As a fellow 32 ft. Class C owner, your videos have been an inspiration to me. Your completed RV improvements are my planned improvements! Some are finished, some are still on the spreadsheet to be done. The lighting change to the round LED type really updates the look of the cabin. Our layout was a bit different. We removed the double bunks and replaced the bottom bunk with a full desk area. Another improvement that I did was add a hinged lid to one of the large drawers in the bedroom in front of the bed as well as changed the drawer slides to 100 lb units. That drawer is now dual purpose. It's a dirty laundry drawer and since the bed is too high it's a seat to sit on to change clothes. Solar addition is next. Keep up the great videos.
Great job. I wonder if the manufacturers pay attention. Sometimes at RV shows I am amazed at the lack of functionality and common sense of the designs. Most of them should be watching your channel.
I think they should watch my channel too :) It's been a while since we've visited an RV show. When we go, we're usually just looking for DIY project ideas. Most of the time, I come away with very few.
It would do no good. The RV industry is stuck in the malaise of mediocrity. Nothing has changed in forever. Its better to find the shell you like and do what Brian has done. Its a lot of work but really...even an airstream is crap inside compared to what you can do yourself. Whoops...did I say that last bit out louid? My bad...
@@geraldhenrickson7472 It's for exactly the reasons you stated that I chose an older model RV with low mileage. Every component in it still works great (although we did replace the house battery) the structure is sturdy, and the cabinetry is solid wood. It doesn't look cheap and flashy like so many of the newer models do.
Sandra Westley from the UK normally our vans are updated every 2 years or so with light furniture and better colour soft furnishings, as there’s a fair bit of competition within the manufactures, but we have much more insulation and aluminium roofs sandwiched with insulation, I am amazed at these rubber roofs that they do, with only a life of about 12 years, we have never had anything like that, it’s always been for 45 years proper aluminium roofs. When I was a child using my uncles van so that’s nearly 70 years ago we still had aluminium roofs.

Thanks so much for the great feedback. I really appreciate it. It can be difficult to decide what to show and what not to show. There was a ton to cover in this video which could have easily been multiple videos. I'm glad the length didn't scare you away. Yes. We love the paper towel holder too :)

That's very kind of you to say. I'm so glad you've been inspired by our projects. We feel the same way. We buy things that will last and keep them for ever :) Even if I'd buy another rig, I'd probably still keep this one.
Great job on the upgrades, I too have have done several upgrades over the years, and because it changes just a little bit all the time, it is surprising the difference when looking at old pictures of our rig just at how much has changed. One thing I would like to mention, about the RecPro recliners, I too have them, but they always bothered my lower back. I ended up removing the bottom wooden support bar inside of the backrest. Waaaaay more comfortable, and does not cause any support problems to the back rests. I have been using it that way for over a year now.
Love your tv lift cabinet. I am buying a 32 foot Thor coach and I am actually thinking of getting rid of the theater seats in there and building a computer desk/workstation but I absolutely love your mod and it has me rethinking my plan 😂
Nice work on your upgrades and mod’s. I’ve been inspired by your use of magnets and when we had our 30’ Airstream and in our new house, I’ve used magnets for so many items. They are easily hidden, work without batteries and are simple to use. Thanks for your ideas and the time it takes to do these video’s.
I really enjoy all of your videos, they are so informative. I have a 2008 Thor Chateau Sport 29R that I have been renovating and all was going fairly well until it came time to work on the Overhead Bunk Area. I bought it used and looked it over very carefully before the purchase, although my experience was limited to a small, brand new travel trailer. I keep a cover over it when it is not being used. From the time of the purchase until I got to the overhead bunk, mold had seeped through the underlayment below the cushions, which was a total surprise. I have no idea if the previous owner covered the damage or the dealership did. It's neither here nor there, at this point. After reinforcing the seams in the roof area, I have been tearing out the floor of the bunk area, ceiling and passenger side wall, where all of the damage is. The wood was crumbling so badly that I did not even realize I was pulling on very thin sheet metal. My question is, does new sheet metal need to be replaced on the ceiling before I put in new plywood? There are about 3 thin strips (5 inches) and don't seem to be attached to anything. Only half the ceiling is bad, the remainder seems to be in good shape. Should I replace the entire ceiling? I'm pretty handy, have all of the tools and I know I can do this.. I can't afford to have the dealership do it. I just can't find any videos that are providing the information that I am looking for. I want to see the demolition, not just the rebuild. Hi Brian - Excellent job on all your upgrades! We’re going to order RecPro recliners soon. I’ve searched & cannot find how you secured them to the floor. Can you send me the link/info? Also love the cup holder table idea!
Hi Sharon. I used a couple of conduit clamps that went over the rear rail underneath the screwed it to the floor. I found that anchoring the back was all that was needed so it didn't rock forward when reclined. Hope that helps.

