This is great adviceJosh, especially the advice on cover letters and reading job requirements. Most of the time its those little details that end up making or breaking one's application.
If I apply for 20 jobs, I'm not going to go through a whole application process and write a custom resume for each. It's an unbelievable waste of time and I think employers should actually drop that requirement. As far as I understand, most don't even look at cover letters before anyways.
Then your application won't stand out from the 100s of others who are applying. And it will convey that you do not put in effort. Most hiring managers will appreciate effort.
Please don't ever stop this series
I'm planning to do alot more :) Welcome

Thanks Abe! All it takes is a little more effort and most people will make it through to the next step

I applied without a cover letter. Does that mean I won’t probably won’t get job?
It doesn't mean you won't get it. But its definitely something to avoid doing in future.
