@@PurgeEvilTV There’s so many things that you could incorporate including the summons, the hand to hand combat skills and all the buffs he gets/debuffs he can inflict depending on his weapon choice/fighting style. Looking forward to seeing what you cook up!
So I've been thinking about going Ranger/Warlock for a long time. I feel like you're one of the few RUclipsrs i can ask and can put together an elite & fun build with this. I still don't know if it's viable but i wanted like a DU Ranger(Gloomstalker)/Warlock (any, just Pact of the Blade). BUTT i was hoping to use 2 longswords and that's where things get much less ideal. Basically a dark ranger with evil powers. Would you just punt Wisdom and pump Charisma? Your DeathKnight build pulled me into BG3, and If you're ever bored on a rainy day, id love to see how you would build this Ranger-lock. Thx bro
This is a great build but actually some of the flavor is off. GS is forbid to use water/poision or fire to kill the goblins so what you said in the video is not true. And while orcbold is very creative in combat he doesnt some one that let the rage consumes him so barbarian is a waste. GS combat strategy is alpha strike which is also one of the most effective ones. His build screams the boring ones combination of battle master 6/assasin 3 and gloom stalker 3. The goal is to maximize the first round and the action economy as much as possible so action surge and gloom stalker first hit are perfect for that. For items and asthetic you got it perfectly so great job.
I think your understanding of the flavor is off. Gs uses these methods 100% solo, and even later on. If you’re playing with the party, then maybe so, but even then, it’s not a mandatory rule at all times. That rule is for the prospect of hostages/location specific reasons/because elf is a snowflake. If you want to use that flavor, by all means, but saying that using these methods isn’t flavorful just simply isn’t true. I am definitely not listening to some elf that isn’t even in my party when I have dror Ragzlin tryna rip me in two 😂 and saying that gs doesn’t rage makes no sense as he has raged multiple times
Question. Does starting with Barbarian not give you more hit points per level even when multi-classing? I know you start out with more and get more per level staying a Barb.
If you start as a Barbarian you would have 2 more hit points. Different saving throws and I think you lose 1 skill because barbarian gets 2 where the ranger gets 3 at lv 1.
