The concept:
Another title of this podcast is "English words in disguise" ;)
Did it happen to you to stare at a word in Hebrew, not understanding what it means, then spending a while looking it up - only to realize that it's… an English word! An English word in disguise! :) Staring you in the face, spelled with Hebrew letters, pronunciation changed so much to match Hebrew phonetics that it's practically impossible to recognize it at the first take!
These are the words that we've chosen to be our conversation starters! For you - a chance to get your ear trained and used to the unfamiliar sound of a familiar word, for us - a chance to have an interesting conversation on an unexpected and interesting topic! Let's see where it takes us!
I saw this video like 2 years ago while studying Hebrew. I remember this video being so difficult for me to understand. And now its like a beginner video for me lol. I love it
i am really struggling finding a free resources. could you give a tip please. i want to improve my hebrew fast.
I started with duolingo, I finished around 3/4 of the Hebrew course. Then I switched to an App called LingQ and I do that everyday. @@kurkar3011
Shalom, is it possible to add Hebrew subtitles? תודה
Is she Russian? Or ex-soviet? She sounds in that way. But it helps me to understand better, so I like it (and my daughter is called Alisa as well)
שיתפתי את הסרטון הזה עם כמה מחבריי. נהניתי מזה.
Salam from Turkey, i liked your language , it sounds extremely different from Arabic even though they are said cousin languages, Hebrew sounds like very easy something French alike in developed east culture.i really like it a lot. at least it sounds like normal to learn not like Arabic.
subtitle, Transcript please
Your voice is very cute, Alisa 😆
Yes, we do say people speak in other tongues. Or, I'm studying the Hebrew tougue.
Em 6:05 Por que ela "mordeu a chave"?
I shocked when he said לישון (שפה)
כי גם אנחנו בשפה ערבית משתמשים זה מילה (לשון) כמו מילה שפה (ליסאן) 😍
Yees, it's always so much fun and surprising to see how Hebrew and Arabic are similar!!!
לשון - we say that only about Hebrew. It's LASHON, no "i" ;) All other languages are שפות (SAFOT) :)
I wish if there was an Hebrew CC
But it's still good and easy though
תודה רבה על כל מה אתם עושים לעזרה אותנו ללמוד זה שפה היפה ❤️
Thank you!!! Adding subs takes forever... but I have a transcript! It may work as well - did you see it - in the description? :)

שלום-שלום! "כותרות משנה" - למה הכוונה? :) יש גם תמליל (transcript) - ראית? :)
@@TheHebrewHub כן, אני
מבין - אבל בתור דובר אנגלית
- (it is a lot easier if the transcript is on the same screen as the Hebrew) .. 😊
גם בהונגרית אומרים לשון
שלום אני מארגנטינה . אני מאוד אוהבת את השפה העברית אני מלמדת אותה ..אפשר לשים כתובות לווידאו. השיחות והנושאים מעניינים . אבל בלי כתובות אי אפשר ללמד כי זה קל יותר לקרא ולשמוע . שני דברים . ז
