Hey y'all, don't be alarmed by the late vlog. It's IVIG recovery day which means I'm moving slow, taking it easy, and sleeping A LOT. (: P.S. Y'all know I do my best to reply to comments, but today that may not happen. Just a heads up! Like I said, I am sleeping... a lot!
As someone who deals with a chronic illness and had a lot of fears about social relationships with it I have to say Judd gives me a ton of hope. He's amazing. You are also amazing, thank you for making those of us who deal with stuff like this feel less alone.
I haven't watched the whole thing yet so I hope it went even better than you possibly have hoped for!!! Medical stuff is one of my autistic special interests, so the extra precautions got me interested, especially since the aseptic meningitis (I had it back in '07) so I need to beat this to mush so my special interest will be satisfied. Please feel free to ignore EVERYTHING, except for my deeply sincere and feverish hope that this IVIG infusion is the best one yet!!! ****** Special Interest Warning****** My brain cannot process so much IV Benadryl AND that big dose of IV steroids too. I know what they're for, don't get me wrong, but while I was on precautionary IV steroids (I took my Benedryl orally) when they first put me on doubles for Remicaid, the combo of the three made me seriously crazy-pants and confused my body. The results, though, besides the side effects were very positive. BUT!!! I had no signs of anaphylaxis, which was the only reason I agreed to the steroids in the first place. Even though I'd been on and off Remicaid since 2003, there is precedent for anaphylaxis when restarting the Remicaid. The risk goes up proportionally the longer you've been off Remicaid and doubling the dose on top of that...it made enough sense to me to agree, even though I have never had any kind of severe reaction in the 15 years I've been on and forced off it due to insurance issues. But since the Remicaid always knocked me sideways, the steroids messed with my brain and blood sugar. (I'm insulin resistant) I've babbled on long enough. I am very impressive at the precautions and hopeful this will be another step towards IVIG just being a regular thing and the most you have to look out for are protocols for a blood product. 💚💚💚
Jaquie, you have really opened my eyes to life with chronic illness and helped debunk misconceptions I had before. You're doing a great job spreading awareness for all of your illnesses. Keep up the good work!!
Oh and the other day on the Livestream with you and janeice I was the one that asked if you've ever gone to a military hospital. I asked because my husband and I live in Virginia Beach while he works on base here and when I have to go to the hospital for checkups or ER visits they take me to Portsmouth because all my doctor's are there and all my information is filed there as well. So I didn't know if you'd ever experienced going to one or not with Judd doing his work with the military. (Thank him for his service for me as well please. I come from a military family and ik how hard things can be even for deployments and when they get called away to work like with Irma. It's all definitely worth it though knowing what they're doing and when they finally come home)
I need a doggy like Harlow to make me laugh the way she does! I love the way she gets "out of her mind" crazy after her baths! She is such a cute little pupper stealing your shoe! Goldens are the best!
Yay to a fourth round of IVIG. Hope you're doing ok from this one and continue to improve. Don't worry about being late we understand you'll inform us on what is going on when you can. Oh and my ESA does the same when she's asleep next to me. Her tail wags and she Huff's like she's barking happily. They are so cute when they do that.
Glad you're doing ok! I watched one of your older videos for my fix, it was so interesting since in the video Judd mentioned the idea of a feeding tube and you didn't even want to talk about it at that point. I'm so glad you've had so much success with it!!
I'm glad IVIG is going well for you so far!💉I'm hoping it'll continue to work for you. I didn't notice you posted later. I just get excited when I see who all has uploaded💻 and I scroll until I find you!! Harlow is so funny and looks very fluffy now. 🐶 Also I hope Judd was able to rest more as well. 💤
Greetings from "Down Under"! I'm on Vacation in Australia and just got access to the internet and first thing I did was catch up on the Vlogs I missed! So happy for all the good news for you & the family! I love when I see the "bath shorts" too as I love watching Harlow's zoomies. She looks a lot like my old dog from high school and until I saw this, I thought my dog was just nuts! Ok, off to explore :-)
Hey Jaquie, I thought the increased fluids to help the IVIG is really interesting. I would LIKE to trial IVIG but its rarely given in Australia. So we'll see what happens. I"ll just have to talk to one of my doctors next time I see him and see what he thinks. Thanks for always being so clear in explaining things and how they work for you and always having a good sense of humour even when you're struggling. Praying for you and hope the side effects aren't too bad. - Telle xoxox
My dog ALWAYS runs around like that after her bath. She would always rub on things like Harlow does to try and get her old scent back so she didn't smell clean. Judd's haircut looks nice!
You are amazing!!! Stay strong and healthy. I love your dog. She is so cute. Soon I am adopting a German Shepherd.......!!!!! It's good when you have someone to care about you. ....!!!! Awesome family. I have only one person to care for me......rest of the family is in Europe.
Hey Jaquie ! I’m a surgical nurse in Canada. It’s interesting watching you do your own infusions and being educated and informed with all your treatments. I find that iv toradol is great especially for joint pain. Find out if you can use the iv toradol 15mg q4h For 24hrs after the ivig infusion is done. It should help with your pain. Much love! Sending positive vibes your way. 💕😘
Hi Jaquie. I'm glad ivig went ok for the daytime and praying the night was also good. You and your family are ADORABLE and i love you all. PRAYERS ALWAYS
Infusions wear me out also ...I was suprised to see you up ..and toradol helps also but salumedoral I dred ...I always try to stay away from prednisone when I can ...
Lupus Warrior live laugh love, you and I both. While high dose IV Solu Medrol is literally a life saver to get out of a relapse with MS, it's that and the month long taper pack that I dread. Insomnia, insatiable hunger, jitters, cleaning everything in sight because I can't sit down, gut rot, metallic taste in the mouth...blerug!!
Glad to see that this round went well. But I do have a couple questions for you. With the 2 pumps/ what seems to be a million different connections for fluids. Like is it possible to accidentally hook up your infusion bag to your feeding tube, and if so what would happen? And vice versa if you were to hook up your feed to your infusion port, what would happen? Is it possible to accidentally do either of these?
When your better Can you do a video of how you guys chose Harlow and how you guys knew you had pots and all your medical issues. (I didn’t know how else to say the last part) ps I hope you feel better soon
I hope the new precautions worked! Was that a pink Easy Walk harness on Harlow? I'm using one(not pink) on my SDiT, because he pulls like a sled dog. It's gotten a LOT better since our trainer fitted him with it, but we're still working on getting out the front door and down the stairs. He loves working and going places so much that he forgets EVERYTHING when we get to the door. My mom is afraid he's going to pull me down the stairs.. And to be honest, that's been a concern of mine too. Yesterday was a bit better, but we're still a work in progress.
You need to look at time frame 11:06 because I think I’m going loopy! In Judd’s bowl of stew, in the upper mid- right of the bowl, just above the top of the stew in the bowl, there’s a eye tricking picture of Harlow. When Judd said there’s a hungry Hippo in the background I saw the image of Harlow in Judd’s bowl. Please look and tell me am I insane or can anyone else see the image I’m talking about. I’ve looked at it several times and I see a puppies head. His two eyes and nose. Again it’s on the inside of Judd’s bowl. At first it just sort of looks like a few dots of stew splashed on the inside of the bowl but as you continue to look you can see a Harlow face. I noticed it first because my iPad froze, due to poor connection, and while I was waiting for it to reconnect it became so clear.
First yay anyway jaquie i have a question and I'm extremely curious when you flown with harlow when she was younger did you have to show proof to the airline people or?

