It is so important that this truth about our history is brought to light! My people were some of the first black, native & white pioneers of the Collingwood and Kent County ( outside Chatham)in Southern Ontario. The pioneer burial ground is one of the first triracial cemetery in Canada. My brave ancestors escaped Slavery and fought for our freedom in Runchey's Corp. Thank you for this video. May the truth rise! 🙏

I wish I had learned about this in my History class. I think that the history of Priceville is still something that happens to far too many people in Canada.

It's so sad to hear about the mistreatment of the people who settled here and how the graves of their departed loved ones were disrespected. I hope that they can relocate all of the people from the cemetery and that they can be laid to rest in a permanent,, and respectful manner. Canadian politicians are quick to accuse others of human rights violations but they should take an honest account of what they have done. I was born in the late 1950s, so this didn't happen so very long before I was born. Thank you for making this video.

Well doesn’t this just bring back a bit of the simpler times. I hope you also upload the segments for all of us who’ve rid TV services from our lives.

She didn’t tell us where the first settlers moved to, though, once they were forcibly removed from their land. Anyone know?

Exactement comme nous au Canada français. Les Britanniques ont pris nos terres et ont déportés les Acadiens.
