Thanks for the great review. Very nice guitar for the price. There is also a 330/12 version that can be had for an even better price if you can find one. They do come up for sale from time to time. These particular guitars are a lot nicer than the more recent Chinese clones that are a dime a dozen. It's such a shame that Rickenbacker doesn't produce a value line 12 string series because they would probably sell a lot of guitars to people who would love the real thing but don't want to spend megabucks to get one. BTW, and you did allude to it briefly, Rickenbacker did produce a 360/12 model with an f hole (rather than the familiar cats eye / slash hole) for export. The British distributor Rose Morris bought most of them to sell in the UK. Peter Townshend is probably the mose widely known player to use that model. Rickenbacker went on to produce a Peter Townshend signature 1993Plus RIC 12 with f hole in the early 1990s.
Another nice find mate, gotta love a 12 string. Has a acoustic flare to it, whilst also sounding like a tele/strat. Awesome guitar for the collection
This is a beauty for sure! She sounds really nice acoustically that the computer doesn’t pick up so well but yeah, she is lovely for sure!
. I hated it every time I walked into the Music shop and then suddenly one day I bought it. I love it.
Have to admit, took me the best part of a year of playing around with it before I bought it...
