Read the parable of the prodigal son. When the son left his father's house, to go be part of the world, he was dead, until he decided to leave the world, and return to his father. "Your brother was dead, but now he lives AGAIN." (Lives again) In other words, he was alive, then was dead, and now lives again. Remember, it was Jesus himself who told the parable of the prodigal son

I know YHWH isn't real but correct. YHWH's original Word has never changed from history. The Bible is not all accurate in English but the combined books of Hebrew and Greek from both Testaments.
YHWH is Love. Love is YHWH. Lifted by the Holy Spirit and through Yeshua, that no one comes to the Father YHWH but through Yeshua.

IN CHRIST we are justified, have complete forgiveness, HAVE (now) everlasting life, are complete in Him, and we are seated with Christ in heavenly places. Our flesh was judged and crucified with Christ on the cross. We died to sin and the law. The law has nothing to say to us, once we’re baptized INTO CHRIST, by faith.
Jesus said He will IN NO WISE cast out any who have come to Him (born again). So, your belief that we can lose salvation by living a “sinful lifestyle” is not biblical. “In no wise” means, not for ANY reason.

Purgatory is a Roman Catholic invention and is not Biblical. There is no punishment for sins for the saved, because all sins are forgiven the moment we are saved: past, present, and future sins included. Believers face no judgment from God for our deeds. Jesus Christ is our substitute, and He is pure, holy, and perfect.

1b. How to overcome the world in Revelation 2:7, 2:11, 2:17, 2:26, 3:5, 3:12, 3:21, 21:7, this is how: 1 John 5:1-12 (be born again just like in John 3:1-8)
1c. Being born of God, or born again, is PERMANENT: 1 Peter 1:3, 1:23. It is God who caused us to be born again. It is not of perishable seed but of imperishable. John 1:12-13, "not of blood, nor the will of the flesh, nor of the will of a man, but of God." It is not because of us, not from our own will, but of God. If one can be unborn, it means a mere will of a man can overthrow God's will; which is impossible. One can walk away, but that does not change God's mind about the one who is born again. We are adopted according to God's will, Ephesians 1:5, not our will; so we may walk away but that does not invalidate God's will about us being His sons and daughters because He wants us to be part of His family.

That doesn't give much hope to anyone Vince and nobody could be sure in this life that they are going to make it and not fall into certain sins or patterns of sin if that was the case Jesus promises everlasting life to those who believe on Him and His sheep simply can't be snatched out of His secure hands. This is still quite staggering for me!
I have battled with what appears to the unbeliever to be contradictions. Of course, I knew there was no contradiction…so therefore I was missing something. There was something not quite right with any of the various interpretations I have heard. I knew the Lord would reveal it in time. I had to be open to listen to something I had already decided had to be wrong.

Once born always born. Once born again always born again. Birth is a one way door from which you cannot return. Jesus compares the two, John 3:6 “That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”
(Hebrews 12:6 “For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.” So if a son sins and loses his salvation, then there would be no son for Him to chasten.)
Even Nicodemus knew this when he asked Jesus in John 3:4 “Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?”

What is your opinion on Pastor Robert Morris sexually abusing a 12 year old girl? Do you believe he is saved?
That's because they think they are spiritual Israel and they do not see the difference between the Body of Christ Church and Israel. They do not rightly divide the Word of Truth between what is meant for Israel and what is meant for the Body. That can only lead to total confusion, and a straying from the Truth. Every Denomination out there is taking different bits and pieces of Israel's doctrine and applying it to the Body. Total confusion.
Read the parable of the prodigal son. The son was part of the father's house, but decided to leave the father's house to be part of the world, and after he realized the world was no good, he returned to the father's house. The father, said, "Your brother was dead, and now, he LIVES AGAIN." In other words, he was alive, while he was with the father, but when he decided to leave his father, he was dead, until he returned to the father. Don't let false teachers lead you to death!
Yes these is true, but you kinda proves some of their points, which is salvation is dwelling in the Father or the Son apart from Him you are dead.
The son in the story is part of the family of God, went out of His presence because of Ignorance, His considered death, comes back He's saved again.
Regardless of the reason for the return the ultimate result is He comes back. He was forced to comeback because of His current situation because of His poor choice in Life.