Hey! While I was watching, I was wondering (I don't Know anything about infusing, I don't fight any type of chronic illness, so I'm just genuinely interested) but, don't the extra fluids make you need to go to the bathroom more? PLUS JUDD MAKING HARLOW WAVE DURING THE OUTRO WAS CUUUUUUTE
I got IVIG today (my super powers). I weigh more than you but amount is 30g of Gamaguard. I have been lucky and had aseptic once but not since then. I can only tolerate 120mg/hr. I don't have any pre or post meds unless needed but I still slow down and become fatigued by the end. I hope it helps my current illnesses.
So I know you stopped the vlogging daily due to your health which is super understandable so I hope you see this comment but can I request that you make a video of that meal you made? I'd love to know what you do since it looks super good! Thanks! Lots of love!
you should be able to get IV solu cortef which is comparable to solu medrol at any pharmacy. i get a vial every month as my emergency injection for my Addison’s Disease.
Harlow you silly goose you make me laugh all the time I hope you feel better and today is a new day get a lot of rest cause it’s the best medicine for you love ya 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍💕💕💕💕💕
So, I really need some advice, and not sure who I can ask... it's a really really long story that has to do with my failing health.... I had some questions that I thought maybe you could answer Jaquie... I don't know if I could DM u if you have a twitter account or not.... I have an instagram account but I don't know if you can DM in that. I wish you had a PO Box that I could send a letter through but if there is any way that I could get in touch with you I would appreciate it. There are just a lot of things going on and I am trying to figure out some new treatment ideas to talk to my doctor about and things like that and some other things I thought you might have gone through that maybe you could give me advice on...
Proce the Frey life is another service dog vloging channel, jaquie has done a exchange type thing with them, they have a channel I recommend you check it out.
Totally unrelated to the vlog but I'll be getting a tilt table test as my doctor suspects POTS and I'm really nervous and stressed out with the possibility of getting another diagnosis to add to the list. Could anyone tell me how it feels like getting it done? I would really appreciate if I could read some of the stories that y'all had going through this.
Alicia Jy A tilt table is super easy! I had one a bit longer than a month ago. For mine, they hooked me up to an IV just in case they’d need it later, but I ended up not needing it. You basically get strapped to a table with electrodes on you and such, which are hooked up so that they can monitor your vitals. You stand at 70 degrees (feet down) for 40ish minutes, and if you don’t faint within that you get IV medication to try and induce fainting I suppose? I fainted halfway through the first section so I didn’t need IVs, but I was hooked up in advance just in case. You do have to be quiet the whole time and the room was dark for me, which is boring and awkward bc someone is observing you, but it wasn’t all that bad overall! Don’t stress about it too much, it’s really one of the easiest tests I’ve had to do. And if you get another diagnosis, it isn’t a bad thing! It just means that you now know more about your body and can help get more treatment to regulate.
Good point.......but a little harsh!!!! That's ok!!! To tell you the truth.......in Staten Island NY there aren't good doctors. They missdiagnosed me and my brother.......so, I don't trust their opinion anymore. I am asking you, because you seem to have knowledge and Support. Sorry for bothering you. Best regards, Camelia
I'm sorry but I do not know what you are referring to? I think you meant to reply to someone else. I am not answering a lot of comments today because I do not feel well, so I probably missed your original comment.
I am in a lot of pain........ should I ask my doctor to prescribe torodol IV? Is taking gababentin so much, Is getting tired of it. PO is hard. Please, respond to me if you can. Thank you. Praying for you sweet lady.Best regards
so i have a question.. Because i have sentitivity issues so i cant wear most shirts either, BUT i want to know if you wear bra's? what brand? Because i cant find any that are comfortable to wear :c
ninachildish i never wear underwires that would actually kill my boobs, but its more about the fabric and what its made of, i havnt found one thats a good material yet so i just dont wear bras :c but understandably thats embarrassing at times since im a D cup .....
ninachildish Mostly if i Have to. i wear a loose fitting sports bra and i still end up with a small rash and extremely sensitive to the touch skin, its the material i think, but ive tried so many im sick of waisting money
Brian Paquette-Savary yeah Judd is a deputy, I believe at least. She was calling him a trooper as a saying, because it was like the middle of the night for him, and still took her to IVIG. I’m sure she would’ve have taken any offense to that. No worries
Hey y'all, don't be alarmed by the late vlog. It's IVIG recovery day which means I'm moving slow, taking it easy, and sleeping A LOT. (:

