I have seen multiple RUclipsrs visit Andrew home and try and show what he is doing behind the scenes on how it is he runs and operates this system . But the time you took to explain and voice over everything made me appreciate it this system that much more. I felt like I was back in class watching some sort of discovery channel coverage and a biology scientist was explaining it all too me . Man what a great video you took the time too make thank you for sharing! I learned so much greatly appreciated!

I greatly admire the tanks with macroalgae because that is the direction I am taking, however, the in-wall aquarium is the show stopper for the relationship of all living things within its confines.
I love the peninsula style reef tank! It's so gorgeous and clean. I wish someone could just make that for me in my own home, but I doubt that service exists. I saw the tank and supplies were $3K, but I have no idea what the livestock would cost for that beautiful creation.

20:00 This tank looks like a real Coral Reef , because on a Coral Reef you have entire fields, of the same variety of corals lined up next to each other over hundreds of square meters then further on another variety on the same principle, etc., but the Tanks where you see lots of different varieties lined up with each other others don't really exist except on particular place like on Coral Potatoes.
So i choose this one =)
But ok for me it lack some fish, like a Blenny-type Ecsenius Bicolor, symbiotic Goby with its Alpheus shrimp, for example, and some detrivorous like Mespilia Globulus sea urchin, blue paws hermit crab , under sand snail and why not an Ophiure, because corals are pretty but with a little life that move on it , i think that it's better ; in all ways it's my opinion & it's up to me of course . =)
i think it will be better when i can hear the sound of these pictures xD

For number 3 (most expensive one) it says no water changes, but also says he uses tap water.
Do you mean for the ATO? Wouldn’t that slowly increase some trace elements found it tap until one day it kills everything?
Yes it definitely will, but i think this is in Germany and they got very clean tap-water, so it might not be a big deal.
Most likely, he does a water change once a year, eventho it says no waterchanges. Everyone runs into issues and imbalances with ALK/Ca, the owner probably does a water change if he sees the reef doing worse?