What is the year, make and model of your coach, please? I'm looking to buy a used coach and this size and layout looks ideal for me. I've looked at lots of your vids and you are a true inspiration and a great resource for all of us, Brian. Thank you!
Great work.
How you managed to fit in large recliner through a small door of the RV ?
They come in two pieces so they fit nicely.
At the 99 cent only has USB port fan tor $3.99 that will help keep you cool or want to stir warm air.
Thanks. Good to know. I have several fans too. The little USB one I have is great.
@@RVwithTito I had a vent fan for the crank up white cap vent and the 12 volt fan made too much noise to be pleasurable. I replaced it with the little USB fan which is much quieter than the one that came with the vent when I installed it into the roof of a used GMC U-Haul box truck.
great tour! hey those blinds in the kitchen... I thought RVs had those due to shades being a fire hazard...?
Hmmm. Didn't think of that. Makes a lot of sense. 👍
Do you have a video on how you did floors in bedroom with the slide?
No sorry. But the slide in the bathroom doesn't affect the floor. The bed moves in and out, but the base stays fixed.
@@RVwithTito Did you just cut the carpet around the bed away
@@LK-gf3bs Oh yes. Thats what I did. There is still carpet under the bed where all the electrical stuff is.
I wish I was TITOFIED! You are AMAZING! I was just thinking 🤔... Do you even realize how talented you are? What an amazing talent, to be able to envision something then create it! I know I’ve mentioned this to you already but (ITH) Incredible Tiny Homes would give anything to have you. This is my personal question to you, would you ever consider building a tiny home? I’m really interested in one and I have watched all your project videos and your work is so neat and well thought out and your intelligence is amazing, I wouldn’t even hesitate to hire you to build my little dream tiny home approximately 8x16 or so. Thanks Tito
Wow. You're very welcome. Tiny homes are pretty cool too. It would be a fun project.
Wow this is the same one I just tried to buy in the last two weeks. :) I guess the people bought it that had the sale pending.
Hahah..I see what you did at 9:27 🤣
Great video, can I ask where you found that paper towel holder?
Can't remember if it was Walmart or Target.
@@RVwithTito Thanks, the quality looked a little too good for Walmart, I'll check Target first. Have a good evening.
Those folding chairs are really nice, where did you get them?
Yes ... I’d like to know that too!
I got them at Bed, Bath and Beyond and roughly $40 each.
Awesome job ..I'm gonna copy you thanks 😅 could you please tell me where you got the folding chairs ?
Thanks. I think I got them at Bed Bath and Beyond. They must have been in the Beyond section :)
Great job!!
Thank you!
Im listening now.
Nice work!
Hi Tito, love your channel. What brand is the recliner unit that you installed in this video?
Awesome work nice
Thank you! Cheers!
Thank you love your chanel DIY love love
You are so welcome!
Do you have a video that has the over cab window covering project?
Sorry. Not. It's just something I did a while back.
👍👍✌️nice and easy thanks.
Tried to see your supply list and link doesn’t work.
How did you get these recliners inside to fit through small door of the RV ?
My husband asks: How did you get the recliner into the RV? Our doors of C class 29-foot wouldn't have room he's sure. Thanks in advance!
Each recliner comes in 2 pieces to fit in the door. They snap together once inside the RV.
@@RVwithTito Thank you! My husband has found them online and is hot on the trail! lol
You always say you are going to post information on the products you use, but I can’t seem to figure out where. Can anyone help me figure that out?
You should be an RV interior designer
Eek! Probably not :) Maybe just on my interiors.