You are also amazing, thank you for making those of us who deal with stuff like this feel less alone.
I’m really glad that you bought the elephant blanket in the end - gets a lot of use.
Love seeing how much Judd helps you with everything. Y'all are so cute :)

Hoping this round of IVIG is even better than the last!
With that amount of fluids I would need to carry a porta-potty with me all the time...
Jaquie, you Judd and Harlow are such a dang cute family! :D

I hope you everything goes well and you get a good sleep! 💖
I'm so glad to hear that this round so far has gone good💖
Harlow’s face was so funny after the bath and when Judd was holding her! I hope ivig doesn’t give you any issues!
What I should be doing: Writting essays and other various school work.
What I am doing:Binge watching you.
I’m not finished but I hope it goes well and you recover quickly. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I was wondering why the vlog was late, then I remembered that it was ivig. Sleep well...

Judd’s haircut looks great. And sweet snuggly Harlow at the end. Jaquie you look great and hope 4th time went well.

Oh Harlow! She is one special dog
Harlow is so freaking funny after her baths!

Lol Judd’s a trooper! A STORM trooper!! Hahahahaha!
Love your vids hope you feel better
Infusions wear me out also ...I was suprised to see you up ..and toradol helps also but salumedoral I dred ...I always try to stay away from prednisone when I can ...
Lupus Warrior live laugh love, you and I both. While high dose IV Solu Medrol is literally a life saver to get out of a relapse with MS, it's that and the month long taper pack that I dread. Insomnia, insatiable hunger, jitters, cleaning everything in sight because I can't sit down, gut rot, metallic taste in the mouth...blerug!!
Best closing of the vlog !
I love happy puppy zoomies after baths!
Glad everything went well, hugs❤❤❤❤❤❤
Also I love Judd’s new haircut!!!!
Even a service pup can be silly and have fun!!! Hehe
The little husky Kya Lynn She has a vlog already made, it should be in the description box!