The once saved always saved crowd, believes that there is no way to lose your salvation once you're saved. They believe/teach, that God won't let you leave, yet, the prodigal son, proves that you can leave, and God won't force you to come back, you have to make that choice for yourself.

Now there are two types of Christian a sheep and a goat.
And God will separate the sheep and the goat.
Now a sheep cannot become a goat and a goat cannot become a sheep.
But His the knowledge (these include future knowledge) of God He knows those who are His.
He knows those who will depart from faith. Yet God still chooses to poor out His love for them knowing the outcome. And that is the most beautiful demonstration of His Love towards all the people.
Predetermined assumes that God choose those who are saved, who will be saved, but no where in the Bible teach that, It is man choice but man choice does not suprise God for He knew who are His.
Now why would someone depart from faith
1. The parable of the sower, where mans devotion to the Word are divided by stones and thorns.
We know that a soil alone cannot remove its stones and thorns that are growing, it needs someone to remove it from Him. And that is grace.
2. The story in Luke 7:41 -43
... Jesus ask which of them will love him more? The one's whom he forgive more.
Our commitment to God depends on How much we loved Him.

I tell you these are the kind of sheep that will not let go of what they have found.

I have a hard time with believing this whether it’s sound doctrine or not because it feels so counter to every natural instinct I have about how I ought to be dealt with.
The idea that I could screw-up terribly, have that screw-up span years, die in the middle of that screw-up, and still have Christ claim me as His own when I’d essentially treated Him so abusively and disrespected what He did for me is hard to believe.

Hi JVLorak, honestly, think about it, if salvation is not received solely by believing in Jesus, then we ALL are hellbound. If the work Jesus did on the cross did not pay for ALL sin, then it was not finished. Does the Bible not say we ALL are unrighteous before God? If this is true, the Gospel is NOT Good News for us. But my friend, this is thankfully and wonderfully not true! The GOOD NEWS of the Gospel is that Jesus paid the price of ALL sin for ALL of us, and why eternal salvation is offered as a FREE gift to all who believe in Jesus! @steve4157 the passages before he said that he talked about tribulation. He's saying the ones who endure this tribulation to the end shall be saved (physical death). I believe Once a person is Saved, they will always be Saved, and that includes me. I've had a personal encounter with the living God and have been given the Holy Spirit of promise. Anyone who receives the Holy Spirit is Eternally Secure in Jesus. Anyone who doesn't believe Once Saved Always Saved doesn't believe the message of Jesus yet. Anyone who teaches anything else other than Eternal Security the bible says let them be accursed. We should be strengthening other believers but instead we have to defend the Faith. Eternal Security is the message that i received, not from man, but from the Word of God.

1 John 5:10-13 absolutely proves that Once Saved Always Saved is not some kind of optional thing to believe. Belief that Jesus has given you eternal life (Once Saved Always Saved) is necessary to be born again and go to Heaven.

(2) 1 John 5:13 equates belief on the Son of God to knowing you have eternal life.
@@KCRookie Eternal Salvation is a one time event that happens to a person the first time they believe in Jesus. Ephesians 1:13-14 is a good passage that shows how we're saved. It shows that after you believe you are sealed until the day of redemption (redemption of your body, Romans 8:23).
If a person stops believing later, they are still saved. The Bible is clear in many verses that people get saved the moment they first believe, and that salvation is eternal life, everlasting life, eternal redemption, perfected for ever, shall live for ever, never die, never perish, shall not come into condemnation but is passed from death into life, etc...

NDE are not what we base our beliefs and truth on. We base reality, how the world works, and truth on what the Bible tells us. Near death experiences are extremely subjective and have ALOT to do with chemical reactions in the body. They are just as reliable to understand how the world works as a persons trip on psychedelics. Which to clarify, is NOT reliable.
Because God's trying to tell these once saved always saved folks that this is a lie.

