I have been interested in that bike for awhile.
Though obviously can't afford that right now while I'm paying my way through school and working 🫠

I hope more of the moto vloggers did track content to get ppl interested, this is why they gave us sport bikes, if it was bigger maybe some of these amazing bikes wouldn’t be discontinued
They are only being discontinued because of Europe’s emission standards and they are harsher on motorcycles for some reason
@@nathangaylor632 Emission standards don't apply on the track so they would be able to keep them up for sale but since they're being banned from streets there is no point.
@@nathangaylor632 emissions regulations definitely play a role but they're just the final nail in the coffin. If sports bikes sold well manufacturers would put the r&d money into developing an emissions compliant version of the same bike, issue is they've been declining for a long time to the point they barely sell anymore.
As someone who lives in Belgium I can say I've never seen a modern CBR1000RR, only seen 1 modern Fireblade and that was a track bike, only seen 1 modern R1 also a track bike, GSXRs you can forget about completely, on the flip side if you go to the track or a bike meet the parking lot is stacked with brand new Panigale V4s and S/M1000RRs despite the fact they're nearly twice the price. So companies like Ducati and BMW will continue to put money into developing their superbikes while their Japanese competitors don't bother because they barely sell. It was only a matter of time before they were killed off
Insurance companies are the biggest in campaign contributions and lobby money for politicians at least in the US. The government agencies they run went after car manufacturers in 1971 after the biggest year in horsepower. More people are doing high speed runs during the day in traffic. Do the math. Not happy about more government control if that clears up my stance. Cops around me are brutal with speed traps🤬

Grab "Twist of the Wrist" by Kieth Code...its a great book that breaks down how to assess a track and finding the fastest way through it...its been the racers bible for like 30 years...

Looking like h2 did great on the track. More and more I watch your videos is making me want a bike again. Never owned sport bike but rode pretty many. Now at 50 this on on my bucket list to get a sport bike and take it on track. Love your content keep up good work. What got me the most is the diversity of people love it. Remember peeps we all stick together this world would be a better place.
I'm new to your channel but I saw you at COTA on Saturday or Sunday of the race weekend (I vaguely knew that you were a content creator). Kudos to you for bringing the bike on the track! I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico (USA) and our tracks out here are limited. We do have beautiful twisty mountain roads, but that's not the same. Anyway, I hope to ride COTA in the next year or so, and I appreciate you sharing your perspective. Thanks and stay safe!

Nahh, the Ducati by far! It’s got more power, lighter (carbon wheels make it very flickable) and MUCH better brakes. Still love my R1M tho 🤘🏾 #FastLaneGang 🏁

I'll have do a track day some time. There is one not too far from where I live actually (and no, I don't have an H2 😁).
Love the vid. To make that HP go up you can add a new sprocket to the rear with 1 or 2 extra teeth but youll some torque... not much but youll gain more HP
itll make that reading from 300HP on the CRANK to around 280-285HP on the Rear Wheel.

Good show. Think trail braking would be your friend if you wanted to get more front end feel and response from braking. Corner entry is half the battle along with body position. Looks like you had a lot of fun though and that’s what counts

Sound was awesome 👍🏻 A heavyweight to get around them corners. Kaws don't play when it comes to weight I had a 650 and a 900. Hefty rides. Friend had a 900 Ninja heavy heavy ride. That was awesome man 👍🏻

you had fun, sure you went wide a few times, sure the brakes were not the best, but with some tweaking on the bike, maybe brembo brakes, better tires and retune your suspension and try it again. awesome video

It’s odd to me that people don’t realize that the H2 is not a straight line bike. Neither is the Hayabusa, but the buyers for these machines don’t generally care to see how capable they are.
Exactly…I was thinking the same thing!! Straight liner mentality…I was @ Hockenheim in 99 when the German Magazine “MotoRad” were doing their photos and track runs!! They were leaned over to the max!!
On an older video Fast Lane D asked if he should put a stretched swing arm on the H2. Commentors went crazy because I answered no. It takes the agility away from a bike. It also tames an otherwise wild motorcycle. But you want something like this to be wild. It should remind you that it's like a wild bronco that is nice enough to let you ride it. This is why I ride a 750 at my age(45 years old). The 1000's are a bit too wild and torquay for my taste in a daily driver.

just for comparison the fastest bikes on the COTA Motogp straight were the 3 factory KTM's 346,346 347 km that's 215 mph and 1st gear was 135mph.