Bonni-sue Huntley omg yes I see it!!!!
That is a nice bonus that younhot to knock a few steps out..
First yay anyway jaquie i have a question and I'm extremely curious when you flown with harlow when she was younger did you have to show proof to the airline people or?
You never have to show proof that the SD is a SD. You only need to explain the dog helps you with an issue related to the disability and what the task they do is.
Brian Paquette-Savary thanks!!
Yesica1993 A service dog is not a pet. A service dog is trained to do tasks to alleviate issues related to a disability.
Trying to pass off a pet as a service animal is a felony offense.
Watch jaquie's service dog 101 for more 🐕 info.
Even esa you don’t have any issues . There’s no paperwork to prove it anyways
Positive vibes✌ with love❤ from Oregon🌴
I got IVIG today (my super powers). I weigh more than you but amount is 30g of Gamaguard. I have been lucky and had aseptic once but not since then. I can only tolerate 120mg/hr. I don't have any pre or post meds unless needed but I still slow down and become fatigued by the end. I hope it helps my current illnesses.
Harlow steals the show! :-)
Hope all well and hope Judd gets sleep
Hi Jaquie, I just wanted to ask, will you still do RUclips after you are finished with school?
When y'all were priming pumps simultaneously, was it prime-time?
So I know you stopped the vlogging daily due to your health which is super understandable so I hope you see this comment but can I request that you make a video of that meal you made? I'd love to know what you do since it looks super good! Thanks! Lots of love!
Looking spiffy there Judd
your IV pole had a #4 on which I thought was coincidental since this is your 4th treatment!
awww harlow at the end was really cute
You have the cutest family. ❤️❤️❤️
Y'all are so darn cute!
you should try a sticky tack or something sticky like that to keep the table runner on the coffee table
I’m getting the same wheelchair as you. I have eds too. It’s hard when I’m a really high academic achiever and I want to do so much
I love how Harlow's ears look crimpy when wet like she just walked out of the 90's hahahah! Hope you are feeling better!
Judd describing wet dog smell....lmao!
OMG HARLOW NEEDS TO WAVE AT THE END ALL THE TIME NOW I CANT EVEN!!!!!
you should be able to get IV solu cortef which is comparable to solu medrol at any pharmacy. i get a vial every month as my emergency injection for my Addison’s Disease.
“We’re both priming at the same time” can you say #couplegoals ?!! ❤️❤️
Yay clean and happy pup love it
I hope you had a restful sleep.
When everything is loopy and boring, little Harlow can fix that😂
Harlow you silly goose you make me laugh all the time I hope you feel better and today is a new day get a lot of rest cause it’s the best medicine for you love ya 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍💕💕💕💕💕
This was on my birthday!!
You are my rolemodel Jackie’s
You should practice Harlow’s speak command when she gets the zoomies😂😂
I have had IV Solu Medrol many times, and I know what it does for me, but I was curious, why are they prescribing it along with the IVIG?
So, I really need some advice, and not sure who I can ask... it's a really really long story that has to do with my failing health.... Harlow was probably dreaming about Orion 😆
I take iv solumedrol when I have a flair with multiple Sclerosis. I hate the effects of solumedrol
Do all goldens run around like that after a bath? My parent's dog did the same exact thing after a bath.
Judd you are so funny
Is it uncomfortable sleeping with a port or feeding tube in?
I saw where they give saline drips to help Pots
One quick question. Who is "The Frey Life"?
Proce the Frey life is another service dog vloging channel, jaquie has done a exchange type thing with them, they have a channel I recommend you check it out.
What is IVLG ? My Son was just diagnosed with pots 😢
I can't stop laughing 😂😂
Totally unrelated to the vlog but I'll be getting a tilt table test as my doctor suspects POTS and I'm really nervous and stressed out with the possibility of getting another diagnosis to add to the list.
Alicia Jy It wasn't that bad.
Char Ley Thanks so much! :)

Praying for you sweet lady.Best regards
so i have a question.. Because i have sentitivity issues so i cant wear most shirts either, BUT i want to know if you wear bra's? what brand? Because i cant find any that are comfortable to wear :c
ninachildish i never wear underwires that would actually kill my boobs, but its more about the fabric and what its made of, i havnt found one thats a good material yet so i just dont wear bras :c but understandably thats embarrassing at times since im a D cup .....
ninachildish
Mostly if i Have to. i wear a loose fitting sports bra and i still end up with a small rash and extremely sensitive to the touch skin, its the material i think, but ive tried so many im sick of waisting money
Lol if judd says your being loopie you may be lmao xoxo
I need some hope, My Gofundme has got nothing and 286 people have looked at it. No one is even sharing it. Feeling very disappointed.
MS Strong with a Service Dog Im so sorry! I hope you get the help you need! I also. have MS

Good afternoon, Jaquie!Just a thought, isn't Judd a deputy, not a trooper? lol Sorry, no offense meant.
Hope you're feeling awesome today!
God bless.
Brian Paquette-Savary yeah Judd is a deputy, I believe at least. She was calling him a trooper as a saying, because it was like the middle of the night for him, and still took her to IVIG. I’m sure she would’ve have taken any offense to that. No worries
When someone calls someone a trooper it means they are strong and faithful and persevere.
I hate iv fluids. I couldn't put on my shoes when leaving hospital. they looked like two balloons with toes.
