It looks like she is trying hard to be polite and gracious, but she does not seem to be enjoying or appreciating the interview. I understand everything that the host is saying, as well as comments from his entourage, and much of it sounds pretty silly and almost insulting and disrespectful to Anggun.

the issue is that he is listing a bunch of facts about her personal life and making it awkward. she cannot really say anything other than "yes" "no" etc. I wish he asked more open ended questions for her.

I have another perspective as an Indonesian and Javanese. To get to your perspective we may require cultural knowledge on French society (I myself have limited knowledge on this), whether it is disrespectful or a means of appreciations. But from the show (including their gestures), Anggun is highly respected and appreciated for her great achievement.
