I love the drone footage. It helps to see the layout plus you showed the car from the outside rather than from inside. It's easy to follow along on your videos.
Strangely, I’ve struggled with exits at large unfamiliar roundabouts for 30 years. It should be simple, and lane discipline is crucial. This helped. Many thanks.🙏🌞🇬🇧🙏
Your videos really helped to keep me calm coming up to my driving test. I had my test yesterday and when I thought I messed up, I remembered that you said not to think about it, as you can’t change it. Anyways I passed!! Thank you for these videos :)
I have been following this channel since last year I found it really helpful. i pass my driving today this channel is best in UK for learner I recommend everyone if want pass the driving I want thanks to everyone work on this channel best off luck for everyone
Thanks your videos helped me pass my test yesterday I was doing the same counting not just in my head I was saying loud while the examiner was next to me Lol 😂 he might be thinking what wrong with her😳
very simple very good basic nothing to it still doing good few mistakes but still watch and it's been a while when he can fit me in I stalled sporting a bit little things overall ye ok I revise speeding one anyway
Lovely and clearly explained. I noticed that when taking the 3rd exit, he stayed in the left-hand lane. Yet the exit was not at 12:00. Is that okay to do?
How do you know which lane to start in before making your way onto the motorway?? I always thought if you're existing in the 1st or 2nd exist, then be in the left lane but you were both in the right and left lane for the 2nd exist 🤷🏽
On the sign the 3rd exit is at 12 o’clock position, so we should treat it as straight ahead and use the left lane. This video might help: ruclips.net/video/r8UGFa3QuVc/видео.html 👍🏼
Got a question, on what circumstances can a driver be on the left hand side when your taking the exit and preventing you from exiting ? Where do they come from ? Can you do a video please.
That is where other traffic join the roundabout after leaving a dual carriageway. The acute angle of the road shows that we should not try to drive up there, and there are also No Entry signs just out of the camera view. 👍🏼
Have you tried improving your reaction times by playing games or using an app on your phone? When driving quick reactions could save your life in an emergency, so pay attention and be ready to react!
@@AdvanceDrivingSchool I haven’t yet, but I will try now :) it’s only a fraction of a second, I did just start driving however, and I seem to get better by the day
is it true that if you’re on your driving test and someone flashes their light for you to go and you go is an instant fail? some people have failed for this, doesn’t really make sense to me as if they’re slowing down and holding up traffic to help you make progress and you don’t go that would make more sense?
That would depend on the situation. It’s important to remember that we shouldn’t trust other people’s judgement, and that we should always check for ourselves that it is safe to go. If we see another driver flash or wave at us - take your time to look properly for danger before continuing. Not doing this could put us in danger and result in a test fail.
Problem with roundabouts is 50% of drivers don’t seem to know what lane they need to be in, and worse still road planners and new roads often have lane guidance that isn’t clear and encourages cars to cut in front of other drivers.
I did my exam 1st time and failed it, i did the parking great btw, beforehand the whole time my instructor told me you are driving well you are doing really good you will get it and all that and it wasnt no sucker stuff just for confidence ,he genuinely thought i was good enough, while me on the other hand didnt think that at all like tf i did only 10 hours without driving ever my first 10 hours and the last 2 i did them with other people like i basically did 9 hours only how tf u gonna teach someone how to drive a car in 9 hours man. All im saying like is there some kind of interest going into this stuff for you going into an exam and he profits something or he just like he can drive and doesnt bother much and just hope u get the driving exam correctly, he still telling me i dont need no extra lessons im good to drive and he will just do half an hour with me the day before exam and i will get it, like i want to know from a profession point is he trynna play or what because like tf at least tell me if i need more wheel time so i can be better.
The DVSA say that the average driver needs 47 hours of lessons before passing their test. It sounds like you just need more time to get ready for your next test. Good luck 🤞🏼
Despite being the base for a driving school with arguably the highest quality video resources for learner drivers in the UK, Bury St. Edmonds has one of the lowest pass rates: 36.2% in 2019-20. Can anyone shed light on this conundrum?
We think it’s probably because the town has a lot of busy roundabouts, and the average test candidate is under-prepared for the test. Our pass rate is considerably higher - so it’s all down to having enough driving experience really.
@@AdvanceDrivingSchool Thanks for your reply. Difficult for a single good school to make a difference I guess. Hopefully you'll expand and bring up the overall standard. Keep up the good work!
Other drivers who got their license but failed first time how do you build your confidence up like im fing shatttered on how tf i didnt get my license of a stupid mistakr that i know how to do how do you recover from that like bruh im sad asf man

Nice videos

If going straight ahead we should use the left lane unless road markings say otherwise. The number of the exit doesn’t matter.
How do you know which lane to start in before making your way onto the motorway??

Which Lane at Roundabouts?: ruclips.net/video/W8Q9Y2pkEiY/видео.html
If road markings allow you to turn left on the right lane, do I have to signal left if I am turning left from the right lane?
Yes - as it will help other people understand where we are going. 👍🏼
Do you have roundabouts videos on multi lanes
We have many videos about roundabouts with two lanes, but not more as we don't have any in our area.
just a question: at 3:55 since 3rd exit is after "12 o clock" we should enter from the right lane not the left, is it true?
On the sign the 3rd exit is at 12 o’clock position, so we should treat it as straight ahead and use the left lane. This video might help: ruclips.net/video/r8UGFa3QuVc/видео.html 👍🏼
I’ve got my driving test on Thursday any tips :)
We have a whole playlist on our channel for you!
Got a question, on what circumstances can a driver be on the left hand side when your taking the exit and preventing you from exiting ? Where do they come from ? Can you do a video please.
It’s generally someone who is following us that gets impatient and tries to undertake us. We’ll try to do a video 👍🏼
4:00 on large round about, the road before you turned to your 3rd exit, didn't indicate no entry, how would you know this is not the third exist?
That is where other traffic join the roundabout after leaving a dual carriageway. The acute angle of the road shows that we should not try to drive up there, and there are also No Entry signs just out of the camera view. 👍🏼
Hi, saw your anxiety video, but can you possibly do anything about reaction times? My instructor always tells me my reactions are too slow
Have you tried improving your reaction times by playing games or using an app on your phone? When driving quick reactions could save your life in an emergency, so pay attention and be ready to react!

At 4:03 wouldn’t you need to signal right as it is 3rd exit I’m a bit lost
When going straight ahead there is no need to signal. We should only indicate right when turning right!

Thanks i really apreciate it in that 47 hours do you include lectures also or just practice?
@@travismichael351 I expect they mean total time taken for lessons, including briefings and actual driving.
