step up on stages making fun of members and shaming members and condemning members who didn’t get themselves in their children’s injected with this crap. Rasband in particular even directly said that he prayed to God and just like every other leader of the church he got her direct answer (revelation, no?) that every member including children needed to get injected if they wanted to be true followers. In President Bensons talk you will see he warned and testified against it. He said this is one of the major messages of the Book of Mormon. If you don’t believe it, you deny one of it’s very purpose. Read Helaman 13. Or 2 Nephi 28. Or Ether 8 or Mormon 8. “Why have you polluted the Holy church of God?” Is there any other “Holy Church”. Who could he be referring to if it is not us?

that trust question is certainly a natural conclusion. But that is actually the beauty of it, because nobody should trust the prophet and RM Nelson gave us a wonderful and effective answer and clue: “… coming days… difficult survive spiritually… without…. holy ghost”. I didn’t trust anything after that, which is good. I trust the Holy Ghost in my search for truth and for people who help me in the understanding and making sense of all the current corrupt commotion inside the church. The church and gospel and God only gets even more validated with this revelation. From a personal revelation God told me “Don’t condemn my prophet”. Jesus knows and His vindication is coming. Not even a second washing and anointing can save the elect-corrupt. But he still has keys that we all need.

Why don’t you think that the Yale chapter ever sued the U chapter if there was no connection? 3. Russell Nelson probably joined several groups and was most likely very susceptible because he was so young and looking for acceptance.
Did you know that President Nelson wrote his own forward in Heart to Heart and passed it off as Spencer W. Kimball writing it? In the acknowledgements in the front of the book, RMN writes "... and to express his approbation for the manuscript, President Kimball further complimented me and my family by writing the forward that graces this book...." According to SWK's son, his father "passed it off" but he did NOT write it. If that's the case he was certainly full of himself writing about himself saying it was SWK. How is that being humble and honest?
I think it would be great for you to dive deeper into this subject in another video. Specifically addressing the concerns of many people in this comments section. I have seen multiple intelligent points that have been made, and many people would benefit from them being further elaborated on.
I hope if anyone looses their testimony by hearing this, know this....your testimony should never be in a man. I am not at all concerned about President Nelson’s membership to groups from his youth. However…. It is deeply troubling to witness a religious leader consistently leveraging the prestige of their professional career as a doctor to assert authority and influence. Such behavior feels out of step with the humility and service that should characterize spiritual leadership. Instead of connecting with the diverse and often struggling communities they are meant to serve, he appears more concerned with showcasing his own accomplishments. This self-aggrandizement alienates those seeking genuine guidance and compassion, leaving them disillusioned and disconnected from a leader who should embody empathy and humility.
The lawyer connection at the end was news to me. Another interesting thing about that abuse case was that the story hit the news during that week long social media fast that president Nelson called for. Makes it seem like suspicious timing, doesn't it? When we all get back online that story will be buried and not talked about in wider Mormon circles.

I wonder what their real question was to God in those prayers. It was absolutely wrong, but perhaps there were a few who were told to take it to for some other purpose. My sister died because of them. She and her husband took them because Pres Nelson said too. Apparently he persuaded her, but I don't think he had to try to hard. The entire rest of my family and my husband's family took them except my parents and 2 siblings. They all were not affected much. I know there were placebo ones and low dose ones, and the Utah chart showed we had the lowest doses with mRNA in it compared to all 50 states. I wonder if they gave the lowest because president Nelson said he and the presidency would all take it to show the church they were fine. Although, what is it, half the church is not in the US? How were they affected?
Just because something is secret doesn't mean that it's evil, there are things that we do in the temple that we try to keep secret play none of the Temple is evil.
Oh my bringing up Pres Nelson's daughter with involvement in child abuse? Glad this is being addressed! When you're part of a secret society you get benefits later on in life even for your family. That brings questions to mind?
This is the gate to many dark rabbit holes of what is still happening in Utah. There are other active cases out there against specific previous members of the church. Don't follow those unless you also seek light at the same time.

Honestly, I might be a bit too excitable for a guy like Connor... but I would certainly welcome the opportunity to chat with him. He seems to be reasonable, and open to examining all the evidence. This video is a great start to keep the conversation moving forward amongst church members regarding whom they want to affiliate with, support, and sustain. Oaks was a part of these types of groups too... so it doesn't end when Nelson dies, unfortunately.

