I know most people here listening to this music have brought with them their heavy, broken hearts, trying to express their pains in hope of help and understanding. They have a deep, unquenchable thirst for love and peace, feeling misunderstood and alone. Their laughter is empty and forced. They smile, but inside they are weeping like a child. Day by day, they drag their feet across the floor, living their lives blankly, knowing that no one will ever understand, and no one will care.
I care. I might just be a small burning candle in this dark, empty world, but I try to let my light illuminate the sadness of misunderstood, broken lives.

I'm tired. But I don't know why. I have a family that loves me, I have friends that care for me, I have good grades, I'm surrounded by people that loves me. But still, I feel so empty. Like if something was missing. Like if out there was something that can improve my life in so many ways, but I can't find it. I don't feel complete. I'm happy, can't deny it. But I'm so tired at the same time. And it makes me feel confused and desperate because I want to find that thing so badly. I want to feel alive and happy, completely happy. I need to find it. I don't know how long that is going to take; it could be days, weeks, months, years. But when I do I'll come back here and find this.

I wish I knew what sadness is like. Or do I actually want to know? It seems like those who are able to feel sad can get pretty devastated by it. Some even get to the point where they just can't take life's nonsense anymore and commit suicide. Sadness seems like a powerful emotion, maybe that's why I can't feel it.
But you, who can feel sad, I want you to know that you are better than me and most people in general. I don't have a heart, nor do they. People like you are rare, so rare in fact, you guys are almost extinct. So, every time you feel like giving up, or feel worthless, think about that. You're a diamond among the dirt, so shine.

Sadness is truly the strongest and deepest emotion I have felt and feel everyday. I struggle with depression and it gets overwhelming but I don't want to lose it. It's a double edged sword, without it you truly can't appreciate the good times in life and it can be a driving force to change one's self for the better but it van also drive one to want to end it all. I know this all to well.
I feel that sadness is my favorite emotion. Some may dump on me for saying all that but this is just how I feel about it.

Trust me, you don't want my sadness. I'm 16, almost 17, I may be young... Be having no positive memories for my whole childhood so far...my story is extremy sad... And I'm complete my alone in my struggle... Sadness since I can remember, depression since I was 11, what's worse is how I'm completely alone.. Have nothing to really enjoy... Have nothing positive to tell others.... I'm completely empty now... Lost... Trust me, some sadness is fine... But you dont want my sadness to the point the only solution is too get my memories wiped of my whole childhood. It gives me nightmares... And nobody is able to understand me... And what's worse is when you talk about it... And people shun and laugh at you... A permanent life scar... And lost 17 good years.. Meant to get good memories, wasted away. I'm unique, yes, but so unique that nobody understands me, so I'm completely alone.

Growing up, I felt the absence of my father and the pain of my mother. And how she drank wine like she wished it was poison. But I'm here to say that everything will be okay. It really is going to be. It's not a pleasant world is what they make us believe. But I don't regret a single ounce of pain I've felt in my life. My pain makes me. I was depressed. Anxiety.

I actually love and enjoy this type of music. It completely centers me in the depth of my soul. It isn't that high adrenaline, high dopamine fury of an illusion. This music to me is deep, though with a touch of melancholy. It's a whole different type of energy: penetrating not shallow, resonating not shrill. We are not all A1 personality types. Some of us (see below) are rather deep people and deeply affected by events as well as music. Let it touch your soul and center you in eternity for a while. You come back totally changed!!!!
