I managed to fix mine dude. - leave auto detect on (fidelity settings) - allow 4k (video modes) - untick HDR (video modes) - turn off freesync on your monitor settings - manually cap refresh rate at 120 on monitor settings - restart everything - select 1440p and 120 - enjoy
So do I need to have 4k checked or HDR and Auto HDR checked? Did you show the settings for the monitor? I might of missed it. Thxs for the hard work I'm finally able to put 120hz in the xbox settings! This monitor is so lame lol.
I can’t stop the monitor’s screen tearing above 60hz. Anyone else with this issue?
turn off 4k in the settings on the xbox and it will work
I never could run free sync ultimate with 1440 p 120hz on my chg70 32 inch I could only do one or the other
I play 1440 120 hz and leave hdr, 4K and ycc unchecked
That works also, but all you have to do is uncheck allow 4k.
Yo man, how did you manage to get 1140p @ 120hz, mine will only display 1080p @ 120hz? Any help would be appreciated!
Same, I am only able to select 1080p 120hz or 1440 @ 60hz... Super frustrating as I specifically bought the monitor for 1440p at 120fps

@@thebootzoneuk Nice, I was losing my shit thinking I'd made a terrible monitor purchase.

I've been just unchecking Allow 4k to run 120Hz.
@@ItzTheDay oh so just uncheck 4k?
@@talonstrike7775 yep. If 120 isn't enabled in game, just hit the guide button, go home then back in the game.
@@ItzTheDay can you allow hdr at 120 hz
@@leomartinez5307 not with the Xbox and HDMI 2.0. The way Xbox handles HDR is only through 4k.