And when I was very young in my teens my two cousins and I had fun with creating a secret organization just for us and we had a newspaper with only 1 volume ever having been written and never been published since like 40 years ago. It was fun. My bishop found out and made a huge debacle out of it that it could get is excommunicated and the church does not condone such a thing. Did you read the newspaoer article at the U of U about one guy who went crazy during the ceremony. He caused thousands in damage to the campis. U of U covered the costs.
There is also speculation that Wilford Woodruff was in Northern California during the dire financial and fragile existence of the LDS Church. Woodruff's purpose for being in NO CAL was for pleading for money with some contacts near Bohemian Grove. Wilford passed away in SanFrancisco I believe.
This info can be found in George Q Cannon’s journal- Wilford Woodruff and George Q Cannon (along with their wives) were at a banquet at the Bohemian Club in San Fransisco (which is different than the grove as far as activities, but the people were still considered the “elite”). Within a day President Woodruff fell ill and shortly there after passed away. It is my own personal theory that he may have been poisoned and became another martyred prophet.

@@SeekWidsom sort of a long story but it was an issue in my youth having to be interviewed by him. Some may chalk it up to being old school but it was more than that. Just absolutely uncalled for and still affects me to this day. He had a reputation (as told to me by my then stk Pres) and it really upsets me to think how many souls he destroyed. I feel blessed I’m still in the Church but don’t doubt there had to be some that struggle from his influence as well. He just had a very bad spirit to him and he was a 70 at the time. This doesn’t shake me at all. When I was in college, I was in a sorority club. It was literally to put on my résumé, and to network with people (also just to connect with peers )I was barely involved. My high school had a week where the new students got hazed. The hazing included the boys wearing dresses. It was an old school with old traditions. A lot of this stuff is traditional school stuff that was more common in the old days.

So that’s why the scriptures are always warning us to be on the lookout for false prophets, and telling us how to discern, look for the fruits, etc. If you are saying that the Lord wouldn’t allow a false prophet to be the president of the lds church, I would disagree. He allows people agency after all, and tells us not to trust in the arm of flesh.

Thank you for your courage and research for truth. It gives me hope of understanding the deceit of these last days. It in no way affects my testimony of Jesus Christ for my faith is in Him alone. Righteous men/women help with guidance IF they are righteous. It takes observation, prayer, knowledge of the scripture s, history and current events which few take the time to research. They ate therefore subjects of unfounded opinions which are often nothing more than gossip. I appreciate your hard work supported by my own.
Thank you for sharing more background about these matters, and for your careful analysis thereof. I'd also highly recommend the book America's Secret Establishment by historian Anthony Sutton about Yale's Order of Skull & Bones, as well as a chapter about S&B in the scholarly book Perfectibilists by Terry Melanson. Both Defending Utah and the Tree of Liberty Society have done some decent research into these matters also.
Looking forward to the hand wavy article from FAIR that says there's nothing to worry about or see here, and even if there was a problem with this secret combination, God obviously has his own version that doesn't count as evil when he does it.

Very reasonable discussion, and I just wanted to add a few comments.
What is your issue with his Eminence? The refusal to recognize gay marriages? His opposition to the war in Ukraine? His refusal to change the churches stance on birth control, contraceptives and abortion? In the history of the Church, their have actually been bad popes. The Pope is fine.
Just a few observations.. and admittedly I did not listen to the whole presentation although I applaud your indept research. 1- It seems to me that the LDS Church and Deseret Book usually promote the autobiographies of general authorities, especially presidents of the church. In this case TPTB seem to have gone to great length to suppress the book which is why it is difficult to obtain one and the cost is ridiculously high. Why suppress it?? Are they trying to hide something? By their fruits we shall know them. It seems clear to me that President Nelson's life testifies of his devotion to Jesus Christ and His restored Church. His Dad, Marion Clavar Nelson, was the President of Rotary in SLC. Nelson did eventually join the Navy, but also put in a "3rd Year" at East High School for unknown reasons.

While this was a very fair analysis, it was also very surface-level. The fact is that we don’t know what went/goes on in Skull and Bones, Utah chapter. Skull and Bones is considered one of the most secret of the secret societies. Nearly all of those college fraternities have bad things going on in them, anyway. Today there are Christians renouncing the oaths and repenting of the things they did while in fraternities and sororities. It isn’t just Skull and Bones and Owl and Key to be concerned about, but also the Beehive the Greek-named fraternities he was in. It does indeed sound like he joined these groups in order to get ahead in life, and he has indeed been extraordinarily successful. Is there any reason to believe he has renounced any of what he did in those societies? I think not. When it comes to someone who is the highest ranking leader of a very large church, and who also claims to be a prophet-if he is a legit servant of the Lord, I would expect such a man to confess and renounce something like this. But he hasn’t….even though members have been concerned about it for a while now, he hasn’t addressed it…

3 Nephi 16:10 clearly teaches exactly what you said. Twice in that verse the Savior said he was commanded by the Father to teach it. Then in chapter 17 he said he would come and teach it again which he does in 3 Nephi 20-23. If we are surprised by this, we haven’t read the scriptures or we don’t believe them.
Very often secret societies will have groups within groups. The outer group can be very nice and pleasant. However, the inner group can have a totally different agenda.

