just think the traveler choosing outside what we would commonly assume is good is an important plot point since they have been building up to the idea that darkness and light aren't good and bad just 2 sides its the witness thats bad and its nor 100% that they ARE the darkness just that they use it better then us
As I was at the end of watching this video, I was remembering how when Xbox and Halo first came out they released you know like companion novels to further the story and lower behind the game. I was wondering if Dyer or any books/novels or comics of the same type for the destiny/Destiny 2 available?
I never understood what actually caused the whirlwind for the Eliksni. When the traveler left they still had all of their gifts and advances right? It didnt take that with it.
The darkness (really the Witness) has been hunting the traveler for a long time. The traveler left because the darkness found it with the Eliksni, basically causing their own version of a collapse. It killed millions of Eliksni and destroyed much of their technology with it.
Well when the traveler left Riis, the darkness invaded the planet and tore the Eliksni to ashes. Even if they had advanced and well developed technology, it wouldn’t have mattered in the long run because the eliksni weren’t paracausal, and so they couldn’t even put up a fight again the darkness and what I assume to be the black fleet too. Hopefully that clears up a bit of things. That part of lore is still pretty scruffy so hopefully we can get some answers in the final shape or in the episodes to follow, but I heavily doubt it.