Verse 20 cannot be talking about a physical death because all humans die. It’s a spiritual death. A separation from God. Therefore, can you lose your salvation due to sin? You better believe you can.

I was raised in a doctrine that believed OSAS was considered a "Heresy" I kept asking what determines a person has "lost their salvation?" The answer "God knows your heart." My Answer "how can any one "Stay Saved depending on their own heart?". You only have to study a few hours to comprehend OSAS is a Biblical and Sound Doctrine.
God only has one kind of salvation: eternal. And I thank God in Christ for it, because I have had some really shipwreck days in my life as a believer, but I have an anchor for my soul, I know that Jesus will never cast me away. God doesn't want his born ones to live in fear, and a loss of salvation doctrine does nothing but keep you in fear and bondage again.
Loss of salvation is a fact. One can go from saved to unsaved and the Bible does teach that.
Some people make it sound like the devil has more power than God too keep a person lost. Okay if you can lose your salvation what happens when you get Alzheimer’s dementia what do you say to those folks?

Believers will not be in the tribulation. They will be raptured beforehand. If you read the Book of Revelation, you will not find the Bride, the Body of Christ. Jesus will not allow His Bride to endure 7-years of torment. God did not appoint believers unto wrath.

Many will be given the chance to believe in the Gospel. There will be the 144,000 Jews who will evangelize to bring sinners to Christ. Many believers will be martyred and die for their belief; some will make it to the end. Everyone in the tribulation will be given a chance to choose Christ or the anti-Christ.
Sorry, I didn't completely answer your question. The people of the tribulation who believe in the Gospel of Christ's finished work, who are either martyred or endure to the end, will be saved for eternity.

In general we are both a thorny and rocky soil, on own our we cannot remove the thorns and the rocks but I know someone who can removed those.
The concept of once saved always saved is: you are saved, you are being saved, and you will be saved.
Other concept is God knows the future, He knows who are His Sheep and He knows who are the goats.
And that shows the grace of God, knowing the outcome He still shows you how much He loved you.
And If you understand His loved for you, you will most likely do the parable of the lost coins or the parable of the hidden treasure.
Those that are saved they understand that they have obtained something so valuable that it can not be compared to any anything in this world. That they would be even choose death than to lose that which is found. Which is the Love of Christ in them. Found at the Calvary.
I instinctively disagree, though I am not certain anyone can know for certain. If I am saved and go back to murdering, stealing, commit adultery, etc., I cannot believe that the holy spirit would continue to abide in me.
Even the demons believe, so are they saved? Christ said we are to believe and follow his commandments. I believe we must continually engage in our relationship with Christ and seek to follow those statutes and repent when we fall short.
So what happens to a believer that no longer believes and steps out of Christ? Don't tell me he didn't believe in the first place.

When people learn to differentiate between eternal life which is free by faith in Christ and temporal salvation then you can finally rightfully divide the word of truth it will open your eyes and tear down the walls of confusion. There's way too many uneducated people teaching God's word today.

Nobody ever explains what "believeth on the Son" really means. John 11:26 says "And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die." Again, what exactly does this mean? Once we believe on Christ alone who paid for all of our sins and rose again we are eternally saved. There is a regeneration, a justification, a sanctification, and an impossible separation Romans 8:35-39. Nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus. We get to do good works because we are saved, created in Christ Jesus.
If someone believes in Christ or not he dies. How can anyone claim to be saved?
People who use the term SAVED should first learn what it means.
Being saved is a future hope. Matthew 24:13.
There is a distinction between the body and the soul. Of course every mortal human being will die - his/her flesh will die. But the soul is eternal, and will exist eternally in either heaven, with God, or in hell, separated from God. That is what salvation is all about. It is about where your eternal soul will reside in the future. That is the future HOPE we have when our SOULS are saved while our bodies are still alive here on earth.

The soul refers to the LIVING PERSON.

This theory that the soul is some unseen entity trapped within a human body waiting for a death to take a trip, has no backing in the Bible.

We recieve the Holy Spirit through water baptism. As the Church has always believed and taught. Salvation isn't by faith alone.