Our church literally joined with other NGO’s in petitioning the government to enact mandates. We were just some passive victims orderly, following what the government recommended. Our church was on the offense, pushing members into feeling obligated to get these injections all while publicly eating any member who wanted an exemption. I’m sure you’ve seen all the quotes and videos where they publicly supported mandatory vaccination, and where elder Oaks and Rasband step up on stages making fun of members and shaming members and condemning members who didn’t get themselves in their children’s injected with this crap. Rasband in particular even directly said that he prayed to God and just like every other leader of the church he got her direct answer (revelation, no?) that every member including children needed to get injected if they wanted to be true followers.

that trust question is certainly a natural conclusion. But that is actually the beauty of it, because nobody should trust the prophet and RM Nelson gave us a wonderful and effective answer and clue: “… coming days… difficult survive spiritually… without…. holy ghost”. I didn’t trust anything after that, which is good. I trust the Holy Ghost in my search for truth and for people who help me in the understanding and making sense of all the current corrupt commotion inside the church. The church and gospel and God only gets even more validated with this revelation. From a personal revelation God told me “Don’t condemn my prophet”. Jesus knows and His vindication is coming. Not even a second washing and anointing can save the elect-corrupt. But he still has keys that we all need.
Thank you for putting this together. It was very thorough and well thought out. I do have a few questions and points to make:
1. Was Wendy Nelson a member of the Acorn society that you mentioned?
2. Why don’t you think that the Yale chapter ever sued the U chapter if there was no connection?
3. Why do you think Pres Nelson auto biography Heart to Heart was taken out of print and now to buy one will cost you over $1,000?
4. Russell Nelson probably joined several groups and was most likely very susceptible because he was so young and looking for acceptance.

Did you know that President Nelson wrote his own forward in Heart to Heart and passed it off as Spencer W. Kimball writing it? In the acknowledgements in the front of the book, RMN writes "... and to express his approbation for the manuscript, President Kimball further complimented me and my family by writing the forward that graces this book...." According to SWK's son, his father "passed it off" but he did NOT write it. If that's the case he was certainly full of himself writing about himself saying it was SWK. How is that being humble and honest?

I think it would be great for you to dive deeper into this subject in another video. Specifically addressing the concerns of many people in this comments section. I have seen multiple intelligent points that have been made, and many people would benefit from them being further elaborated on.
I hope if anyone looses their testimony by hearing this, know this....your testimony should never be in a man. I am not at all concerned about President Nelson’s membership to groups from his youth. However….
It is deeply troubling to witness a religious leader consistently leveraging the prestige of their professional career as a doctor to assert authority and influence. Such behavior feels out of step with the humility and service that should characterize spiritual leadership. Instead of connecting with the diverse and often struggling communities they are meant to serve, he appears more concerned with showcasing his own accomplishments. This self-aggrandizement alienates those seeking genuine guidance and compassion, leaving them disillusioned and disconnected from a leader who should embody empathy and humility.

The lawyer connection at the end was news to me. Another interesting thing about that abuse case was that the story hit the news during that week long social media fast that president Nelson called for. Makes it seem like suspicious timing, doesn't it? When we all get back online that story will be buried and not talked about in wider Mormon circles.

There is also speculation that Wilford Woodruff was in Northern California during the dire financial and fragile existence of the LDS Church. Woodruff's purpose for being in NO CAL was for pleading for money with some contacts near Bohemian Grove. Wilford passed away in SanFrancisco I believe.

This info can be found in George Q Cannon’s journal- Wilford Woodruff and George Q Cannon (along with their wives) were at a banquet at the Bohemian Club in San Fransisco (which is different than the grove as far as activities, but the people were still considered the “elite”). Within a day President Woodruff fell ill and shortly there after passed away.
It is my own personal theory that he may have been poisoned and became another martyred prophet.

