I don't like the idea that one must have a minimum amount (300 ZAR) im the bank account to use Wise to get paid. PayPal does not have that restriction.

if i want to set up for wise business account (i have wise personal) when I pick as I'm a Sole Trader and what to do i type in the registered business name part, do I type in my own name or my artist name (i do not have a registered business)?

How do you send a request for payment within Wise? I can't seem to figure out how that is done (I haven't set up an account yet as I am shopping around first).

@@MyNameIsDeya Ahhhh perfect! Thanks for clearing that up. From what I understand, I would need to pay an additional fee to transfer money out of Wire into a traditional bank account with a bank. And then another fee from the bank. Doesn't sound like these alternatives are what they claim to be.

Hey Deya. I would like to ask if a clients asked you to communicate via telegram. Then when it's time to get paid they asked you send your money for transaction fee even though you did all the work for them and promised to pay all your money even the transaction fee....Is it legit or scam coz it's only client but more said the same ?

Oh, that's frustrating! I've never had a client try to pay by check before.
I haf 2 clients like that and did not get the projects because of that.

yes they can do a normal bank transfer into your wise account!

Hey Asma - do you mean is it normal to pay a fee to the client? No - that's not normal. What are they asking for a fee for?
Or do you mean is it normal to pay a fee to the payment processor for processing your payment? if yes, then that's normal.

I was hired by a company for translate a document. It was my fist time. They asked me to pay 250 dollars fee to get my payment tru kingsfinca. Is it normal to pay a fee to get your payment? Have you ever heard about this payment method? I got scared and I did not pay the fee.
You should NEVER have to pay to work for a client -- that's not normal at all and is most likely a scam! Be careful!
