Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan Swap Clothes for Charity (1992)

On 27 March 1992, ITV's television presenting power couple Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan decided to swap clothes. Judy presented the flagship morning programme wearing a man's suit, while Richard donned a red dress, tights, heels, and a cheap blonde wig. It was all in the name of charity, specifically the charity Trading Places. Despite Richard's one-off drag performance raising money for a good cause, neither Judy, Nicholas Owen, nor Sonia Ruseler seemed to enjoy the spectacle.