@@SeekWidsom sort of a long story but it was an issue in my youth having to be interviewed by him. Some may chalk it up to being old school but it was more than that. Just absolutely uncalled for and still affects me to this day. He had a reputation (as told to me by my then stk Pres) and it really upsets me to think how many souls he destroyed. I feel blessed I’m still in the Church but don’t doubt there had to be some that struggle from his influence as well. He just had a very bad spirit to him and he was a 70 at the time. It’s hard for me to trust leadership because of it. They can be one way over the pulpit but behind closed doors are completely opposite. Plus it was very very political because of all involved.
This doesn’t shake me at all. When I was in college, I was in a sorority club. It was literally to put on my résumé, and to network with people (also just to connect with peers )I was barely involved. And besides, a lot of that stuff is kids stuff typical of those college years when we were young and impressionable. We all have pasts that aren’t shining examples. We all grow up. I believe in the atonement of Jesus Christ. That can clean up anything.

Thank you for your courage and research for truth. It gives me hope of understanding the deceit of these last days. It in no way affects my testimony of Jesus Christ for my faith is in Him alone. Righteous men/women help with guidance IF they are righteous. It takes observation, prayer, knowledge of the scripture s, history and current events which few take the time to research. They ate therefore subjects of unfounded opinions which are often nothing more than gossip. I appreciate your hard work supported by my own.
Thank you for sharing more background about these matters, and for your careful analysis thereof. I'd also highly recommend the book America's Secret Establishment by historian Anthony Sutton about Yale's Order of Skull & Bones, as well as a chapter about S&B in the scholarly book Perfectibilists by Terry Melanson. Both Defending Utah and the Tree of Liberty Society have done some decent research into these matters also.
Looking forward to the hand wavy article from FAIR that says there's nothing to worry about or see here, and even if there was a problem with this secret combination, God obviously has his own version that doesn't count as evil when he does it.
I offered to give FAIR all my research on this topic, and they plainly stated they're not interested in the truth, but only wish to "debunk" the idea that Skull and Bones is a secret society. I have the email, and have published it from time to time. It's from Scott Gordon, President of FAIR.

I think you have evaluated well, and I would submit as a non fraternity member, but who has many family members involved who are pretty tight lipped about their initiations and the activities , that many may regret some of the things they were subjected to, and maybe inflicted on others like in many sports teams. My HS Madrigal singer group, was kidnapped and hazed moderately one day by the graduating students, and as a HS Seminary officer was also kidnapped one early morning and went through some moderately tame, yet annoying obstacles and treatment for several hours with heads in a pillow case. Regarding the Fellow Bonesman Jim Jardine, he is a lifelong close friend and classmate along with his wife of President Nelsons family members, so it is not really a Bones connection. Very reasonable discussion, and I just wanted to add a few comments.

Just a few observations.. and admittedly I did not listen to the whole presentation although I applaud your indept research.
1- It seems to me that the LDS Church and Deseret Book usually promote the autobiographies of general authorities, especially presidents of the church. In this case TPTB seem to have gone to great length to suppress the book which is why it is difficult to obtain one and the cost is ridiculously high. Why suppress it?? Are they trying to hide something? Reminds me of how the church website says that Elder Maxwell worked for the government for a period of time rather than admitting that he worked for the CIA.
2- For the local chapter to suggest that it has no connection with the Yale skull and bones is laughable.. the Yale chapter would never allow another fraternity at another university to copy its name. at the very least they would have been sued by the very powerful and well connected alumni of the secret order.. more likely they would have been found floating face down with cement slippers on.
3- That fact that Skull and Bones was established in 1832 within a year of the Lord warning the saints that "the enemy is combined... in the secret chambers" is an intriguing timing coincidence.
4- With the declaration from the Lord that he wants us all to be meek and equal and does not want people to "excel" above their fellow men, (58:41) it is interesting that PN chose to forgo a mission and enjoy university and fraternity life so that he could get well connected and excel above others in life.
5- Obviously the most revealing thing about Nelson is his admonition to inject the "safe and effective" poison into our Holy Temples of God. Clearly an inspired prophet.

By their fruits we shall know them. It seems clear to me that President Nelson's life testifies of his devotion to Jesus Christ and His restored Church. I understand why some people would have serious questions about the Church's COVID-19 response but, although I don't pretend to understand this response fully, I trust the intentions of those involved, and that if anything about it needs correcting, then the Lord will correct it in His own due time---but it's not my place to figuratively "steady the ark."

His Dad, Marion Clavar Nelson, was the President of Rotary in SLC. Nelson did eventually join the Navy, but also put in a "3rd Year" at East High School for unknown reasons.

I have been researching this stuff for over two years now and it isn't as gentle as the outline Connor has given but I think he was trying to be objective and doesn't know enough about it to speak confidently about it.

Why would you falsely accuse or assume them guilty when the investigation provided them to be innocent of the horrible accusations?
